Gifted and Cursed

Flight has been a human fantasy for centuries - hell, millenniums. And now, it is possible.

The scientists were successful. In order for them to begin creating the superhuman race they had in mind, the first goal was to succeed with the guinea pig, to create the prototype. That prototype was a human with wings.

That prototype was Mia.

After she was created, Mia was studied for years; with what seemed like never-ending tests, medication, and training. She was liberated from this torture after 17 years, but not without a tracking device embedded into her skin. In her mind, she was finally being set free from the golden cage they had created for her. In the scientists' eyes, it was letting her go to see how long she would last. Just another test.

After Mia's departure, they began experimenting with more humans. A particularly complicated case was ____. They were trying to take the better characteristics of certain animals/creatures and apply them to a human being, to add to and improve his/her already existing traits. Unfortunately, this experiment failed. Instead, he/she transformed into a hybrid human and escaped from the labs. This was the worst possible news for the scientists. An insane, failed experiment out to destroy everything in his/her path was what the scientists saw, but ___ was only trying to understand... himself/herself. Trying to make sense of everything he/she was going through, which included learning to control his/her new "powers".

So, the only hope they had was Mia. She was the only one capable of stopping this "beast".

We need to figure out a lot of details, like what year it is, what's the location, where we're gonna be starting, etc. I'll be adding all that to this post.

Well Alice the the location of this rp could be in England and we could call the place either downtown London or it could be in an abandoned city/town in london. Obviously the scientists do not want the government or public to know so they will try their best to clean the "mess" up.

It is the year 2042 and all the technology is extremely advanced as this is quite a few years into the future they know about some fantasy creatures such as dragons, werewolves(there are other were creatures too.) and vampires extra but there is one rule that has been broken and that rule is not to breed/have children or experiment on these creatures. (if this is okay with you Alice)

Oh... So they've basically been creating these superhumans by breeding them with other fantasy creatures? I'll have to fix that in the opening, then.

Powers: Fire, Lighting, Telepathic, Partial Shifting/Transformation.
Personality: he has a severe split personality disorder. He is normally very kind and friendly and willing to help out but the smallest of things can tick him off and trigger his split personality. He also has a bit of an anger issue due to the fact that he can't control his shifting powers properly and the beast within will take over and kill anyone in his path.
History (opt): He was born... Well created in a secret laboratory they were trying to make a super human. They had already had one successful test subject and were now trying to see if they could get successful results by adding different species DNA into and embro. Once the baby was born they were surprised to see it in human form. They studied it and watched it grow and taught it the basics. Everything seemed fine at first but when he got to the age of 13 they began to see the side effects of having so many animal species in a childs body, they started to understand that as the boy was maturing so were the different creatures inside him. The Scientists began to observe his behaviour more and more they soon realised that he was becoming very unpredictable and very powerful. They decide they would kill him, but he knew what they were trying to do and he got angry and killed the scientists and escaped.
