(IC) Sins of our Ancestors: The Resistance

"And it is not possible to escape anymore, you chose to follow me and that was the proof of your loyalty toward me. And if you would leave now, you would just walk into your doom with the numbers of Undead gathering in the mountains right as we talk."

Kaldon growled, his focus shifting back towards Iregana. "My loyalty goes to no one, least of all you. I make my own decisions, and you do not control me." He began to walk towards her. "I went to you because a little voice in my head kept on pulling me here like a fucking toothache, so here I am. And you still think that you can force me to do your will?"

At this point he was right in her face. "You can't make me do anything. Sure, seal me inside this mountain. Throw me to the hordes of undead. Stab me in the chest with that damn glowing spear. I don't care. You can cause me pain or bring me death...well, not without a fight, but you can NEVER make me bow to you and do your will like I am your slave."

He jabbed a finger at her, speaking in a low yet intense voice. "Now, I have killed today, and I am not afraid to do it again. Let us leave or things are going to get messy. Pick your poison."

[The Bartender]

"Oh no, you understood me wrong. I don't want you to bow before me, I just wish you to help me to kill that damn Angel I'm talking about. It woudn't cause ou any disadvantage as you would be free from the Undead. You just come with me to Rome, or what is left of it and kill the damn thing and you can go whereever you want. Did you get it?" Iregana smiled to Kaldon.
"And besides, you are just big talk without your powers so if you wish to try and fight me, then go on." Iregana taunted the man.

[TheDoctor]

Kaldon let out another laugh. "Oh, why didn't you just say so?? You mean if I kill just ONE Angel, I am free to go wherever I wish?" His voice was so sarcastic now that it was impossible not to pick up. "All I have to do is kill ONE of the immortal gigantic demons that rained down upon Earth and completely obliterated our civilization as we knew it? You know what? Why don't we just tie our ankles to rocks, jump in the deepest water we can find, and see if we can breath? That seems more possible than your goal of killing an Angel right now."

He clenched his fist, feeling the foreign chill of the tattoos glowing brighter on his arm. His dark side was growling ever so deeply, scratching at Kaldon's insides with intensity. The beast, however, was not in control. Not by a longshot. Kaldon knew that it wished to be free, but he was the one in control of it. His emotions would not dictate the crazed demon that was himself. Well, imagine that. The baby's kicking.

"And besides, you are just big talk without your powers so if you wish to try and fight me, then go on."

Kaldon grinned smugly. "Is that so?" He began to circle the girl with a calm walk. "You really think that? Well I hate to disappoint you, but the power isn't what makes you powerful. It's what you can do without it that makes you strong." He continued circling her, like a wolf trapping its prey. "I don't think that you want to fight me. You might break a nail, honey."

[The Bartender]

Kaldon grinned smugly. "Is that so?" He began to circle the girl with a calm walk. "You really think that? Well I hate to disappoint you, but the power isn't what makes you powerful. It's what you can do without it that makes you strong." He continued circling her, like a wolf trapping its prey. "I don't think that you want to fight me. You might break a nail, honey."

Iregana laughed, loudly and with a creeping, chilling tone in it;
"Is that so? Is that so? Then show it to me, show me what you can do without any power, HUMAN!" The last word sounded like if someone would have scratched glass with a small piece of stone. Iregana laughed and released the purple orb, making it glow in the air almost in the ceiling of the cave;
"Come on, if you can hit me once I will let you go, you punny man. Now, go and release that beast inside of you as it seems he would like to play. Or are you just scared that it could break you and take your place?" Iregana howled and spread her wings.

[Enfilon]

These people are fucking crazy, why.....why did they have to be the one to fight the bandits. She hung her head down with a sigh. Well I should probably interject before people start dying on us. The debate between the two was getting worse and now the girl was asking for fight. There are only two people in this world who act like that, weak idiots that have some balls, or people with the power to back it, as far as I can tell she's the furthest thing from an idiot.

She walked over to Kaldon and put her hand on his arm and looked at him with her eyes of worry. "Calm yourself, this is neither the time nor the place." Her hand slid off and she turned to the girl. "What makes you think we have any chance against an Angel whatever you are?. She's probably not human, for her to be yelling at us calling us humans is saying shes something greater, or maybe she is just really fucking cocky.......... "A few Angels killed our entire world, just a few, killed BILLIONS of people, what crazy idea do you have that would even give us a 1,000,000/1 chance of winning?" She said.

[SoulReaper]

Did she just call us humans? Soul let out a long sigh,walking back to Elaki.
"I want you to stay back. Something might go down. Don't come out until I say so. Understand?" Elaki nodded her head, and gave Soul a hug. Before she left to hide, he gives her a kiss, and turns back to Kaldon and Irigana.
Per usual, his tattoos were glowing a dark purple, since Kaldons tattoos were doing the same in blue.
What was suprising about the whole situation was that the woman Kaldon fondled went to calm him down first.
"Ok listen. Irigana, since you just called us human, you must not be human. You can't just keep us in here, no matter how powerful you claim to be." It was Souls turn to be reasonable.
"Kaldon, I won't stop you from anything. Because personally, I don't think think is the time or place. Just like uh... What's your name? Anyway, you need to let us go. It can be now, or when the undead are gone. I don't care. We can fend for ourselves. And none of us are loyal to you. The only reason we came here was because the rain. Given we survived every time we got caught in it, it's not fun. Both of you need to calm down."
"Irigana, angels are IMMORTAL! Subjective word in that sentence is immortal. Meaning we can't kill them! We're like ants trying to kill a person. It won't work." Soul gave out a small laugh, knowing full well what would happen if someone tried to kill an Angel.

