The Prince of Askard waited outside of the forest for the remaining of his troops withdrawing from the forest. While observing his forces, he noticed a scout running towards him, he guards held their weapons ready to attack if any tricky sneaky attack was to be made. When the scout got closer, he got to his knee and bowed to the Prince. "My Lord, General Koh'van of the 4th Regiment has been captured by an Elven scout ambush. party." The guards looked at the Prince, "Will we attempt a rescue party?" One guard asked. Shaking his head, and looks among the woods. "There is nothing we can do but pray for his survival."

Prince Lekain looks to the scout, "What of his forces?" The scout bows his head, "I was told to scout ahead to look for your unit my Lord." Nodding his head, "Very well, for now you and your troops are with me, go back and inform them we will be waiting here on the outskirts of the woods." The scout bows his head and returns to his unit. One of the guards next to him and asks, "My Lord, what of the remaining troops here?" The Prince looks to him, "There are a total of One hundred and Twenty thousand Troops here along with Three great Generals, and we have another One hundred thousand back in Askard." He gives a small sigh, "My father's vengeance will not rest until Damascus burns to the ground." He looks to the woods, waiting for General Koh'vans troops to arrive.

    **King Caleb's army encampment**

The Champions walked among their fellow soldiers, each soldier preparing for the up coming battle. Other soldiers were preparing their final moments such as drinking ale and cheering. Cross looked around and admire such force, Saleen was amazed at their effort of building such a fine army. "How many have shown?" Saleen had wondered, "From what I been hearing, Eighty Thousand, and more are still coming." Cross answered.

A servant had found the Champions, bowing down to the Champions and addresses them. "Champions of Damascus, My Lord. King Caleb has requested your presence to his camp." Cross looks at Saleen, "Already? Must be that time to discuss battle strategy." Saleen nods her head and looks to Amara, "Thank you Amara, tell King Caleb we will meet him shortly." They bow their heads to her.

The Champions continued their walk through the army camp, they found several armories and blacksmith's showing their greatest work of weapons and armor. After a admiring such skill, they bumped into they had not seen for quite some time. "The Champions of Damascus, by the gods it is good to see you both such in good health." Captain Crone bowed his head, the Champions caught in surprise, "Captain Crone! It has been a while since the Rebellion Wars." Saleen was over filled with joy.

The Captain gives a small laugh, "Good old days if you ask me, I can still smell the Ogres corpses rotting away." he laughs some more, "So the war brought you in as well?" Cross asked, "Do not worry about my age, I can still fight a troll and collects it's skull as my trophy." Saleen gives a big smile, "Captain, how is your wife?" Crone smiles, "She is well, I even brought my son to this camp, and do not worry, I have brought many troops I can for this fight. With the Dragoons on the Offensive side, we're still playing Defense. I am not sure how long a thousand men can fend off Five thousand Dragoons." Cross places his hand on his shoulder, "Fear not, for we will strike back."

They bid each other fare well and the Champions continued their walk. Once they arrived to the King's tent, they entered inside. "King Caleb! Such a wonderful army have arrived to see their King to save our country." Saleen bows down to her knee, and Cross bows his head, "My King, we the Champions of Damascus are here to give what support we can." Saleen raises her head and smiles.

    **Palace of Keiron**

The young prince of Keiron growled to himself as he walked back and forth, pondering to himself. His fingers tapping each other, feeling nervous. A royal guard appeared in his chambers with a large pouch, inside was gold and jewelry. 5 more royal guards appeared as well behind the new Captain of the Guard. "My young prince, we must take our leave now if you wish to meet at the drop point." The prince glares at the Captain and takes the pouch, "Don't think I am stupid Sorge. I know what I am doing." The Captain bows his head, "I apologize, forgive me." The princes scoffs, "So your stupidity can continue? Lets go." Following the Prince the royal stables, the prince and his guard mounted on white colored horses and rode out from the palace, through the city and to the forest.

    **Somewhere in the forest**

Koh'van wanders around the forest, looking for the Elf that had beaten her in a fight. The woods became barely to see knowing it was going to be dark soon, she continued walking through the forest. After a while, she just now realized she was lost. She continued to walk further, after what looked like hours, she begins to see a bright red light. She investigates the light, walking quietly, she found a small campfire. Observing around the campfire, she spots several humans. She recognized them as mercenaries because the way they talked and wore their armor.

Mercenary 1: "How much longer must we stay here?"

Mercenary 2: "Stop complaining like a girl."

Mercenary Leader: "Shut it both of you."

The Leader spoke out to both of them as he came out of his tent. Then they heard galloping coming from the north. Standing up to their feet, they waited. Koh'van watched as the approaching riders arrived. She watched as the one leading looked barely 15 years old. Very curious she spies and eaves drop on their conversation.

