History: Donovan was born into a very wealthy family, the only child of two aristocrats with wealth dating back for generations. He was their pride and joy, charming, intelligent, kind. As far as they knew. However, he was tragically killed in what his parents were told was a hunting accident. In actuality, Donovan had been killed in a fight at a bar in the 'poor' section of the city.
Distraught, his parents sought help from a local witch, convincing her to help revive their son. She allowed them to give up years of their lives in order to give him his life back. It worked. However, when Donovan was revived, he stole the rest of the years his parents had, killing them both and giving himself many years of youth. Since his death, he's developed the ability to steal the life from other living things, and survives in that way.
Personality: Donovan appears to be charming, kind, and considerate. However, he usually only uses these traits to get what he wants. He is highly intelligent, yet vain, with a sense of entitlement instilled in him by his lavish upbringing. He doesn't have much of a temper, and can be extremely patient. He doesn't care about many people besides himself, but if he does, he will be an extremely loyal, powerful ally.
