(IC) Sins of our Ancestors: The Resistance

"Fine. You? I killed one guy to your four. You win this one." Soul said, referencing their game of who can kill more.
"We have to get Elaki. Some guy got her and when you came in he ran."
Looking at the ground where the guy stood, he followed the path with ease.
"He couldn't have gotten far. He was pretty damn big."

[The Bartender]

"Hello? Is anyone here?"

Iregana heard someone call and stood up. She was still sitting on a flat stone and after looking around for a while, she locked into one direction.
"There are... 8 people... no, 7... no now only 4. Two of them are running away... maybe fleeing from bandits...?" She talked to nobody.
Then, She jumped into the air and wings appeared on her back as she flew toward the humans not far away from her position. Iregana soon noticed two humans running quickly from two other humans. One of the fleeing persons, a woman struggled much and the man was holding her arm, almost pulling her with him.
"So... the woman is not his comrade... more like you are a bandit." Iregana sighed and flew toward the ground.
"You are really disturbing." She said as she flew right over the bandit who suddenly stopped and looked around himself;
"Who is talking? Are you one of those bastards using shadows?" He shouted,
"No no no. Don't misunderstand me. I'm just flying throught here." Iregana chuckled and the man looked up to end with an open mouth as he could clearly see Iregana's underwear. The sight was quickly disturbed as the bandit got a bright red glowing spear rammed into his mouth and leaving throught the back of his head.
"It is very unorthodox to stare." Iregana said cold and pulled the spear out of the bandits mouth.
"Uuugrh.... I...it hurts..." The bandit gasped and fell down on ground. Iregana landed on the ground right before Elaki.

"Are you alright? Did he hurt you?" She looked at the woman with an innocent smile, still holding the bloodstained spear in her hand.

Kiba was heading twoards the Erased mountains. He didn't know why exactly, because a voice in his head had told him to? No thats not it. It was to find the voice that told him to and tell them to shove it up theirs. He was out of it when he had gotten the messeage he didn't even remember what the voice was like, (it had come just affter an attack) and he had an extreme head ache at the time. He couldn't even remember what had been said. All he knew was he had a nagging desire to go to the erased mountains and that he had been told to do so through someone entering his mind. That is why he was going, because some idiot thought it was ok to delve into his mind. He was not ok with that. His mind was his own. Besides, the nagging sension at the back of his mind was annoying.

So he had gotten bandadged up, taken all of his supplies he would need, (which included enough food for his journey, and his throwing stars) and had left. He had been traveling for a few days now and was at the base of the demolished mountains. 'Hmph, those stinking angels' he said. Just the he realised something, he didn't know at what part of the mountains he was to find whoever this was. Let alone what they looked like. 'When and if I find this man, I am going to beat the crap out of him soo bad-' he thought as he looked around. He saw nothing, heard nothing, and knew not where to go.

'Well this is just great.' he thought as he began his ascent. After he was higher than before he looked around again. Then he saw something that may help him, smoke. 'That's probably from a camp. Where there is a camp there are people, where there are people ther is information.' So he started of twoards the camp. Once he was there he peered in to see what kind of people were there, and just to his luck it was the worst kind of people, bandits. 'Looks like I get to have some fun.' he thought as he walked out from behind the brush.

"Hello gentalmen." he said walking into their camp. He was going to go on trying to be friendly, but he was attacked by a man with a spear. He broke the head of the spear as it neared his chest. "So it's going to be like that?" he asked as he began to note where the water in the area was. 'Good more than enough to cover this area.' he thought. Just as the other men had decided to flank him a thick fog set in around them, bringing visiblity down to zero, and a dome was created by plates of ice, that all reflectd Kiba's image. "Think now do you really want to fight me?" he asked.

A rock was chucked at one of the ice plates as an answer. Nothing happened as Kiba was constantly reparing each of them so that they were very near unbreakable. 'Of coarse.' kiba thought as he pulled out his throwing stars. 'Lets see here, eight stars nine men. Looks like I'll have to get my hands dirty.' With that he began poping out from the diffrent ice plates throwing a star at a vital point taking out the man he was aiming for. Once there was only one man left, (standing in the center looking all around himself) Kiba merely dropped down silently behind him and snapped his neck.

'Might as well see what supplies they have.' kiba began rumaging through the camp and soon decided that it was far to large for the number of people he had just killed. 'Oh great there is more of them.' he said as he hurridly grabbed one of them mens short swords of his corpse, and retrieved his throwing stars. 'Gotta get out of here unless I want to fight more of those stinking- his thoughts were cut of as he heard a scream, a womans scream. 'Dang it.' he thought as he headed twoards the scream...

Kaldon melded into the shadows once again as he went to find Elaki, for he could travel much faster in the shadows than any man could on land. The trees and bushes passed by him in a dark blur, and in this dark form he was able to see the glowing outlines of Elaki and the other man.

