Pokemon: The Kanto Crisis (OOC)

One hundred years have passed since Red conquered the region of Kanto with his comrades Blue and Green. Team Rocket has been wiped from the face of the planet and now almost every child goes out and starts their own Pokemon journey. Pokemon from regions all over the world have migrated to Kanto making it so that trainers can capture almost any Pokemon known to man.

For some reason the Pokemon of legends have completely disappeared from the world the last known sighting occurring over fifty years ago. The eight Gym Leaders are as strong as ever and serve to prepare the trainers that challenge them for the Pokemon League that occurs yearly.

Despite this appearance of peace on the surface something bad is happening in Kanto. Trainers all around are disappearing along with their Pokemon never to be seen again. Little do the people of Kanto know that Team Rocket has been united under a new leader more powerful than Giovanni. It seems they have perfected a device to turn trainers and their Pokemon into mindless puppets that will obey any command given to them.

A war is coming, will Kanto stand together united under the Gym Leaders or will they be overwhelmed by the might of this new Team Rocket?

Strengths: She has a devious mind. She and her Pokemon discovered that Gastly and Koffing can be made more dangerous by setting them on fire. The poisonous gases burn like kerosene, and their attacks gain the ability to burn opponents rather than poison them.

Weaknesses: She can become very shy when there is no one to support her in stressful situations. She usually drops any duties in favour of getting out of the accusing eye.

Personality: She is a Gothic girl, not to be confused with emo. She has an interest in dark things while maintaining a cheerful demeanour. She usually pops little quips and jokes during conversation, and she can be a little mischievous.

History: Angelina was born and raised in Ecruteak, home of the Ghost type gym. A short trip to Violet city's Sprout Tower allowed her to catch her first Pokemon, a Gastly, when she was only eight.

After that, she attained an interest in sinister Pokemon, like ghost, dark and poison. She caught a Koffing in the Burned Tower of Ecruteak, and once both Pokemon new a dark type move, she challenged the gym. She was twelve at this stage. By a stroke of luck she beat the leader and earned her first badge.

Two years later, she accompanied a group of powerful trainers to Mount Silver. The trainers battled the Pokemon along Route 28, and among those Pokemon was a Sneasel. She was sorely beaten by one of the trainer's Pokemon, but Angelina managed to catch her after the battle had ended. At the entrance of the Mount Silver cave, a similar event occurred, and Angelina caught a Misdreavus.

A year later, while Angelina and her party were battling some grass type Pokemon, she ordered Misdreavus to use Will-O-Wisp. The attack missed, but hit Gastly instead. Instantly, she erupted into a massive ball of fire. A small spark reached Koffing and he burst into flame as well. Much to Angelina's surprise, both Pokemon remained unhurt, and their poison type attacks turned into fire type attacks. Sludge, for instance, became a blob of burning muck that inflicted severe burns. The Pokemon were doused by returning to their Pokeballs, and have since then learned to use their flammable qualities to their advantage in battle.

In order to attain more badges, Angelina travelled to Kanto, where she has taken up residence.

Strengths: Ivory is a very strong individual, meaning she doesn't depend on others for things. She likes to stay isolated, aside from her pokemon. She is trustworthy and a good friend, and she'll never back down from a battle. She's very protective over her pokemon and her friend Sam.

Weaknesses: Ivory's team in unbalanced - because she is rather smitten with electric pokemon, more than half her team is electric. She has only one fire type and one dragon type while the rest are electric, putting her at a great disadvange when it comes to certain types of pokemon. She is also a sucker for cute pokemon (if you can't tell by her team). She can also be too trusting, which has gotten her into trouble more than once. She's very stubborn and can sometimes be too confident, which can lead to more trouble.

