Gehenna, No one ever thought it would happen this way. Our apocalypse, the end of vampires, it never was thought to come to pass. But it did.
The year is 20XX, the world…ours and theirs ended, the apocalypse, Armageddon, Gehenna…The world was ravaged and no one knows why. Dark gases where released into the sky, blocking the harmful rays of the sun from our kind, we walk in the day without harm now. Vampires and humans struggle to get by in most of the world. The masquerade is over, Human’s know we exist; some blame us for their world coming to an end, some hunt us down. The few Vampires that survived must find a new way of life…some may cling to their old ideals; some know the time for change is here. Some just want to survive, and live the normal life, and some want to know why this came to pass and what our future holds for us.
“If you’re hearing this radio message good…I need some help down in Denver Colorado…Yeah I know it’s a hard trip from some of our kind but I promise it’ll be worth it. What your bloodline is doesn’t matter, nor what Clan you’re from…I don’t honestly care. I’m in the Bleeding Palm Inn…Join me if you want. I want to make this new age a good one…for all of us.”
The Bleeding Palm Inn looks like one of those last resort places in city. The surrounding area looks like an earthquake hit it, buildings falling apart left and right, some blackened from fire; it wasn’t a pleasant place to look at. No one walked the streets at this time of the day, not many people stayed in the open for too long actually; they either stuck to the shadows of traveled by other means. Alexandrea Giovanni shuts down her radio transmitter, the most recent radio message would be her fourth and her last; no one answered her previous ones so who would with this one. “Guess I’ll just have to go on alone tomorrow…” she looks at her knife set lying on the desk next to her. “Hope these are enough protection.” She ties the belt around her waist before turning and facing the room. It was covered in different circles of various origins, all served a purpose, Alex sighs as she looks over the mess, and she picks up a map of the states, and walks to the door locking it behind her. Heads down the hallway and sets down the map as she enters the kitchen. Tying her hair back she puts on an apron and starts to pull down orders that Broschu gives her through the small window. She gets to work cooking for the few customers the Inn does get, some humans, and some vampire. Outside the Inn’s sign creeks in a slight breeze the blows through the streets. “Broschu, Order’s up!”
