A young red-headed female was reported missing by her legal guardians, Robert and Patricia O'Reiley. The last time they had seen her was before she left for a friend's graduation party, which was four days ago.

The young red-headed female, who went by the name of Angela, was found this morning hidden away in a closet in the basement of her own home, dead. She was murdered. But by who?
October 21st, 2011
The questioning begins.
"Who was Angela Elizabeth O'Reiley really? You're her only sister, her best friend. You must know her like the back of your hand." He leaned forward, his hands clasped together and his bare elbows pushed against the cool hard metallic surface.
Amelia did her best not to fidget, she was under a lot of pressure and extremely uncomfortable in the cramped room and fidgeting just might get her into a lot of trouble. Before speaking, she thought about her answer long and hard, she wanted to be completely honest and give the best answer she possibly could. "She was so smart and extremely popular. She was nice to everyone; upperclassmen, underclassmen, young children and even old people . . . Rich or poor, Ang was your friend." She gave a sort of matter-of-fact shrug.
Soft brown eyes bore into her blue-green irises. "Was anyone," he paused momentarily, "jealous of her? Not everyone likes the pretty girls and not everyone likes intelligence or friendliness. Jealousy can do some nasty things to each other, don't you agree?"
Amelia gave a nod. "Oh of course, but I'm not so sure about anyone being jealous of Angie. She was always so nice, there's no way anyone would hate her."
The investigator removed his elbows from the table and sat back against his chair and folded his arms over his chest. His head tilted to the side the slightest bit as he examined the girl in front of him. "Were you with her the night she disappeared?" Amelia nodded. "What was she like? What was her mood?"
"She was really upset . . . she and her boyfriend had broken up."
The investigator leaned forward, interested. The girl very well could have committed suicide, though the chances were unlikely considering the circumstances. "Share."
Amelia pushed her bangs out of her eyes. "Angela and Ryan were together for four years, they started dating the summer before Freshman year. Ryan was ready to take a huge step forward in their relationship, but Ang was saving herself for marriage. They got into a huge argument about it and they ended up breaking up."
A friendly smile stretched across the man's face. "Thank you. You may go." He stood and opened the door for her, and Amelia left the room.

"Tell me everything you know about Angela Elizabeth O'Reiley."
A sigh escaped his nostrils and his blue eyes lifted to meet the investigator's brown eyes. "She was hot, popular and smart. And a fucking nun." Blue marbles broke the blank gaze and rolled around the room, taking in everything though there wasn't much to take in. Four white walls, a metal desk, and a man in a black button-up shirt with his sleeves rolled past his elbows.
Chocolate-colored eyebrows furrowed. "There is no way that this girl was as clean and spectacular as everyone claims her to be, talk to me Ryan, tell me everything."
Ryan gave a slight smile and nodded, slouching a bit in his chair. "That girl loved to party and booze it up and get high. She was the life of the party, she always had the best ideas to make things fun."
The investigator's eyebrows now rose.
"But that's about it."
The man's head nodded slowly, thinking about everything that had been said. "Now I hear that you and Miss O'Reiley didn't agree on some things and got into an argument."
Ryan sat up a bit in his chair. "Who told you?"
"That's classified."
He slouched again. "We were together for four years and we rarely got . . . physical. Four goddamn years of treating her with respect and I can't get just a little bit of ass? C'mon, don't tell me you wouldn't be pissed off too."
The investigator pursed his lips. "Do you hate Miss O'Reiley for not having sex with you?"
Ryan shook his head slowly. "No."
The man stood and opened the door. "Thank you. You may go." The boy wasted no time standing and leaving the room.

