It`s about a week after Sarah witnessed the death of a guardian angel. Alexander has been protecting her fiercely, because now that she knows, she`ll never have a normal life. She`s being tracked and hunted down, the demons will never cease to try and kill her. They`ll kill anything in their path to get to her, anything.
She had to move from her comfy home in the Adirondacks in Upstate New York to somewhere a little more miserable. Canada ( No offense Canadians! xD ). Alexander has been assigned as her new guardian angel and to better protect her, he`s even enrolled into her new school. Sarah is about to have one of the worst school years of her life. And maybe even the last...
"Goooooooood morning Ottawa!" The overly happy news man chirped. "The temperature for today is a whopping negative five degree Celsius!" He laughed and another female chuckle could be heard in the background, "That`s right, Tom! And you folks at home should be sure to take out the snow blowers and clear your driveways before you head off to work today, we got a total of five inches of snow last night." The female voice exclaimed. "Wow Eileen, that`s--!
Sarah couldn`t take hearing their overly excited, annoying voices any more. She sat up in bed and practically crushed the alarm clock under her fist. She groaned and fell back onto her pillow willing the clock to turn backwards and give her another four hours to sleep. Ever since that day in the clearing, she hasn`t been able to sleep much. Whether it was because of the fact that she was being hunted down by a bunch of demons, or she was being protected by an insanely hot guardian angel who liked to sneak up on her at the most random times, she wasn`t sure. She finally rolled out of bed and quickly took a shower and got dressed. She left her wet hair down as she took the stairs down two at a time and set herself at the table eating a quick breakfast her mother made her.
"Alex coming over this morning to pick you up?" Jacqueline Fenton asked over her shoulder, eying her daughter carefully. Sarah spoke around a bite of bagel, "I told you Ma, he doesn`t like being called that." Jackie shrugged her shoulders and returned to making herself a bowl of cereal. When she finished, she sighed and sat across from Sarah. "I`m just a little nervous about you spending so much time with him, that`s all sweetie." She said smiling slightly. Sarah groaned and rolled her eyes, "Mom!" She complained, "It`s not like we`re dating! I told you, we`re just friends." Sarah stared her mother down making sure she got the message and Jackie held up her hands in mock surrender, "Alright, alright I get it! Butt out." She chuckled and shook her head. Sarah smiled a bit and stood up setting her plate in the sink. She chugged the last of her iced tea and rinsed the dishes setting them in the dishwasher.
"Yell up to me when he gets here, please and thank you!" She called back to her mother as she started up the stairs again. She stepped into her bathroom and stared in the mirror for a minute before sighing heavily and working on her hair, combing it into something manageable and then throwing it into a neat pony tail. She stepped back into her room and paused for a minute, she felt her pocket for her phone, but it wasn`t there. She went to her bedside table and still couldn`t find it. "Odd." She mumbled under her breath. Quickly taking another look around, she stood in the middle of her room, "Huh..." She said softly to herself...
