[PG-13] Proleon Academy (Always Open)

This roleplay takes place in a Alternate History timeline of Earth, but in our modern time. In the 1800's the AIDS virus evolved, and becomes as common as catching a cold, Africans from the SubSaharan desert are taken as slaves, this virus had evolved unknowingly within them, during the long voyage to America, the virus was easily passed to the men,women, and children surrounding them, though there is nothing they can do, many of them die, most of them spread the disease on to others living in America and anywhere else slaves are bought. The mutated gene takes a slow amount of time to infect individuals. The results of which aren't seen until the mid-1800s, an entire small community had been killed slowly by a mysterious disease, the people who emigrated thinking that it was a curse on the town, had signed a death warrant for any other town they dared venture to. Small communities were being wiped out at the Virus spread. Some thought it to be the 'Work of the Devil' on those who they deemed to be sinful, yet they too were swallowed by the AIDS epidemic. The other countries took more time to catch up to, slaves were not as common. But the virus had spread anyway. Eventually in the 1920's, WWI occurred resulting the crossfire of many European countries. The majority of the soldiers had been infected as they met foreigners. Resulting in a major economic, and health breakdown. From which all of Europe suffered from. The U.S. on the other hand developed more technology, mainly due to the healthy disposition of it citizens, AIDS had yet to become a huge problem. In fact, AIDS had yet to be designated with a name. The U.S. Flourished in prosperity, but another outbreak was just waiting to be released. Europe had been damaged so heavily by the disease and its economy and most of its countries had declared bankruptcy, America had held fast and strong to its policy of isolationism, but it wasn't until Soviet Russia had spread communism in the 50's is when the U.S had started to take note, never had their been an empire to challenge the US's declaration of democracy, and so in 1958 the U.S. declared war on the Soviet Union due to the fear of invasion. The eastern half of the world had yet to be familiarized with the AIDS epidemic, as it only mainly affected Africa, and parts of Europe. During the few decades that the U.S had not gone to any major wars, technology had been rapidly improved upon, government agencies and corporations had funded the advancement of technology thought to be far along into the future. Computers (think early apple computers) became a commodity, and next to this came cellular phones. The U.S. and Soviets fought a vigorous war that had lasted 10 years. In the end, the countries had compromised, their soldiers had been depleted most of them were stricken by an unknown ailment, apparently the epidemic came back with a huge force while Europe had still been in a recovering phase, though the war with the Soviet Union, had caused the virus to became more prominent is eastern Asia. While the U.S. suffered, the economic breakdown and health benefits were lacking, The US fell into a deep recession, with most of its workers disabled, or dead. Finally, tests had been conducted on the population, and a certain virus ad been identified. It affected maybe 900,000 Americans, the results were sent to other nations that had conducted the same research and came up with the same results. Finally in 1972 the virus had been given its name. The Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. The main reason why this disease had gone unnoticed for so long, was due to the complex nature, whereas someone might have an infection or sickness, they would not usual have, but physicians themselves would not be able to test for any abnormalities. Why at the time had it not killed off the rest of the population if it had been so common. The best conclusion to this question was found in some of the population who had tested to be unaffected, A single gene, passed from their ancestors which gave them immunity to the disease, and the long term effects. The whole world had been infected by something they could not stop. Infants would be born with the disease and die before the age of 2, but some had developed a natural genetic immunity, which was very rare. Geneticists began to decode the gene which was completed in 1976 and designated it as CCR5-delta 32. Yet, there was nothing they could do with the gene at the time, not until technology had caught up with the people, and it was advancing quite far, the first functional OS had appeared, and Music became a digital convenience, the internet allowed for the connection of several individuals around the world. Instead it was decided to collect those they found to be genetically immune to AIDS, and tell them about the unfortunate circumstances surrounding their survival, about 15% of the population was found to be genetically immune. Thus began mass extermination in way of the disease, these few survivors had to learn to rebuild the human population. In 1986, what was left of that research team in the 70's, finally completed several gene serums that would create the immunity to abolish any chance of the world becoming like it was at the current time. The rest of what was left of the non infected population surmounted to 700 million humans. In the 1990's more than half of the population of Earth had been demolished by the disease about 2% of the victims still lived. The non infected had passed on their genes to their offspring, and women were encouraged to have as many children as possible. This new decade brought along more advancements in genetic serums, to keep the population as stable as possible, the fear of another disease evolving was prevalent but calmed by researchers. The world was no longer split into countries, no one was identified by their native homeland, but instead everyone was united under one continent, one world. Eventually, the population was able to rebuild to 1 billion in 15 years. The advancement of technology and the union of the human race allowed for this prosperity. 2005 runs along, society still being developed and improved on, a little more eco friendly, but that may be because of the average population, countries and boundaries no longer exist, and people are free to move wherever, this is a time or prosperity, the world is at a relative peace, machinery is built to increase productivity, disease is nearly non-existent, and gene serums can be used to create new cosmetic discoveries. Yet in this time came a great strife, the population has started to demand that the genetically disabled be separated from the population and eventually purged from life itself. The public demand was enormous, generally people who weren't productive, firm and healthy were looked upon negatively, so much stigma had been brought against them that violence and murder had raised in certain areas of the world. In 2006 procedures for this mass segregation occurred, people went missing and were murdered overnight, propaganda explicitly going against the genetically disabled were hoisted above the heads of fevered followers of the movement. The killings and segregation going on, while the average human lived in luxury and happiness. Until finally an assassination on live television occurred, A.D. 2008, a man claiming to be named "Seigi" took the life of a beauracrat on live television, he had shot him point blank in the chest, and only seconds later as enforcement arrived he was killed, shot multiple times in the chest by various weapons used by the team. Yet, as everyone had supposed it was over, the body of "Seigi' struggled on, in fact he stood up as if nothing had actually occurred wiping off the bullets with ease. That was the day when the world roared with anger, fear, suspicion, amazement, and happiness. Without an explanation, he allowed himself to be captured by the police, before being escorted to the car, he had simply stated. "There are more of us..." "He was right" Suddenly he ignited a flame, people left and right started to admit the circumstances, all these years of genetic improvement had resulted in a rare mutation, one that could even be called an evolution. A new gene, that resulted from the immunity to the AIDS gene that had catapulted the world today. These people had been living in secrecy fearing that revealing their powers might result in a purge, though for them the world couldn't be any more lively. The famed Seigi, had been a man whose family had been purged because of their genetic indecency, he vowed revenge on the man who had claimed that their illness had been sufficient enough for a purge, and so as he suffered interrogation and tests while incarcerated, he escaped, his plans now are unclear, but from what can be observed he is targeting Proleon Academy for unknown reasons."

