Well its a natural part of life, and adds truth to our to stories in my opinion. I do agree though that there is no need for excessive detail.

Good job. Though some of the things mentioned kinda made me nauseous. :s Like-- people are posting stuff like that. Gag. Good to know RPA has clear cut rules. I personally prefer not to read about any writing of sex at all. The fact that people need to be guided so bluntly as to what 'smut' is, is kinda sad. It's just a shame that you guys have to go into so much detail just to keep people decent. There is a difference in writing so as to arouse the reader, and writing that expresses that deep emotional love the characters have for each other. (I still though would not write about it or allow it in my rps, personally.)

Well, the main deal is that some things are just not set in stone, and there are many ways to view things, and it is up to the individuals to decide what is too much for him/her and what he/she can endure.

We wanted to trust on one's good judge, but quickly learned that since we all come from different backgrounds and different views of life and things, and yes, even different sites and forums that allow some certain things, we decided to get more clear on our rules.

There is nothing wrong with writing about something, as long as it is done in good manner and good taste. Considering it is a site that wishes to be viewed by a larger populations and ages range, we decided to make things more clear, not just for the members, but for us as staff as well.

I think this will help to cover up the way we wish to take things regarding the issue of sex and I do hope it helps to clear things better. And yes, should the need arises we will edit more into it, but let me just tell you that everyone worked hard together to think this up, just so everyone can be more or less on the same page here, and knowing exactly on what we aim to see, or not to see, in our forum.
