Adam smiled and nodded at Bristol. He enjoyed it most when people talked to him like a regular person. Most people seemed tip toe around him, speaking all carefully and guarded as if not sure how he might react to somethings, which annoyed him. He may have some odd habits and hobbies, but really he didn't act or respond any differently than anyone else. But Bristol didn't do any of that, he could tell by the lack of strain in her voice and the flow of her words. "Sure thing Bristol," he said happily. "Actually, I think I might have just the thing you need at my station. Two days ago I found a...um...Chivnokof told me what it was. A mukit? No...muss...musket! One of the first guns ever made I think. The gun itself I think is worthless, but the trigger is very similar to that of a crossbow, if ya think you could use it. Other than, whatever ya need I'm sure I can for you."

Bristol didn'thear much except the part about the trigger. Her head snapped up and she smiled. "That would be awesome, and you'll need to go swimming. I'm looking for a trident." She sighed as the waitress came back to take her plate. Bristol thanked the waitress before standing numbly. She folded her fingers together and smiled at Adam. "Where do think one is...?" Her voice trailed off, not knowing his response to her quest. Truely, she needed the trident badly. Her goal was making smaller tridents, for the arrows. They would pierce the target more, making a deadlier weapon.

    Titania

"Ah, nothing like destroying and rewiring a bunch of weapons to get you feeling alive," she giggled as she swam swiftly out of the unit. Under one arm stuck a small supply stash, and under the other, a mystery item wrapped in paper and tied like a lovely parcel with ribbons.

"Well, it can't be put off any longer. Now or never. This is it," she murmured, going through every expression she recalled that meant the end to kill time. With a sigh and a heavy heart, she began her journey to a place of most danger to any mermaid: Republica. To avoid being spotted or stopped by one of her fellow mermaids, she took the less traveled currents and answered questions as briefly and nonchalantly as possible. A "Strictly business" here or a "Orders of the head commander" there and she was able to meander from the busy tides of Eden to the stretch between where she swam and her goal.

Adam tilted his head and seemed to stare out into the distance as he thought for a moment. "I...cannot make any promises. Merfolk have not used tridents in many generations. I can ask Ayella though. If they do have any, they are deeper than I am able to dive. But I will try my best to get you one." He took a bite of sushi and a sip of water. "Can you show me what you are working on? I always like seeing your work."

(Better not take my trident >3>) "I've had enough of this." Flalazina said in english this time, she learned it over time. Anyway. She dove underwater as she swam by old trinkets tv sets and what not till she resurfaced again this time back on a rock...she was looking. "Maybe there's some Atlantains to stop or some mermaids to fight or something? She sighed as she just chewed on some more seaweed. "Really today is slow..well that's really not a bad thing to think about it...atleast i get a break for once."

She thought as she looked at the shores of the republic. "Traders..." she said as she thought about the mermaids flopping all over to floor working for the humans. She grabbed a small shrimp she saw floating about the water and ate it. " I don't understand why people throw away the shell that's the really good part." She thought. "I wonder what Titania is doing..."

'Upon the coast where no blood of discrimination is spilled begets peace between the walker and the swimmer.' - Unknown Author on the relations between humans and Merfolk.

Ezekial had returned to his home after sitting upon a lonely rock and meditating for several hours, imagining what the future could bring with peace between the Merfolk and the Humans. Meditation for him wasn't part of his weekly schedule but instead it was just something spontaneous to do which helped him organize his thoughts and reasons. It was quite like hunting for him. Though Ezekial had become a pariah to the Triton kind, he still engaged himself in hunting and proving his strength among the crowd. It was obvious to many he was losing his warrior instinct while spending more time studying political and social issues.

Entering his serene home which was settled a distance away from the city, he placed his traveling pack down upon a stone table. in it, he revealed there to be a collection of scrap parts from sunken crafts and an assortment of brightly colored rocks. The rocks were placed upon a large ceramic plate which was populated with a variety of unique seashells and shiny stones. Seeing as vibrant paintings were difficult to keep underwater, Ezekial used the pile of underwater findings as a substitute until he could find a waterproof painting to liven up his home with.