Personality: Ivory is a very smart individual who can either be very likeable or very difficult. She's saracastic but kind, and those who know her know her personality can change very quickly. She is usual very plesant, which is why many people feel like they can talk to her. Ivory is very trusting with people, though not enough to let them hold onto her pokemon. She's very outgoing and headstrong, though she can be stubborn. Sh's very confident in herself, though sometimes she can be too confident, leading to trouble for her and her pokemon (along with Sam). She's very caring and will protect those who need it, even if she doesn't know them.

Ivory is a very petite girl, reaching only five feet tall and weighing a mere one hundred and eight pounds. But despite her small frame, she has a lot of bite and is very strong. She had golden eyes and pinkish colored hair that is cut short. She has several scars on her face left from the accident with the car. She can usually be seen sporting a pair of cut-off jean shorts, a black v-neck shirt, a white beanie, and neon pink converses. She has a black napsack that she keeps all her things in. Ivory can usually be seen riding on the back of Arcanine with Raichu sitting on her head.

History: When Ivory was ten, she, like many other children her age, received her pokemon and left on her journey to become a trainer. However, before Ivory could even step foot outside the city limits of Vermillion City, the unthinkable happened - she was hit by a car. Luckily for Ivory, she suffered only a few broken ribs, a broken arm, and two broken legs, along with several oter fractures. However, the worst damage was done to her brain - when she was struck by the vehicle, her memory was erased - she remembered nothing off her past. Her parents did their best to fill in eveything they could, but there were still many things that Ivory couldn't remember.

When she turned fifteen, Ivory had many memories, though there were things she'd never recover. Her parents never dreamed of letting her leave the house, but their views changed when Ivory's uncle visited on her birthday. He brought her a pokemon - her first pokemon. It was a small Pichu. She loved the pokemon, as it was different from any other Pichu she had ever seen - instead of brown eyes it had bright blue eyes.

The two spent many months together, bonding and growing stronger, and one day, Ivory told her parents out of the blue that she wanted to go on her pokemon journey. Her parents were very hesitant at first, but they eventually agreed. So, with a small bag, five pokeballs, some money, and Pichu by her side, Ivory and Pichu set off on their journey to collect all the Gym Badges in the Kanto region.

Eventually eight months had passed, Pichu had evolved into Pikachu, and Ivory - now sixteen - had a full team of pokemon: Pikachu, Plusle, Minun, Mareep, Growlithe, and Dratini. She also had three Gym Badges, and she felt unstoppable. However, Ivory soon ran into a young man - Sam - who claimed he knew her. She had no idea who this Sam boy was and insisted he left her alone, but he refused. When Ivory explained that he may have known her once, and how she lost her memory after being hit by the car, Sam told her that he'd help her remember everything and the two teamed up, offering Ivory the first form of human company since she started her journey.

Now, several months later, Ivory is now seventeen, and she still travels with Sam, but her team has changed. Pikachu has evolved into Raichu, Growlithe evolved into Arcanine, and Dratini was now Dragonair, but Plusle, Minun, and Mareep were the same. Sam pesters her from time to time about catching more pokemon to add variety to her team, but Ivory insists that her team of pokemon is all she'll ever need. She is strengthening her team though, as things progressively get worse with the trainers and their pokemon disappearing. She and Sam work even harder to get stronger, as they refuse to be captured by whoever is causing this havoc.

Strengths: Sam's team is very well balanced, though he does lack a grass-type pokemon and an electric type (however, he and Ivory will lend each other their pokemon when the need arises). Because he has all ready finished his quest (to collect all eight badges in the Kanto Region), his team is very strong and powerful, and they're always ready for a fight. Sam is very courageous and cares deeply for his friends and pokemon.

Weaknesses: Sam's weakness is he's to cautious when it comes to his pokemon - though he knowns they're tough, he's always hesitant when it comes to getting them involved in pokemon battles because he doesn't want them to get hurt. When he battles, he sometimes forgets to listen to his pokemon - meaning that if they have a move they want to try, he may not listen and continue battling his way - it has cost his a few battles, but he's getting better about listening to them. Also, Sam tends to lack observation skills, but that's because he's blind in one eye. Sam still blames himself for Mightyena dying.