Angela's autopsy reports came back. Alcohol and drugs were in her system, but not enough for her cause of death to be an overdose. The reports state that the girl had been choked to death.
The Setting
We live in a small town in Florida. The town is crawling with police and investigators, so bad behavior is very hard to get away with. But who said it's impossible? Everyone has their own house, whether it'd be with a roommate, parents or by themselves. The climate is the typical, Florida weather. Nice and warm even though Winter is right around the corner.
The Rules
"Advanced/Literate"
This is an advanced, or better known as literate, roleplay. This means you must post five sentences minimum per character. All must be grammatically correct as well as correct spelling. Writer's block happens, I know, I get it pretty often, but at least try to post something decent enough.
Interacting
As much as I wish I had the capability of doing so, I cannot interact with each and every one of your characters in the IC. So please, interact with others! Find some new roleplay buddies! Explore! When everyone wants to interact with only my characters, it puts a lot of pressure on me and it's pretty annoying having to wait for me to respond because I have to wait for other people to respond. Ya catch my drift?
Characters
Please limit yourself to four characters. And when joining, I'd prefer you made at least two characters; one male, one female. If it will cause you major grief, it's okay, you don't have to. I don't like regulating how many characters you have to make, but not everyone likes to join with more than one character. And then the roleplay becomes overpopulated with characters of one sex and it just gets all screwed up. And remember, they all live in the same town. So they all went to the same school. What I'm saying is, everybody knows everybody, no newbies. They may not know them personally, but they're not complete strangers.
Absence & Departure
If you are inactive for one week, or 7 days, I am removing you from the roleplay. You will be warned through PM after 5 days. I'm sorry, but this roleplay does not revolve around a single member, not even me, and the plot must go on. We cannot sit around waiting for you, because then I will declare the roleplay dead. If you tell me that you are going to be gone on vacation or whatever the reason to not be active, you will not be removed unless you requested for me to do so. Do NOT join and ditch. I absolutely hate it. So if you're swamped with roleplays and you simply cannot be active then this is not the roleplay for you. It's extremely annoying when we're waiting on someone to post, and we all know that person is online, and that person continuously posts in other roleplays. Not cool, bro.

But that's also not his fault. The boy's been cute since he was in his mother's womb. Micah can come off as a jerk at times and has a bit of a temper. Oh well. Just don't tick him off and you'll be fine. He's not someone to keep his emotions bottled up inside either. If he feels someone needs a beat-down, they're going to get a beat-down. Personality:Sylvia often comes across as rude and very offensive, but that’s because she actually is. Coming from a rather colourful and sordid past to marrying into the, wealthy and prestigious Prendergast family, Sylvia changed little. She is still as selfish as ever and desperately inconsiderate of others, in particular her stepchildren whom, she’s neglected since marrying their father.
Getting her kicks from frequent martini’s(on which she is dependant) and caustic comments, Sylvia lives for showing people their place true in the world; which is under her expensive Prada heels and when you’re as rich as her or should I say her husband why not? After all there is not much point in having $730 million if can’t rub it in all the little people’s faces.
Despite her prominent vice’s, her ice queen exterior, Sylvia does have a softer side. She is deeply devoted to her husband, he is his wife’s world, they support one another through good times and bad, yet they barely spend time together and never show affection in public. Also there are times Sylvia could almost be called protective of her step-kids, even if she would stubbornly refuse to admit it.
In a nut shell, Sylvia is on the exterior an ice queen, who feels her wealth protects her and gives her permission to be a bitch. She occasionally lets down this façade and allows people to see her tender side but these moments are few and far between. As her husband says always says to those who question his decision of marrying Sylvia “you’ll never love a viper if you can’t see past her fangs” that and “She can kill a man at ten paces with one blow of her tongue”
Story: Sylvia had little interaction with Angela Personally; she was one of the little people after all. Though the girl’s parents were pillars of the community and naturally always invited to the over-extravagant parties Sylvia hosted on regular basis. Angela's mother had become something of a friend to Sylvia, but still distant enough for her not to care about the girl’s disappearance or murder.
Only through her Stepson, Elijah did Sylvia have any real connection with Angela. He had attended the same school as Angela and developed some form of attraction to the girl and a rivalry with the Ryan?Or was It that he was infatuated with Ryan and had a Rivalry with Angela ... Sylvia could never remember nor did really care to be honest as long as the designer clothes kept on coming and the champagne kept on flowing. What She did remember was that either Angela or Ryan, deeply upset her stepson....Could Sylvia's protective instincts finally kicked in? could she have removed one the source's of his Pain?