Suddenly, a third outline appeared in the sky. Confused, Kaldon emerged from the shadows nearby, drawing his rifle from behind his back in case things got messy. And yes, things got VERY messy. The third person stabbed some kind of glowing red spear into the bandit's mouth, killing him and allowing Elaki to go free. At this, Kaldon merged back into the shadows and instantly emerged from them in front of Elaki, keeping the newcomer from coming any closer with her bloody red spear. He pointed his gun at her, cautious yet curious.

"Who are you, stranger?" Kaldon nodded at the dead man on the ground. "And why did you decide to help us out?"

A minute later, Soul had managed to come to the clearing where Kaldon and Elaki were. And a flying woman holding a glowing spear.
"Uhh, who the fuck is this?" Soul said, pointing at the flying chick with his thumb.
He ran over to Elaki and grabbed her from Kaldons grasp.
After giving her a long kiss, he asks her,"Are you ok? Did he do anything to you?" He asked as he looked her over.
"No, I'm fine Soul. Just dont leave me alone. This always happens whenever you do." She said, agitated.
"Sorry. Whos this chick?" She shrugged her shoulders, so Soul made a spear similar to the one Fly Chick had from his shadow.
"Who the hell are you?"

[The Bartender]

"Oh... hello to you as well." Iregana said quirky. She looked at the two men and the woman, still smiling even thought she was pointed with weapons. She let her spear go and it wanished in a bright flash, at the same time her wings wanished as well.
"My name is not important as well as my intentions. I would more be interested why you are here? Normal people don't wander throught the Broken Mountains just like that. At least because they belong to the territory of an Angel."
She made a counter-question, trying to awoid answering.

Kiba moved quickly as he could while being quiet. He came past a mass of bodies, 'The rest of the bandits.' he thought as he looked at them. Then he heard voices not much further into the woods. Without a second thought he went twoards the voices. He knew that he would either find the bandits that had lived, or those who had killed them. He quietly approached the egde of the clearing remaining concealed. He saw a girl flying with a glowing spear in hand. His face flushed and he looked away as a gust of wind came.

Kiba directed his attention to the men running into the clearing. He listned as the group talked, and watched with intrest as the girl's wings and spear vanished. He listened to her counter question. 'hiding something.' he thought, but he wasn't to sure. Se did have a valid point, not many people went to an angels teritory. However the flaw in her question, which Kiba took note of, was that she too was in an angels teritory. Kiba didn't know what would happen so he began to slowly let a mist creep in. At the rate it came in if a battle did begin they would have no clue that the fog suronding them had been made, or was controlled.

"Oh no. Your not getting away that easy. Kaldon. You wanna do it?" Soul said, meaning turning into thier other sides. Thier dark sides.
"Do you feel that? She came and the poundings in my head stopped." He turned to the female."Are you Irigana?" Without hesitation, he walked up to her and put his Shadow Kukri to her neck.
"I can cut your neck right here! Making us leave our home. How dare you take advantage of the human mind. By using Telepathy of all things! You can kill someone!"
His rage got the better of him. Hestepped back, and the small tattoos on his hands began to glow a dark purple. Not even Elaki could get him to stop the transformation. Only Kaldon could end it now.
His mind began to grow dark, his senses heightening slightly.
Fog. Even better.

"SOUL." Kaldon elbowed him in the stomach, still watching the girl keeping his rifle trained on her. The tentacle-like tattoos on his arms began to glow a bright blue when Soul's tattoos began to glow, but as he elbowed his brother, the tattoos lost their glow. "Cut it out. We don't need that right now." Returning his grip to the gun, he grinned at her. "My apologies, Miss. My brother can get out of line occasionally. Now, I have an idea. How about we-"

He was cut off by a feeling of extreme nausea. Grasping his gut, Kaldon closed his eyes in pain, doubled over to the side, and vomited. Dammit. Every single time that I kill. Wiping his mouth with the back of his hand, he turned back to the girl, gun still pointed at her.

"My apologies for that as well. Anyway, we are the ones asking the questions here. We could be peaceful travellers attempting to cross these mountains to get to our loved ones, or we could be bloodthirsty cannibals that are looking for food. Either way, it matters not. I am the one pointing the gun at you, and I am the one asking questions. What we want to know is who you are and why you helped us out." He raised his eyebrow, thinking about something. "Are you Iregana?"

When Kaldon elbowed Soul in the stomach, it was easy for him to regain control.
"Sorry." He said as he looked at the female.
Damn Shadow side wants control of Kaldon and I.

As Elaki stared at Soul, her mind began to wander.
I'm worried about him. That other thing is getting the better of him more and more. I just wish I could help.
"Who are you?" She asks the Female