Personality: Sam is a very kind a compassionate person once you get to know him, but at first he may come off rude and uncaring. He can be hard to get along with, and he's extremely stubborn, just like Ivory - their personalities clash and the two tend to bicker a lot. He's very protective over his friends and pokemon, acting like an older brother to Ivory rather than a friend. Sam is very strategic and likes to plan out his battles before they even begin. He's a great listener once you befriend him and very trustworthy and dependable. Unlike Ivory though, Sam isn't as headstrong or outgoing, leaving those personality traits to Ivory. Instead, he is rather quiet and conservered, but not quite shy, as most people mistake him to be. He still struggles with the death of Mightyena.

Sam is an average looking guy - he's around five-foot-nine in height, weights one-hundred-eighty pounds, and is rather lanky looking, though he is pretty strong. He has shaggy black hair and dark eyes, making it impossible for someone to realize he's blind in his left eye. He wears glasses and has rather pale skin. His usual attire consists of worn jeans, a white shirt under a dark grey button-up shirt (left open), and black converses. He has a red napsack that he keeps his supplies in, and he is always seen with Umbreon and Espeon out of their pokeballs. He also carries around his egg in his arms.

History: Sam was born half blind - he was blind in his left eye. He grew up next door to Ivory in Vermillion City. Being two years older than her, Sam was always acting as if he knew anything about everything. He enjoyed the fact that Ivory in a way sort of idolized him, and as they grew older, Sam realized he had a small crush on the young girl. However, when he was ten, Ivory eight, he left Vermillion City on his pokemon journey, but Sam had an advantage over many new trainers - unlike most trainers, Sam had not one, but two starter pokemon, one female and one male Eevee. His family comes from a long line of Eevee breeders, and so he was given two of his own.

Only two years after Sam started his journey, he reached the age of twelve and he had received six badges. His team had also changed: His two Eevees had evolved into an Umbreon and Espeon, he caught a Houndor, which had evolved into Houndoom, and his Pidgey had become a Pidgeotto. Many people wondered how such a young boy could collect so many badges with only four pokemon, but Sam didn't care about what they said - he had managed to get very far with only a few pokemon.

By the time Sam was around the age of fifteen, his journey was completed - he had collected all eight badges. He had changed a lot over the course of his journey, as had his pokemon. Umberon, Espeon, and Houndoom were the same, but Pidgeotto had evolved into Pidgeot, and Sam found an injured Lapras while wandering around the coast of the Kanto Region. Naturally, he took care of the Lapras, but when he tried to set it free, it appeared as if the Lapras wanted to stay with him, and so Sam added Lapras to the team. He also had a Mightyena on his team at the time.

With his quest now fulfilled, Sam began wandering home. Though the trip back didn't go very smoothly. As he was walking through Saffron City late one night, Umbreon and Espeon by his side, he was stopped by a group of men who wanted to steal all his pokemon, badges, and other belongings. Of course, Sam wasn't going to let this happen, and so the gorup of thugs and Sam began battling. The fight was difficult with only six pokemon against ten, but Sam's team managed to pull through. However, the lead thug refused to accept defeat and lunged at Sam with a knife in his hand. Houndoom tackled Sam out of the way, but the thug's knife caught Sam in the arm, leaving a fairly deep cut. After that, it was mostly a blur for Sam, and the next thing he knew, he was in the hospital, stitches in his arm.

After that, Sam decided not to return home, but instead travel to the Indigo League. He then participated in the Indigo League and made it to the top two, but he lost after his opponents Electabuzz took out his Lapras. Thrilled that he had gotten so far in the Indigo League, Sam decided to head to the Johto Region and collect the badges there.