Personality: Elijah was the second and last Child of the distinguished, Alexander and Faye Prendergast. He was the jewel of his father’s eye; finally there was an heir to carry on the Prendergast name. Elijah and his older Sister Sophia were raised as any wealth heirs would be; with strict discipline. Manners and etiquette where harshly enforced by their mother steely hand. From this Elijah became quiet and reserved, for fear of speaking out of turn and earning his mother’s reprimand. Despite this Alexander doted upon both his children, granting them anything their little hearts desired. This affected both children differently; Sophia became spoiled and demanding, were as Elijah became more charitable always making sure to share what he had with others especially those less fortunate.
Growing up Elijah developed a very shy personality, others less kind would call him socially awkward which he was. He still gets anxious in crowds, especially around strangers. As the years rolled by he was diagnosed with a Avoidant personality disorder (person characterized by a pervasive pattern of social inhibition, feelings of inadequacy, extreme sensitivity to negative evaluation, and avoidance of social interaction, who utilize fantasy as a form of escapism)
Elijah is pretty much a geek , loving all things nerdy from star trek to Lord of the rings, delves into fiction letting his imagination fun free with in that world. In reality he has little to no Friends his own age, spending most of his time locked up in his room or lounging around the estate. Kind, giving and considerate would all be used to describe Elijah, he is also extremely empathetic , but few ever see these sides of him.
Story: Elijah met Angela when he was barely five years old, he come with his father and his new wife, to Florida to stay at the Prendergasts summer residence and they immediately clicked and they were inseparable for the entire summer. Where one was the other wasn’t far behind, the two seemed to be joined at the hip. For some reason that Elijah could not explain he felt confident and secure around the fiery haired girl. But soon the summer ended and he had to reluctantly return to the Family estate in Malibu. Despite the distance the two remained in contact, Elijah making any excuse to visit their Florida estate, his step mother refused to go on such trips instead she jetted off to her native New York.
Five years ago Alexander was eventually persuaded by his son to move to Florida permanently, much to Sylvia’s dismay. It was then that Elijah first came into contact with Ryan Montgomery, Elijah became instantly drawn to the handsome youth, this developed into a crush and opened Elijah up to the realization that he was gay. This he kept hidden like a shameful secret, Elijah feared the ridicule he would receive if anyone found out and the thought that is father would reject him if he learned that his son was gay, made him sick.
Recently he revealed his secret to Angela , for the first time in his life, Elijah felt free as if he could take on the world. This feeling was short lived however and soon word of his sexuality had spread around the town like wild fire. Now not only was he the butt of everyone’s jokes he also found himself being physically bullied. What hurt more than all the physical torment was the fact that he had trusted Angela and she apparently betrayed him.
Soon after Angela was found dead and Elijah’s world seemingly died with her. He became ever more reclusive consumed by regret.

Personality: If growing up in an orphanage thought Josh anything, it was that the world was cruel place and you had to fight to survive in it and that’s exactly what he did. He had no one to guide him, tuck him at night or kiss him better when he fell down, No Joshua Christensen, learned to that the only one you could depend on was yourself. But his childhood wasn’t so bad if you looked past the taunting and beatings he received from the other kids or the gruel that passed as food in the Cities orphanage all this served was to toughen him up for when we would be free of the hellish place. Since then the world has proven him right time and again, resulting in his rather negative outlook on life and always expecting the worst in people.
Being set free in the world at the tender age of Sixteen, with no money, no job and no prospects, Joshua lived it rough for a few months. Scavenging any food he could find, sleeping in any door way that could provide Shelter. Homeless and alone in a hopeless world, He didn’t give up nor would he ever. Stealing his resolve he vowed he would drag his way out of the gutter one way or another. And that’s exactly what Josh did. He found work, selling himself on the street, it wasn’t glamorous but it was that or starve. And as luck would have it, his effeminate appearance that caused so much grief for him in the Orphanage, became his trade mark. Making full use of it he began to were more female orientated clothing’s. Soon he saved managed to get an ’apartment’ of his very own, which has become the centre of his business.
Josh can seem cold and distant, but this is just a defence mechanism. Life thought him that people who get too close will only hurt you and if they don’t get close they can’t hurt you. A philosophy he has lived by all his life. But If one can see past his though exterior and ‘take no shit’ attitude, they would see how vulnerable he really is on the inside. He also has a sensitive, empathic side, for Animals and those that can’t defend themselves.