This takes place in a slightly futuristic 2012, where humans use Gene serums to improve their Hereditary DNA and appearance, you live in a time of great technological advancements, but your genes are often the center of hot debate around the world. Many believe that we are an evolution, some of us believe we should be segregated and killed like the genetically disabled in fear of our genes passing on to the next generation. You have probably been hiding your powers for your entire life, but now an Academy made specifically for your kind has been created to cater and protect us.
In lue of this the world has suffered through the strife of the AIDS epidemic, and the evolution of the virus, and its common infection rate, the world suffered for years, as the disease ran rampant, the only ones to survive happened to be those who were geneticallly immune to the disease itself, making way for future generations to create serums to implement the immunity. Their efforts were so well received that in 2012 the population of Earth rebounded, and it has been concluded that perhaps those from the old world, who had been infected have died off, leaving only all of those who were gentically imune to the virus. Later, it was decided as society improved greatly, that the genetically disabled be segregated and killed, this has caused much of the poplation to be afraid of genetic disability, but as a year passed after the ruling, "Seigi" a radical murdered a beauracrat who had ruled his parents unfit, as he was shot down by reinenforcements, he brushed off the bullets with ease, he was immortal, and unable to be killed off, he allowed himself to be arrested, and as he made his way into the car, he looked into a camera and announced his message.
"There are more of us"
He was right, and since that time, many people have come out announcing their powers, and in only a year or two Proleon was built.
Your Purpose
You are a student at Proleon Academy, you have been chosen because of your genetic abilities, this can range from anything to an inhuman nature to immortality, you are here to become productive members of society, and once you graduate, you will be honored, and your DNA will be preserved for future generations. Here we will teach you to hone your abilities, and use them for the greater good if possible.

After school you may spend your time anywhere in the city, or stay after class.
Fighting is prohibited, unless in dueling class.
Dress code includes no bathing suits, or lingerie.
Class starts at 9:00 am sharp, and ends at 3:30
Drugs, alcohol, and any type of gang activity is prohibited.

Rina Misami: Formerly the student of Professor Wayne, a man who had pioneered in the development of cosmetic genes, she had been certified to administer these young stars into the future of genetics. She is loving, carefree, but frank and responsible, she is quite intelligent and only wants to spread her knowlegde and leadership skills to those she believes best need it. She is 31.
Vice Principal:
Semaine Greer
Much more stern and serious, Greer is secretly Jealous of Mrs. Misami, but hides this under some of his firm ruling over schoolgrounds rules. He is more focused in atittude than behavior. Sees some children as being nuisances. Some of the students compare him to Professor Snape, from the recent finding of the old fantasy book series Harry Potter, albeit, he is a little less suspicious. He is 37.

Personality: Rhea could be desricbed as a cool, collected, and calm individual, who despite her abilities, she does not have any anger problems. She displays a natural menacing attitude that is replaced by her laugh, and smile quickly, but don't be fooled, she can be superfical, often calculating a person's merit before deciding on befrineding them she's a gambler, and has an obvious penchant for being a delinquent. She dan respect anyone but that doesn't mean she favors you in any way. She is patient, dedicated and loyal, to people who have proven their worth to her. She is highly emotional and sensitive, and her thoughts can be very far-fetched, almost dreamy, though she tends to have a desire to stray from this inner part of herself. If anything, to her, crying is taken as a symbol for weakness, when she becomes angry she can sometimes burst into tears, unless she is fighting. She has an extreme sense of will and determination, which may come from the rage of simply being violent although she does not lose her mind, just her sense of empathy.

Personality: Somewhat more serious than his sister, he is very calm, but naturally he can get egotistical when fighting, yet he considers all of his opponents equal no matter who he fights, he has a tendency not to like many people, but he at least respects them, he has trouble with the opposite sex and is a little awkward around women, he tries to be nice, but he might come off as a jackass sometimes, when he constantly complains about how flawed something was. He is very stubborn, and once he makes his mind about something, it can be very hard to convince him that he is wrong. He would much rather be alone most of the time. It should be noted he's a little insane when fighting, he can completely disregard his safety and try to outright attack the opponent when adrenaline is pumped, or something that is precious to him is threatened. He believes everything happens for a reason.