By the time Sam returned to the Kanto Region, he was nineteen, and his team had shrunk - while in the Johto Region, Mightyena fell ill to some type of virus and died, leaving his team and trainer with heavy hearts and tearful eyes. As Sam returned home, feeling no need to continue his journey now that one of his pokemon had passed, he ran into someone familiar - Ivory. He knew it was her, as there was no way anyone could mistake that hair and those eyes. However, Ivory didn't remember Sam. When she explained how her memory was erased after being struck by a vehicle, Sam promised her that he would help her remember him (though she still has no memory of him). So now Sam travels with Ivory, helping her along the way. Sam also received an egg from an elderly woman while he traveled with Ivory, and he now anxiously awaits the day it will hatch.

Personality: Oliver is a very harsh and cold individual who can be a bit arrogant and cocky. He doesn't get along well with others, though he does respect those who out rank him. He enjoys taunting young, inexperienced trainers, and gets quite a kick out of their reactions when he captures their pokemon. Despite his rather rude attitude, Oliver cares deeply for his pokemon, and will do whatever it takes to keep them safe.

Strengths: Laura is the type to pick a team and stick with them. This loyalty has allowed her to know the strengths and weaknesses or her pokemon very well. She won't back down in battle. She is independent and persistent. She places great trust in her Pokemon and her friends alike.

Weaknesses: Laura is attached to her team. She refuses to switch out her pokemon based on the situation. Though her stubborn, persistent attitude can be a positive thing in many situations, there are others where it can get her into a world of trouble. Her pokemon are all still on their first evolution. Though she has two badges, her pokemon are not incredibly powerful as they are not at a particularly high level.

Personality: Laura is frank and to the point. She isn't one for jokes. In fact, they are lost on her. Being task-oriented, she gives the appearance of being cold. However, deep down she really does care about her friends and pokemon. She has a hard time showing it. Those close to her know this. If her friends are in trouble, she will do everything she can to help.

Spoiler: Laura 

History: Laura grew up in Viridian city. With the pokemon league practically next door and the famous Professor Oak in the neighboring town, pokemon played an important roll in her life from the very start. Her mother was a nurse at the local pokemon center and her father worked at the pokemon mart. As such, they weren't particularly rich. Still, they had enough. Her mother and father weren't often home as their jobs kept them busy. She was taken care of by the family Chansey.

Like most kids, she received her first pokemon at the age of ten. This was her beloved Growlithe, whom she had named Lithe. After receiving her, she entered the pokemon academy where she learned the ins and outs of battling. There, she was given her Oddish as a graduation present. With her two new best friends at her side, she set off on her pokemon journey at last.

She didn't challenge the gyms at first, instead opting to travel around and build up her team. She wasn't interested in catching every pokemon she came across. Instead, she picked those who were drawn to her and she to them. It was these pokemon that she saw the most potential to thrive alongside her. Finally, a year after leaving the academy, her team was complete. Having no more reason to catch pokemon, she turned her sights on training.

A year later, her pokemon are stronger and she has two badges to show for it. She's on her way to train her pokemon stronger and become a pokemon champion. She has a long way to go, but she's determined to make it.

Weaknesses: Egomaniacal to say the least, as well as very eccentric compared to most Team members. He’s also a perfectionist, which leads to many plans not gone through with because they weren’t executed correctly.

History: Since he was a boy, Judas has always had a violent streak a mile wide. Even before he had a Pokemon, picking fights with other kids was his favorite thing to do, especially when he won. As he grew older and began to train Pokemon, Judas became a little darker in his violent streak. He drove his Pokemon to impossible lengths to best other Trainers, until he came across Team Rocket for the first time. The Team recruited him at the age of 17, where he rose to the rank of Executive before he was 20. Personality: Ricky is a very kind person always treating his Pokemon with love and compassion. He hates to see other people treat Pokemon poorly and to hear that they were used for evil purposes. Because of this he always tries to create a tight bond with the Pokemon that he calls his own and picks their names based on what he thinks they would like.