Once Lexi was servicing a couple of clients in an alleyway – They weren’t too impressed when they realised that Lexi was in fact a ‘he’. Beating him to a bloody pulp and leaving him. He would have surely died if it wasn’t for a certain young women’s intervention. She saved his life that day and never forgot what Angela did for him. Josh never met her again, sent letters to her twice and got replies back. Then Angela died.

Personality: As the youngest in the troop, Monoka is quite childish, screaming at those who talk about murder. Monoka's personality overall is mainly carerfree and worldly. Monoka is sometimes thought as crazy or outgoing due to her obsessive-compulsive behavior for friends. She is sometimes seen being wacky or "out-of-the ordinary" because of her behavior towards literature. When reading her manga or watching Miku Hatsune, she dislikes to be disturbed. Monoka is also a bubbly child with straight As, and she is utterly depressed about Angela's death.
Character history: Monoka's true name is Minoriko, but she has since been called Monoka after a trip to Shibuya-ku, which is in Tokyo, Japan. She has changed her name legally (though it is unknown how or when she did so). A couple of claimed reasons were due to her love for anime and her attempt to keep with the Japanese bloodlines.
As a little girl, Monoka was being laughed at for her size and her unnatural way to talk. Her seperation from other peers made her one of the meekest, quietest girls. By the time Monoka was ten years old, she has been introduced to anime. She has loved anime and went crazy over it ever since.
When she was 12, she was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, and was still taking Concerta at the highest dosage available to alleviate the ADHD symptoms. When Monoka was 13, she has lived in Shibuya-ku for two years before going back to Florida. She wished to start her freshman year with her newly brought Sailor Fukus.
During her Freshman year, she was being called the outcast but was gaining a lot of unwanted attention ("Want to fuck with me?", "Let's be friends with benefits", etc.) Only one friend, Momiji Hanabusa, was always kind to her.
During her Sophomore year, she has gained friends who used her and called her inflamatory names such as "beanie bag" or "Sweat Puppy". Momiji was now deemed inseperable friends with the girl. Then, she met a girl named Angela. Angela taught her how to get away from the freaks and Monoka sometimes went along with Angela on trips.
During her Junior year, Monoka found herself to be connected with a girl named Sheridan. They had a lesbian relationship, but eventually broke up after Sheridan moved to San Antonio, Texas. Unfortunately, as it turned out, Sheridan only pretended to love her as to show how much of a jerk she was to anime "otaku".
During her Senior year, she gained about twoother friends: Vinnie and Murasa. The four began to hang out with Angela, but as they got older, visits changed from weekly to monthly. By the time Angela passed away, the three other friends grew sad. Monoka still hears Angela's words of wisdom still echo.
Story: To Monoka, Angela was a aquaintance of Monoka's whom she loved seeing. Angela was not too familiar with her during freshmen year as she tried seperating herself from everyone. In her sophomore year, this has changed drastically. Perhaps Monoka was your average stalker, sneaking after school to take pictures of Angela (and shared lots of them after her death). In fact, she has confessed love for her a couple of times, but that has since failed. Angela was always nice to Monoka, and she even remembers them getting together their junior year. Monoka confessed to what she was doing and apologized to Angela. By the time When Monoka found that her friend, Angela died, It felt like every bit of her was taken apart. As a result, she has relied on her manga and anime to alleviate her depression.
Interest: "What's that? Oh! Love interest? Kaname Kuran!! I FREAKING LOVE HIM! Also, that Chiyo from Azumanga Daioh... I WANNA EAT HER UP!! Oh, really... I don't... have a guy right now..." <--She really doesn't have an interest at the moment!
Boyfriend/Girlfriend/Spouse: As Monoka has Aspergers Syndrome, and she is naturally antisocial, she does not have any lover at the moment. To be honest, her anti-socialism fails to provide her an honest love. She is now looking at boys and girls to love and cherish.