The scrap parts were carried over to a crude sculpture that resembled the outline of a human and merperson side by side. This scrappy sculpture was formed with a variety of parts found from fallen planes and sea craft from all ages. To keep the mass of junk held together, he used an underwater welding kit which like everything else in his home, was found on some sunken craft.

As he continued working on his so called masterpiece, the entrance to his door was left open as usual for others to stop by and converse or just be astounded by his collection of artifacts and other objects. Ezekial tried his best to use what he found as he is one of the biggest supporters of recycling.

Kyrai had closed down the Library-Museum a while ago, carrying a book in hand that had been salvaged years ago and preserved with a waterproof formula so to prevent any further destruction. While as being seen with at least one book or scroll wasn't uncommon, this one wasn't for her tonight. Instead this one was for her dear friend Ezekial who had a thirst for knowledge that at times rivaled her own. There had been many times she would spend hours at work looking for something upon his request to then talk about it long into the night at either of their homes. Ofcourse she was a paticular historian..only granting access to certian areas or perform searches of things for those she viewed wanting such, came with a good heart. Instincts rules the underwater kingdom most times, such helped mermaids of all kinds survive through many life treatening situations.

Ezekial's open doorway insight she smiled, swimming faster as Kyrai with her long hair free to flow behind her in the sea water. Called out to him, "greetings dear titan!" Comming just inside his home holding up the book with a smirk "I have what you need once again Ezekial... As always I hope that this day didn't bring you trouble from the other titans or trouble decided to meet with your flesh?" It was a daily saying for her, knowing exactly what his thirst for knowledge brings to him besides an inquisitive mind.

Airaion zoomed through the deep ocean aided by the currents that he was currently swimming in. His tail flicking quickly making him a blur in the ocean even to the eyes of the merpeople. He had just finished his daily training session with a few of his friend dolphins, and now he was headed to New Atlanta, to hear some tales from a friend. He did enjoy these human tales that were told to him once every week. He wasn't born when the world changed and merpeople were discovered. He wasn't there when he and his brethren were divided. Just thinking about it made his spine tingle.

Trident on his back giving off a soft warm blue glow, he surfaced now coming within range of New Atlanta's radar defenses. Airaion called to his animal friends and a large whale surfaced next to him as well as four dolphins. These guys had been his friends since he was a little child, and he never used them in a battle despite their eagerness to join one. Airaion now on the back of the whale swam just above the surface, but enough to protect his body from the sun.

Airaion searched for his friend the old storyteller, but he was nowhere to be found. So, with a smooth and graceful move; he removed the trident from his back and tapped the ground with the 3 pronged tip softly, sending a slight electric current through the ground that would be felt by everyone, but it was actually a signal for the man that told him stories.

After Adam was done with dinner, he went back out to the water, grabbing his board along the way. Ayella was there to meet, as always, and he smiled when he saw her. "I need you to go Gather a small team, Ayella," he said to her. "We are going to investigate a ship afloat a few miles out. We need to capture it, we're running short on supplies. I will leading the boarding party."

Ayella frowned at Adam. "That be dangerous, Adam. You are a tinkerer, you don't fight. We have plenty of fighters, but few with your knowledge of making devices." She paused then, before adding, "and you are my human, I do not want you in harms way. Find someone else."

Adam smiled at her, she was always so overprotective of him, ever since he was a baby and she was a small kid. "Know one else knows engines, my sisufu," he said, sisufu being mertalk for close friend. "The need me to make it go, once we take it. I will be fine, I promise."

Ayella nodded in understanding. She didn't like it, but he was right. The last human ship they captured went a long way towards building their defenses as well as learning about their technology, which Adam had a real knack for. "Very well. But if you die, I will kill you." Adam chuckled a bit as she dove under to go gather a team. After a few minutes of swimming, she reached Ezekial's home, seeing Kyrai there as well. "Zeke, Kyrai, you are needed. There is a ship a few kilometers from shore in our waters. Adam is going there, please go with him, I can trust you to look out for him."

Back at the beach, Adam noticed Airaion at the shore and paddled his board over to him. "Hi, Airaion," he said with a wave. "I am afraid there will be no time for stories tonight, everyone is preparing for a mission. There is a ship off the coast, and I am going on this mission to capture it. But there might be a sub near by waiting for us. We could use you and your friends to helps distract it so we can take the ship without out too much trouble. Will you join us?"