Strengths: Some say she has psychic abilities, but the truth is that Shae has strong intuition and perception, which makes her a fierce competitor in battle. Weaknesses: As a pokemon specialist, Shae's team consists of dark and psychic types. This can prove a problem in some battle situations. She can't open up easily, which usually proves to be a social weakness. She's also afraid of thunder/lightning. (Pokemon moves, as well as natural)

Personality: Shae walks, talks, and lives in mystery. She has a strange way of perceiving and reading people, which many find to be intrusive, and so she shies away when confronted in social situations. When challenged to a battle, she plays mind games with her opponents. Shae has a tendency to say strange sentences such as "Did you know a battle is often decided as soon as Trainers exchange their first words?" She is knowledgeable, but often times no one wants to hear her lecture. She can seem condescending to many people, but her approach to love and friendship is "tough love". She will not coddle you, but she will give you what you need to become stronger.

History: To be the leader of the Saffron City Gym, leaders have to prove their abilities as psychics. This teaching, passed down from gym leader to gym leader, was what set Shae on her fateful path as a young girl. Her parents, fearing their daughter could somehow lose control of herself, and scared of how much she knew about what they were thinking, enrolled her as an apprentice in the Saffron Gym at an early age. Shae learned that while some people did have a sensitive sixth sense, not all of Saffron Gym's training particularly required the gift. She learned that they were about honing your mind and mental state, and that her talents lay in perception: she could read facial and body language with master skill and thus could predict situations.

After a while, she took up life as a trainer and gathered her badges while also studying lore and science and anything that fascinated her.

When she returned, Shae took up her position as Saffron's Gym leader, although she still enjoys traveling and often leaves apprentices in her place to accept challengers. She found she usually crushed the spirits of the trainers who challenged her anyways...

Strengths: Zephyr loves electric type pokemon, and enjoys raising them. He also has a soft spot for pokemon he feels are cute-looking. He really enjoys finding dopey-looking pokemon like Psyduck and Slowpoke. Zephyr likes reading the situation and responding to it. He prefers strategy over raw power.

Weaknesses: He doesn't enjoy water-types. Gyrados frightens him beyond belief. Zephyr can also be a bit clumsy at times, tripping, seamlessly over nothing. Zephyr has a bad habit of falling asleep in the middle of roads sometimes.

Personality: Zephyr is a nice enough guy. He will willingly stop and chat if you were to engage him in conversation. He enjoys battles, as a test of skill.

Appearance: Zephyr is of average height and build. He has medium cut blonde hair. His dress style is usually casual, but he dresses up for contests, should one be in town where he is- not that he goes out of his way to be in them.

History: Zephyr's father, Orrin, was a respected Coordinator back in his day, and his (Zephyr's, not Orrin's) mother, Karyn, was a great trainer. The two met after a Contest in Viridian City was held Karyn had just returned from an overseas journey and happened to catch the last few rounds of the contest. She had no skill of her own, as a coordinator, but she liked watching. After Orrin won the contest, the two met, and ten years later they gave birth to Zephyr. Zephyr grew up around Pokémon, and respected them. His fear of water types, is unknown. When Zephyr was young his father gave him a special pokémon egg, and told him that if he could care for it, he could have the pokémon that hatched. Zephyr toiled for some time keeping the egg in pristine and healthy condition when it finally hatched. This was the first Pokémon he ever received. A Pichu, which he named Jolt. When it came time for Zephyr to leave the nest, so to speak, Jolt had evolved into a pikachu, and their adventure had taken them to the Pewter Gym. Zephyr had encountered Vinn, his Joltik while exploring the Viridian Forest, and he happened upon Pastel as it was wandering the streets of cerulean city, clearly hungry and looking for a meal. Quill was obtained some time before Zephyr went to challenge the Vermilion City Gym. After a hefty loss the first time around, Quill stopped trusting Zephyr, and became rather truant. J-Bird was a recent addition to the team. No one is sure where it came from, all Zephyr can remember is that he found its pokéball lying on the road with a note: "Please take care of me." Written in the script of the Unown.