"I have brought your payment." The Prince tosses the large pouch to their leaders feet. The leader picks up the pouch and gives it to his men, "Stash it, and we'll recover the rest later." The prince was about to turn his horse around, "Oh and one more question before I take that Oath of Silence of dead man's treasure." The guards did not like the sound of his voice, they gripped to their swords if the mercenaries had tried anything.

"What is it?" The prince replied with annoyance. The leader clears his throat, "Months ago, you gave me a large payment to kill a prince, but instead of the prince, why not the King? Surely it would be more tragic." The Prince gives a small growl, "Because I want both Damascus and Askard to rip each others throat, and when they finish off each other and with no army to defend them, I will strike both with my army and with the Ogres help, we will rule this world." He chuckles with a large grin. "Ogres? So your saying you have Ogres aiding your wars?"

The Prince laughs even more, "Precisely! I have struck a deal with their leader who wants to see Damascus in flames and Askard in ruin, so far they are in the woods now, ready to ambush that Dragoon army who have dared to enter our woods. Once that army is dealt with, they will return to our city and help me claim Keiron as my own." The Mercenary leader was in somewhat, little impressed, "Well then, I shall leave your woods." The leader walks to his tent, then they heard a small twig snapped.

Koh'van stepped in a little too close, once she heard the twigs snapped, she quickly runs through the woods. "Jacinto! Rakio!" The mercenary called out and the two begin chase. The Prince and his men quickly retreated back to Keiron, pushing their horses to the limit of their speed.

Koh'van using her speed to out run the two chasers. She looks behind her, the two were on foot and were human. She used her advantage by flapping her wings, normally she would use her wings, but with the forest filled with archers, they feared they would be shot down. She raises from the ground and flies through the branches of each tree, but there was a sound. She looked behind her once more and saw a flying object coming towards her. A rope with ropes attached wrapped around her wings, she was forced to the ground. Landing harshly she was badly wounded again, she looked at her wound.

Looked like an arrow had pierced through her leg. She looks up, the two mercenaries arrived with their swords drawn. "Do we have permission to terminate?" One mercenary asked, "I do not know, lets bring her back to the camp, and see what Diego wants with her." The other laughed and grabbed her arms and bind her with restraints.

After gathering his few earthly possessions Nicolas began a light jog towards the edge of the forest. As he ran, he began to watch and listen to the forest around him. Slowly he was becoming the hunter and prince that he was meant to be. No more hiding, if I am to unite the world and outwit my brother, I must do it as myself. Suddenly a Royal Guard jumped out of the forest in front of him. As he reached for his weapons the guard began to speak quickly.
"Nicolas, I knew you were not dead. I knew your foul playing mother made that rumor up. Your father still searches for you." The elf looked around, then continued "Run towards Damascus, look for Dragonsbanes army, and tell him of the situation in Keiron. This great forest has become corrupt with powerhungry elves."
Speaking sharply Nicolas said, “Do not speak of my mother that way guard, it is my brother who is really in control!” Then switching to a more friendly tone he continued, "It is also good to hear that my father has not given up or been brainwashed as of yet. But I must know, Who are you friend or foe guard? And what is your name for you have the advantage of me.”

Airaion listened to the lost princes' words of his brothers foul play and nodded. "Forgive me your majesty,I had no idea that your brother would betray his own people. I was wrong to suspect badly of the Queen." He bowed his head ashamed but quickly rose it to answer the question Nicolas had just asked "I am Airaion Vannae, former Captain of her majesty, the Queens guard. I left her service shortly after you disappeared sensing the corruption in the capital. However, you must travel quickly to the borders of Damascus. I have heard rumors of King Caleb having an army preparing for battle. I will find you at the border, I have business in this forest first."

Airaion left before the prince had another chance to say anything, sensing something was amiss in the forest, he searched for the woman he had saved, unable to find her tracks anywhere. He had begun to panic before he heard the talk of three men, seemingly deciding what to do with a captured prisoner. He pulled his bow out once more and strung three arrows on the string, pulling back in one graceful movement and released. Three arrows came flying out of the darkness of the trees striking the mercenaries in the shoulder. Effectively crippling their ability to raise their arms. He stepped from the shadows with elven blades drawn and spoke in three deadly words, that were filled with such malevolence that even the dragons would cringe in fear "Let.Her.Go."

While awaiting their answer, he was analyzing the shadows around him, scanning the area for mercenary reinforcements. This was beginning to anger him severly, so many foul creatures in the once fair forest of Keiron. So much treachery in a land of peace. This world was turning inside out, it was a bad time to be alive for anyone in the three kingdoms.