Personality: Nebraska is everything you see when you look at her. Cute, corky, original, creative, fun. Add in quiet, and you hit the mark. Nebraska rarely talks, never really joining on the conversations at the lunch table. She isn't one to go running around everywhere and spitting out her opinion. Ask for it, yes, and you will get a very imaginative and well-thought-out opinion. Nebraska also is very caring, and that's probably why she works at the local pet store while going to college online. When she isn't working or at the library, Nebraska is probably creating some masterpiece out of clay or drawing in her sketchbook. She is extremely creative and somewhat childish. But sadly, Nebraska tends to take things a little too far, and can come across as self-centered at times. But overall, she is just a sweet kid trying to make her way in life.
Story: Nebraska never knew Angela very well, only really sharing words with her if she absolutely had to. Angela wasn't someone Nebraska would have liked, but Nebraska generally doesn't like the popular folk, or those who pretend to be who they aren't. Yeah, Nebraska saw the real Angela when her brother had a party at their house. But she can't blame the kid, every teenager gets that way at some point. Nebraska would never murder her for making mistakes.

Personality: Jammie is a pretty cool guy, if charming and adventurous is your type. If you like crazy and wild, with a dash of insane, then this is your guy. This boy is never at a loss for words. He will run around, touching everything he can, venturing into those little shops on the corner, taking long walks in the forest at four in the morning. There is nothing Jammie wont try, be it a place to go, food, anything. He loves to take pictures of the great unknown, to write about great kingdoms and powerful steam-engines. In his eyes, everything is a story, everything has a past. And even if his past isn't very good, he doesn't live in it, he lives in the present. Jammie is seriously going on the the verge of being insane, though. He has two voice that just fight and fight in his head, sometimes he is able to block it out, but when he is just sitting alone in a dark and silent room, they just rage on and on. He can't stop it, so he starts to yell and scream, until he has to get out of the small space. So then he'll grab his fedora and take a nice long walk in the forest behind his house.
Story: Jammie always liked Angela, but not just for her looks or because she was popular. He liked her for who she was, a cute and innocent kid. Although, Jammie was never really close with her. He had a couple of classes with her and they said hi when they passed in the hallway, but never really more then that. The murder came as a huge surprise to him, who would want to murder such a sweet girl?

Personality: Flip has a very dark view of life. He's basically a Goth, but without the clothes and make up. He regards life as an epic struggle, where it's important never to weaken, that everyone's out to get you, that everyone has an agenda and can be bought and sold. He regards romance, family life, aspirations and commitment to any ideal with suspicion. Flip constantly reads books by Edgar Allen Poe, Lovecraft and other dark fantasies. And lots of romantic poetry. Surprisingly, he functions pretty well in life... he does whatever is required of him with a sort of ironic, cynical detachment. At school, he studied because the system anted him to, just to get them off his back. At his job at a digital printing works he does his work quietly and efficiently, simply because he has contracted to do so - but with no passion or commitment. He has never had a romance, but suspects he might be emotionally heterosexual. His sexual experience has been mostly sterile, usually with prostitutes and one-night-stands.
Story: Flip's parents were killed in a plane crash when he was two years old, and he remembers little about them. He was brought up by his Aunt Flora, for whom he has a lot of respect, but no deep emotional feeling.
Interest: Tends to recoil from emotional commitment, so unlikely to form emotional crushes. Is quite capable of purely physical ones, though. and may well form such throughout the plot.

No matter what he doesn't seem to learn. He's also been known to get into a fight or two, and can be known as an aggressive type of guy.
Story: Cam knows aggression well, and knows it can move people to do dumb things. That's why he thinks that Ryan is possibly the killer. He didn't know the victim well, only from school. He doesn't pay much attention to girls around him, unless they're willing to sleep with him or something. Since she was with Ryan, she wasn't open for buisness, so, he didn't care too much.

He's not really known as a player by girls, because he doesn't act that way. He actually cares.
Story: He doesn't think anyone had it in for her, and she was just murdered by some crazy person out there in the world. He knew her from a few of his classes, and that's about it. He'd maybe said a few words to her before.