Strengths: Kalde Loves using the Watery field of the Cerulean Gym to her advantage. Her pokemon love to swim, so they are more agile in the water.

Weaknesses: While her pokemon are more agile in water, they are more at risk for electric attacks. Kalde also has a bad habit of being confused easily.

Personality: Kalde is kind of an air-head. She is a sweet girl, but she isn't the brightest bulb in the bunch...unless she's battling. She will get very serious, and knowledgeable. She loves testing trainers, and seeing what they're made of. If she loses a match, she could not be more pleased. It means that the trainer has real skill and will do well. That's not to say she enjoys being beat, but she's accepted that that is her role as a Gym Leader- To make sure trainers get stronger by awarding those that best her the Cascade Badge.

Appearance: Kalde is a short 5' tall. While in her Gym uniform, he has a tropical feel to her. Her bronzed skin, and black hair are hi-lighted by a red and white floral-print bikini and tropical sash covering her waist. Outside the gym, her style of dress is pretty casual. Jeans, sneakers, and a tank-top or hoodie, depending on the season. If it's winter she will have a t-shirt, hoodie, and jacket on.

History: Kalde was bron in Vermillion City, but her parents moved to Cerulean when she was 13. She soon after took on an apprenticeship at the Cerulean Gym, under the tutelage of the former Gym Leader, Gysa. When he retired, he offered Kalde the title of Gym leader. She agreed, and they had a battle to see if she was ready. It is unclear if the rumors of the battle are true, but the most well known one, is that the battle lasted three days. Kalde doesn't comment on the rumors, but she says "use your brain when hearing those rumors."

Personality: He is... well if you know how Gai sensei is it's like that. If you don't I'll give you an explination. Tidus is always telling people to train more, and to apreciate their youth. He is consantly trying to challange people to battles, and will even get in a fist fight. He can get kinda down if you start calling him old and such.

Appearance: Ironically he looks like Kakashi.

History: Tidus was a gifted trainer as a kid and was always pushing himself to be better. He was a gifted fighter himself, and would get in brawls with trainers who insulted him or his pokemon. Tidus had made a practice of staying outside the Vermilion Gym and not letting anyone in unless they beat him. He got to fight many good trainers because of this.

Once he had gone on his trainer's journey, and had gotten all eight badges he challanged the pokemon leauge. He was nocked out in the third round because someone matched up their supper effective ypes on him. Once he had lost that way he left the world of Gym battles and started training his pokemo against there weaknesses. They haven't developed any resistance to it though they can dodge it with ease knowing how the types of attacks work.

Now Tidus has become a guide for trainers on their way to the pokemon leauge and does very well at it. He has currently finished mentoring a boy who went by Red, and is looking for a new student. While he is searching he spends every day training, both himself and his pokemon. His favorite exercise is to meditate under a water fall.

Personality: Itachi is a goofy old man and loves messing with people. Luckly so do his pokemon. He is always trying to make fun of people's bad points and even laughing at his own. He is a very short old man with a long beard, and no hair ontop of his head. He loves flying on his Golurk's back due to it's rare obility to fly while being a ground type. He is pretty fit for an old man, and has many a stratgey for his pokemon.

He get's completly diffrent when in a fight. He hunkers down and kicks butt. He does not give orders to his pokemon aloud, he uses telepathic connection he has developed with them. He typically wins the first time he is challanged, to truly asses the trainers skills. He will sometimes give the win to you when he wins, if you fought well and with heart. If you have to fight him twice you wont get the chance he never battles someone twice.

Strengths: Ivory is a very strong individual, meaning she doesn't depend on others for things. She likes to stay isolated, aside from her pokemon. She is trustworthy and a good friend, and she'll never back down from a battle. She's very protective over her pokemon and her friend Sam.