    **Caleb**

"King Caleb! Such a wonderful army have arrived to see their King to save our country." Caleb smiled as he looked up from his map of the three territories. "Ah, my champions have returned to me at last",He strode up to them and one by one gave them a hug of friendship. He returned to the table with the map of the three territories on it and said all hints of amusement gone from his voice "I have reports that our lines are faltering on the borders. We need to send four battallions of infantry and a company of archers to the border immediately. As for Keiron, I have heard nothing of them, nor anything from their people. We must assume they have been destroyed and look to our own borders."

He looked up from the map and paced the length of the command tent. He was troubled as of late, no word had come from Keiron, their closest neighbors. He feared the worst for them. He then turned to his Champions "We need begin our march on Askard at once. Though, i feel strange about this entire thing, almost like we're being set...." His voice trailed off before he finished his sentence. He sat down in a chair and spoke softly "Almost like we're being set up." He looked up to his champions and said "Surely, you must have heard some message from Keiron. The elves are a tricky people, they cannot be easily beaten."

Caleb was most troubled, if Keiron was out of the fight, then it would be Damascus and Askard that would fall into ruin fighting each other. He knew in his gut that this was a set up, but he had no choice, his people believed in him, and he would defend them all with his very life. "Ready the Dragonsguard (Damascan Army), We willl march on Askard tomorrow."

Koh'van watched as the three men were struck by arrows. She looks up and sees the Elf who returned for her. Feeling something deep inside, she revealed tears. The three mercenaries slowly moved away, "The Prince of Keiron will not like this sir." The leader glares at him, "Shut up you moron." Koh'van quickly gets up and wipes her tears, "Tell us everything of what happened that day, she kept her back towards the three mercenaries. "No." The leader replied.

Koh'van turns around and grabs the mercenary by his neck, slowly twisting the arrow in his shoulder, the other two stayed back. "Tell me now!" She screams at her face, growling in pain the mercenary leader falls to his knees. She lets go and draws the leaders sword out of his sheath, pointing at the other two. "Maybe you will have better luck than I Elf." She looks over her shoulder, "I'll watch these two."

    **King's Caleb Camp**

"Milord, we had heard nothing from Keiron, not since their frontier has been over-run, they must be defending the woods from any further destruction." Cross looks to Saleen, nodding in agreement, "Our spy in Keiron sent us a message before our departure." Saleen pulls a scroll out from her side.

"Small towns and villages have been destroyed, women and children been slaughtered. The Prince of Askard has retreated his troops from the forest. 100,000 Dragoon forces still remain in the forest. Little resistance still fighting. No word from Keiron's Palace, or reinforcements."

Rolling the scroll and handing it to the King. "That report was several days old, we told our spy to keep informing us for any further information." Saleen hears a small flapping noise, a guards walks in with a hawk on his arm, he kneels to Saleen, petting the hawk and hand feeds the bird, she looks to where a small leather wrap around its leg. She finds a small letter, usually it would be emergencies, and this must be one. She reads it, from what she reads, her smile fades away. She looks to the king. "100,000 Dragoon forces have been destroyed." Cross looks to Saleen then to the king.

"If that is the case, Askard should be weak to attack." Cross smiles, "Of course my lord, the Dragonsguard will be ready." He bows and leaves the tent, Saleen follows quickly.

Hook grinned as he made his way throughout the tower quickly. Using all four of his limbs in a way that made him out to be more beast-like. The added scraping of his hooks against the old stones added to this affect. Within the dim light of the tower, Hook hardly broke pace as darkness slowly encased the rooms. Finally reaching the point he was aiming for, he leaped as high as he could. Though unaided none could truly hold onto the ledge, Hook's namesakes were perfect. Latching onto the ledge as his fingers, a hair away from grabbing on, Hook avoided falling down a level and onto the stone steps below.

Swinging carefully, he managed to grab the top, and scrambling up quickly as he heard his pursuer catching up. Rolling into his home Hook tilted his head over the meager belongings. Never had he have so many amusing trinkets and small bits of food. In the middle of the room a blanket marked where he slept, rolling his shoulders he gently placed another trinket down before he sat by the ledge. Watching the woman contemplate the jump. A both risky, and ridiculously difficult leap. "So, we are at an impasse now then? I cannot escape, and you cannot follow easily." He grinned, but then his face turned more serious. "You spoke of wanting me to listen then?"

Struggling with the jump, she had no idea of she could make it or not. She laughs as she watches Hook stand by the edge, watching. Shaking her head, how he managed to jump and climb that high was impossible, even for her. She looked up and listened what he was saying.

"So, we are at an impasse now then? I cannot escape, and you cannot follow easily." He grinned, but then his face turned more serious. "You spoke of wanting me to listen then?"

Nodding her head, "Aye, I do." She was catching her breath for a second. She sits on the edge, and wipes away the dirt on her pants. "You made a quite a chase for ya." Clapping her hands, applauding his performance. "I have a proposal actually." She gets back up and looks towards him, "Are you interest in wars?" She asked.

