Shape Stealers - New Era

In a the Victorian era of a world called Riftnyn, dark creatures roam the streets, appearing to be human, but are far from it. They take the form of anything they desire, and use their camouflage to take the remaining years of a person's life as their own. These creatures are Shape Stealers, and more well known as Lighters. Shape Stealers live to kill people, but it wasn't always this way. They used to fend off evil spirits to protect the humans, but the humans abused their powers, and treated the Stealers like slaves, ordering them to kill other humans for personal gain. Eventually, the Shape Stealers grew angered and turned on the humans for being so selfish. Stealers have turned into a feared race,and their numbers become smaller and smaller every few years. Will they be able to keep their race alive?

You must ask for the position of Shape Stealer, since there must be a limited number. To apply, write an example of an post involving the Shape Stealer you would want to be. Please put this example in your application form.

Name: Black Lace (nobody knows her real name)
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Weapon of Choice: Needles - about 4 inches long and are coated in her Aura to cause internal damage, some may be poisoned.
Aura Color (The color of their magic): Light, neon blue
Personality: Very shy and quiet, doesn't usually talk and keeps to herself. She tries to avoid all human contact and rarely do any other Shape Stealers ever see her.
Picture or Description of Appearance: Black Lace is about 5ft 4in, with straight silvery-blond hair that comes down just past her shoulder blades. She has bright blue eyes, but seem to be clouded most of the time - although she is not blind. She has really pale skin, but her veins cannot be seen.
History: Her mother and father are unknown, but her sister, who's name and whereabouts are unknown, is almost her complete opposite, and they resent each other. She was supposedly born in the darkest pits of Jigoku o Ikite Iru the worst prison in Riftnyn who's name translates to "Living Hell".

Name: Segasa
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Weapon of Choice: Tiger Claws
Aura Color (The color of their magic): Blood red
Personality: Serious and cold, Segasa doesn't make many friends, human or Stealer. Surprisingly, he stays by his master's side and treats them like a younger sibling.
Picture or Description of Appearance: Segasa is about 6' 2" with dark blond hair in a thin but long ponytail tipped with red. His eyes give off a golden sheen in the light. He has tanned skin and has some muscle on him. In public he's often seen wearing a black torn shirt stained with blood on the back, black jeans with a chain in his pocket, a pale blue belt around his right thigh, steel-toed boots, an eye patch over his left eye, and a pendent of a red drop of blood.
History: His parents has disappeared at some time when he was 16 and he had somehow wandered into the real world. From exhaustion, he passed out on the streets and was found by his master's parents. They took him in, introducing him to their child. Segasa was awed by the kid's innocence, eventually beginning to treat them like a sibling.
Now the father is dead and the mother is in the hospital, leaving Segasa and the kid alone at home. Segasa doesn't refrain from killing humans as he is a Stealer, but if his master doesn't want him to kill someone, he'll obey.
Post Example: Segasa silently pressed his Tiger Claw against a man's thoat, holding him up against a brick wall. It was late at night, so he thought nobody was around to witness this murder. He began to draw blood...
"Stop." Segasa froze at the voice. He turned and saw his master standing across the steet. "That man's innocent, Segasa. So stop right there."
A low growl escaped the Stealer's throat, but he released the man anyways. The latter ran away like a dog with its tail between its legs.
"Fine then..."

Name: Akio Matsumoto
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Occupation: Just wrapping up high school
Personality: He is loyal, helpful, silly, and carefree, but he becomes calm and strict when he doesn't want Segasa to kill.
Picture or Description of Appearance: His blond hair is windswept with one strand of hair dyed golden. Akio's height is about 5' 8 1/2", and his eyes are dark blue. He wears a white long-sleeved shirt, a jean jacket, jeans, black boots, and a brown newsboy cap turned lopsided.
Family: Deceased father, hospitalized mother, and his adopted brother Segasa.
History: He had lived a pretty normal life until one rainy day when he was 13. His parents returned home with a soaked teenager. Although the circumstance was strange, and he was told that this boy would become his older brother, he still happily introduced himself to the wet person. The stranger just stared at him with wide eyes and reluctantly stated his name.
He eventually learned that his new brother was not only a Stealer, but he accidentally became his master. It was hard but he managed to get over the shock and treat the case seriously.
His dad is gone now and his mom, Mira, is terribly ill in the hospital. Akio and Segasa live by themselves at home and Akio's in charge of keeping Segasa sane, while still keeing passing grades in school.

the Post Example is you making an example post of your character. Here is what I mean:

A small grin played on Black Lace's lips. She had not heard that name in a long time. This could get interesting. She walked over to her small desk in the dark corner of the room. Papers, needles, and charts lay scattered about the top, and the drawers sit open, overflowing with jars of old specimens. "Hana, get my new substance ready"." Lace said quietly.
