Hello! I'd like to submit a character for your consideration; I'm thinking of running a male, either human or half-elf who was captured and would add a sprinkle of rebellion to the mix. Would that be acceptable?

Of course! Having another male in the mix of characters will be a great balance!

Though, just as a note. Though humans and half elves are not at all uncommon in the underdark, they are very rarely captured. Due to their short lives. So if you were captured, you'll be one out of thousands. It's extremely rare for Drow to capture humans, or half elves.

Other than that, welcome aboard! I can't wait to see your CS.

Race: Sylvan Elf

Appearance:[/U] Yasparr is about 5'11", and slim. He has green eyes and light copper hair, and a semi-haunted look about him.

Personality: He is quiet and observant. He rarely speaks unless spoken to, and has learned to be out of the way unless he is needed by his owners.

Thoughts on your current state of life: Yasparr does not remember much about his past. He did remember his name and sometimes hears a man yelling it desperately. Lately he has had flashes of memory; a sunny streak through trees, a clear brook in the morning light...and it is making him wonder if he might have had a life apart from this one.

How you became a slave to the Drow: Yasparr was training to be an Outrider, an elite group of Elven rangers who patrolled the outer borders of their kingdom. He was still considered a child when he was caught nearly thirty years ago. His father and the entire regiment were slaughtered, but Yasparr was young enough that the drow took him as a slave. He had suffered a head injury during the attack. That, plus the trauma of seeing his father slaughtered, gave Yasparr a blissful three decades of amnesia. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately) he is starting to remember his past life.

Known family: The Ti'aminate tu-Lahndia above-ground

Other: Yasparr had been quite the acrobat in his youth. Prior to his capture he was cocky, brash, and self-confident. It helped that he was naturally skilled at whatever he tried to learn and was quite bright.

Of course, Leon, and Alika, I really do need those character sheets soon, I can't keep you reserved forever. I don't mean to hurry you two, it's just past the time you said I'd have them.

Gender: Female
Race:Kobold
Age: 33
Appearance: Small and wispy even for a kobold, Her tiny scaled hands are quick and cunning. She carries her ramshackle medical kit in bits of clothing hand-stiched by herself from rags and scraps. Her precious silver sewing needle she keeps hanging from a string around her thin neck, though simpler ones carved from bone poke out from the edge of her miniscule cloth bracer. A slim hand-ground scalpel is tucked inconspicuously into a fold of cloth at the small of her back.

Personality: Qat is supremely compassionate, an oddity among her savage race. Somehow she faded into the background of slave life, one 'useless' kobold among many. Her larger, stronger packmates shoulder her share of the work, and feed her with scraps choice-reserved from their own bowls. In exchange, she closes their cuts in neat criss-cross stiches with colorful threads of stolen silk, and sets them right with rag-tied splints when they break their fragile bones in the tumult of daily labor.
Thoughts on your current state of life: Qat is confused and dismayed at her situation, but her pure heart leads her to simply make the best of her lot in life.
How you became a slave to the Drow: Qat was rounded up along with the majority of her clan when she was very young.
Known family: Qat's parents were seperated from her long ago, and she has no memory of them.
Other: By some strange natural selection Qat has developed a knack for the healing arts. Though she does not know it, she is a born paladin, and her healing touch has a trace of the divine. (lay on hands) What good god would cast their sanction over such an unlikely champion remains to be seen. Her tiny bone-handled scalpel vibrates softly in the presence of demons.

Is it weird that I've always though Kobolds were cute?

Oh Qat is adorable... I've never really seen Kolbolds as cute, but I can see why'd they'd seem that way! Qat definitely is.
I don't know though... I said five characters... And I hate to be a pushover, but she's such a great, and original character... Alika told me I'll have her character sheet tonight. So her spot is taken... Let's say that by the thirteenth, any reserved spots will be open again.