Weaknesses: Ivory's team in unbalanced - because she is rather smitten with electric pokemon, more than half her team is electric. She has only one fire type and one dragon type while the rest are electric, putting her at a great disadvange when it comes to certain types of pokemon. She is also a sucker for cute pokemon (if you can't tell by her team). She can also be too trusting, which has gotten her into trouble more than once. She's very stubborn and can sometimes be too confident, which can lead to more trouble.

Personality: Ivory is a very smart individual who can either be very likeable or very difficult. She's saracastic but kind, and those who know her know her personality can change very quickly. She is usual very plesant, which is why many people feel like they can talk to her. Ivory is very trusting with people, though not enough to let them hold onto her pokemon. She's very outgoing and headstrong, though she can be stubborn. Sh's very confident in herself, though sometimes she can be too confident, leading to trouble for her and her pokemon (along with Sam). She's very caring and will protect those who need it, even if she doesn't know them.

Ivory is a very petite girl, reaching only five feet tall and weighing a mere one hundred and eight pounds. But despite her small frame, she has a lot of bite and is very strong. She had golden eyes and pinkish colored hair that is cut short. She has several scars on her face left from the accident with the car. She can usually be seen sporting a pair of cut-off jean shorts, a black v-neck shirt, a white beanie, and neon pink converses. She has a black napsack that she keeps all her things in. Ivory can usually be seen riding on the back of Arcanine with Raichu sitting on her head.

History: When Ivory was ten, she, like many other children her age, received her pokemon and left on her journey to become a trainer. However, before Ivory could even step foot outside the city limits of Vermillion City, the unthinkable happened - she was hit by a car. Luckily for Ivory, she suffered only a few broken ribs, a broken arm, and two broken legs, along with several oter fractures. However, the worst damage was done to her brain - when she was struck by the vehicle, her memory was erased - she remembered nothing off her past. Her parents did their best to fill in eveything they could, but there were still many things that Ivory couldn't remember.

When she turned fifteen, Ivory had many memories, though there were things she'd never recover. Her parents never dreamed of letting her leave the house, but their views changed when Ivory's uncle visited on her birthday. He brought her a pokemon - her first pokemon. It was a small Pichu. She loved the pokemon, as it was different from any other Pichu she had ever seen - instead of brown eyes it had bright blue eyes.

The two spent many months together, bonding and growing stronger, and one day, Ivory told her parents out of the blue that she wanted to go on her pokemon journey. Her parents were very hesitant at first, but they eventually agreed. So, with a small bag, five pokeballs, some money, and Pichu by her side, Ivory and Pichu set off on their journey to collect all the Gym Badges in the Kanto region.

Eventually eight months had passed, Pichu had evolved into Pikachu, and Ivory - now sixteen - had a full team of pokemon: Pikachu, Plusle, Minun, Mareep, Growlithe, and Dratini. She also had three Gym Badges, and she felt unstoppable. However, Ivory soon ran into a young man - Sam - who claimed he knew her. She had no idea who this Sam boy was and insisted he left her alone, but he refused. When Ivory explained that he may have known her once, and how she lost her memory after being hit by the car, Sam told her that he'd help her remember everything and the two teamed up, offering Ivory the first form of human company since she started her journey.

Now, several months later, Ivory is now seventeen, and she still travels with Sam, but her team has changed. Pikachu has evolved into Raichu, Growlithe evolved into Arcanine, and Dratini was now Dragonair, but Plusle, Minun, and Mareep were the same. Sam pesters her from time to time about catching more pokemon to add variety to her team, but Ivory insists that her team of pokemon is all she'll ever need. She is strengthening her team though, as things progressively get worse with the trainers and their pokemon disappearing. She and Sam work even harder to get stronger, as they refuse to be captured by whoever is causing this havoc.