[The Bartender]

"A few Angels killed our entire world, just a few, killed BILLIONS of people, what crazy idea do you have that would even give us a 1,000,000/1 chance of winning?

"Ok listen. Irigana, since you just called us human, you must not be human. You can't just keep us in here, no matter how powerful you claim to be."

"Irigana, angels are IMMORTAL! Subjective word in that sentence is immortal. Meaning we can't kill them! We're like ants trying to kill a person. It won't work."

After hearing these theses, Iregana calmed down a bit, she let her wings disappear even thought stood still on the stump;
"Well, just for your info, El, I could offer you a 1/1 chance of winning if you would help me, or 1/2 if someone were to die before reaching Rome." She smiled, no more the cold, emotionless smile like for few moments but a warm smile.
"Yes Soul, I called you humans, and what comes to what I am I myself aren't quiet sure what I'm myself. Am I a chost, an undead or even an Angel? Well, to be an Angel I'm too small so that is quiet out of question. Maybe I'm a chost of an ancestor but I'm not sure... But what is sure is that I'm not human, for a human I'm just... not like you..." She said and looked away from the people inside the room and wiped her face. She then turned to back to Soul and said, again smiling but her eyes were a bit reddish (after crying);
"Yeah, they are immortal, but not Ancestor-proof (John Carter). They were able to kill all the humans even thought the numbers mostly because of the Undead as well as their power to seize the area around them, turning it into their territory and making themselves invincible. But as they seized the whole earth, they moved all humans into their territory, to the same level of existence and made themselves vulnarable. If you have enough power, you can kill them. Only problem are the Undead as well as the size of the Angels... huh?"
Iregana was stopped as a loud noice hailed from the corridor, the sound of breaking rock.
Iregana hissed;
"Damn, they already found me." She jumoped down and ran to the apple tree and took one of the apples and put it into the small pouch attached into her belt. At the same time, the red spear appeared and the purple light wanished;
"I would like to chat more but we have company. We could say this is the appetizer of what you will see if you come with me." Iregana shouted to the others as the sound of breaking stone came nearer and suddenly a pile of rock flew into the hall, crushing the tent and the apple tree. After that, sounds of footsteps could be heard, one quiet normal sounding, and one big and heavy ones. Then a young man entered the room and behind him a big, furred creature that breathed small fire bursts.

"Your time in our territory has ended girl." The man said, opening his eyes which were shining red. He ws holding a long spear in his hand and the monster behind him growled quietly. Iregana smiled;
"What an honour, to be visited by Grumo and Tragh personally. I cannot offer you an apple as you just crushed them. But if you want, I could offer you the blade of my spear." She smirked and jumped into the air and opened her wings.
The man laughed;
"As funny as always... But my name isn't Grumo, it is Gruomgah". Grumo shouted and jumped toward Iregana.
"Tragleh, kill the humans, I will take this small rebel!" Grumo ordered the beast which answerd with a roar and turned to the other persons.

[SoulReaper]

Soul didn't hesitate as he ran toward the beast, bow at the ready. Arrow after arrow was fired, until he got close to the beast. He dove to the left, shot two more arrows, and made it dissipate back into the ground.
"Kaldon! This thing is fucking big! Mind helping me out some?!" He yelled as the arrows barely pierced the skin. He turned his head and saw Irigana lunge for Gaylord, who also had a spear.
Elaki! Fuck! He got up, and ran to the last place he saw her peek out.
"Elaki! Listen, I need you to stay out of sight. If the thing comes over here, blind it, and run."

[TheDoctor]

The purple light vanished, and Kaldon felt the familiar and comforting cold of the shadows embrace him once again. As the circumstance escalated from bad to worse, he felt his other side stir within himself. Alright, buddy, here we go. He locked eye contact with Soul, grinned smugly, and nodded.

As he turned back to the beast, his tattoos exploded in bright blue light, and his eyes glowed with a similar light. The light was blinding, which was a tad ironic considering Kaldon's power, and the outsiders were not able to see anything inside of it. A roar came from inside of the light, a roar that was a harmony of man and beast. Then, the light vanished in a void of darkness. As everyone's eyes adjusted, a monster stood in Kaldon's place.

The beast of shadows charged at the other beast, lowering its horns as an aura of darkness seeped from behind it.

Finally! Soul let loose, his tattoos bursting in a dark purple light that covered his whole body. The transformation was much like Kaldon's, the only difference being the light was purple. The light faded, and in Souls place was a monster.(My avatar just more human looking)
It was much easier to control when Kaldon was nearby in his form, but it was still a challenge to not go and attack anything.
Kill! Kill! Kill! It thought eagerly. Soul refused to think it wasn't him, he kept reminding himself of what Kaldon told him outside the cave.
Kaldon! You take right, I'll take left! While they were in thier shadow forms, they could mentally speak to each other, however, they used rarely.
Knifes floated in the air around Soul, prepared to be launched at the beast.