Hook scratched his head, studying her as he contemplated her words. "To be honest, wars are petty things then. Senseless bickering turned to senseless violence. To lie, I am very interested in money made and taken, but to be honest." He paused, taking a moment to find the right words. "But to be honest," he repeated, "I care only for the find, and the chase. Prizes mean nothing to me. I am a wild spirit, whose only wish is to run with the wind and from imprisonment." He stated, tossing down one of his random trinkets. A wooden bird of sorts. "Wars mean little to me then. So no, I am not interested, nor shall I be. Take your leave or take my blood, I am finished with this." He stated, before disappearing from her sight and away from the ledge.

Glancing over to a hole in the building where he kept a long rope just in case he thought about his escape. While it was unlikely the woman could reach, it was also unlikely he could leave the other way easily. Always a fall-back plan then. He thought, or rather, remembered the thought as it was the exact thing that had ran by his head when he had put the rope there.

Holding a pouch filled with gold coins and jewelry, she tosses it up to the edge where it can land. "They're not paying us to kill, they're paying us for information." She nods her head to the side, "Eh technically spies. But my point is, would you rather spend your time in prison? Or would you rather spend it by swimming in gold?" She laughs and sits back on the edge and lays on her back, "And believe me, they aren't cheap either. They pay any price what you ask."

Laying on the edge, with her hands behind her head, she still waits for another answer, and she wasn't leaving, despite she couldn't make the jump, but there were alternatives. One she could easily turned in this guy because the of the large bounty on his head, or she could make the jump herself. "Look, I know you got a large bounty on her head, but the King of Damascus can pardon anyone. If you play your're cards right that is." She gets back up and digs in her pocket, "Where is it.....crap." She looks up "Dammit you little thief! How dare you steal my pocket watch!" She growls.

Hook peeked his head over the ledge. "Hmm? Steal? When?" He asked. "As I was running or as I was jumping? OR! As I was running and jumping. Or perhaps when I darted ahead of you the first to second time." He rolled over the possibilities of when he could have had the chance to steal something of hers. "Oh I know! I stole it while I was standing on top of his difficult to reach ledge, and you were speaking of pardoning and silly people named King." He grinned now, taking one of his hook blades. "Let us face the facts, your option is to tell of my whereabouts or to make this jump and finally catch me." He spoke in a clear voice. "Yet of my reputation which no doubt led you to seek me out, I am made out to never have been caught have I not?" He paused here, and kicked the money the hunter had tossed to his ledge down the hole directly underneath them. (stated before actually.)

"And this little gap here makes it rather nerve racking to miss.. especially when one on this side does not wish another to reach aye?" He sat down, his face mocking that of a cold bounty hunter. "You do not understand what an impasse means do you?" He asked. "I may leave any time I wish. Slip you by and be on my way. Perhaps without you even knowing, perhaps you would. But in all respects, my next hand in this game of cards trumps many a sets. Does yours?" He asked, before vanishing off behind the ledge again. A moment later a card floated gently down on it's face. A wild card of sorts, one often used in gambling. On the back it says "By the time you understand this riddle, the tricksters feet shall meet the base of the hill."

Hook sat quietly at the top of the tower. Pondering over how long the meaning of the word trickster would idly sit in the woman's head before she figures out his ruse. A pardon from the King of this land then. All for simply work of gathering information, and perhaps stealing documents. He sighed a little, looking up at the clouds gathering. It hardly rains here now a days. The land has lost ambition to cry. He thought, as he slipped out of sight from all around the tower.
    Spoiler: Something random.

To every person there is a story. From the dullest farmer, to the most bloodthirsty warrior. Criminal masterminds and political geniuses. Realms of the First Gate Will show these stories from front to back. Wither the story takes us to the dark alleys of underworld politics or raising a weapon to face off an undead horde. You know you want to be the one turning stories into legends.

Anxious about getting her pocket watch back, she watched the pouch of coin fall down. She laughs for a bit, "Guess you're not the paying short eh?" She wipes her chin, "Fine by me." She turns takes a few steps, after being patronized by the thief. She mocks him by moving her lips and rolling her eyes. "And my card shall be the leap of faith."

She turns around and dashes towards the edge of the tower, running full speed, she jumps for the edge. Using her two daggers to latch onto the wall, she managed cling on the wall, but didn't make it for the edge.

Grunting as she used the daggers to climb up the wall, it seemed like hours when she finally got up to the edge. Peeking over, and getting up. She gives a heavy sigh and breaths for air. "You're a really hard man to please." She moves her back and side to side, "That was a rough ride." She looks at the thief, "OK, I'll make you a deal." She clears her throat. "How about I challenge you to a riddle game, and if you answer correctly, I'll leave you alone, and if you don't, well." She laughs, "Guess we got another member for our little clan."
