Bio: Lydia never knew her birth parents growing up; her mother, a prostitute, had died in childbirth, and failed to identify the baby's father before she passed away. And so, with no known living relatives, Lydia grew up in an orphanage for most of her life, where she first began to see her spirit monster, Maha Vailo, at age five. Quickly befriending Maha Vailo, she was often teased by other kids in her later childhood, since she could still see Maha Vailo long after they had outgrown their "imaginary friends".
But when Lydia was ten, a man named Andrew Connor visited the orphanage. Not only could Andrew see Maha Vailo as well, but Lydia could also see that Andrew had a spirit monster of his own. The two of them quickly bonded over this, and Andrew officially adopted Lydia three days later, after which he took to teaching Lydia about magic. Eagerly learning various spells and charms from Andrew, Lydia grew up happily with him over the next five years.
More recently, however, two women arrived at Andrew's home claiming to be close family friends, but during their subsequent visits, Lydia noticed that Andrew became more withdrawn from Lydia and evasive of Lydia's questions about the strange women. These visits became more and more frequent in the days leading up to Seto Kaiba's disappearance and the sightings of the Kaiba Monster: topics that Andrew has since refused to discuss with Lydia.

Bio: Centuries ago, an ancestor of Andrew's made a pact with a witch named Nakhti in exchange for wealth and power. However, for his part of the deal, the ancestor was ordered to capture an ancient pharaoh and two of his high priests, all three of whom Nakhti claimed owed a blood debt to her and her sisters. When the ancestor failed to find these men during his lifetime, his debt was then passed on to his son, and in turn it was passed down his bloodline and most recently to Andrew himself. Thus, it was this debt that effectively drafted Andrew into the Army of the First Born: a cult formed by Nakhti and her living sister Neema to revive a third, unnamed sister and take their revenge on the pharaoh and his priests.
Andrew quickly came to despise the witches and their cult, and though his debt forced him to serve them in their task, he frequently turned to music and other distractions to take his mind off of the affairs of the Army. While visiting an orphanage in Domino one night, Andrew's spirit monster, Invitation to a Dark Sleep, discovered a young orphan named Lydia talking with her own spirit monster, Maha Vailo, and informed Andrew. Intrigued, Andrew visited the orphanage the following day and quickly bonded with Lydia, whom he adopted days later and began teaching the ways of magic in his spare time.
As the mysterious pharaoh and priests had not yet emerged by this time, Andrew and Lydia lived together in peace for five years before the witches entered Andrew's life once again. On that day, Nakhti and Neema personally visited Andrew's home claiming to know the modern identity of one of the two high priests: Seto Kaiba. Shocked by the news, Andrew tried to dissuade the two witches from targeting Kaiba, but they warned him that his debt would pass on to Lydia if he failed to honor it, leaving him with no choice but to comply.
Before long, the witches set their plan into motion. Andrew sent Lydia to a neighbor's sleepover party in order to keep her out of the house and provide her with an alibi for the evening, while Neema created an illusionary Mokuba to lure Kaiba into Andrew's house, where Nakhti used her magic to subdue Kaiba more easily and imprison him in the basement. To prevent Lydia from discovering the plot, Andrew then placed an illusion spell on Kaiba to make him appear as a werewolf, but Kaiba caught him by surprise soon after this and escaped, resulting in the subsequent sightings of the Kaiba Monster.
Other Notes: Andrew has a dark lesion on the palm of his left hand, which he frequently hides with gloves, bandages, or long sleeves. This mark, which represents his debt to Nakhti, is magical in nature and can only be removed by either repaying the debt or releasing the marked person from service.
Spoiler: The WitchesNames: Neema, Nakhti, and Mekare
Age: Approximately 5,000 years old. (Mekare is the oldest, followed by Nakhti and then Neema, the youngest.)

(From left to right: Neema, Mekare, Nakhti)

Thirsting for power in all of its forms, she took whatever measures were necessary to secure power for herself or for her sisters, and she was never known to openly display any genuine care or affection to anyone except for Nakhti and Neema.
Nakhti is the most reserved and calculating of the three sisters as well as the most cunning, having learned over the millennia to use the desires of others to her own advantage. Though not as hot-blooded as Mekare or as spontaneous as Neema, Nakhti prides herself on finding ways to overwhelm her enemies with minimal effort on her part.
Neema is the most playful and flighty of the witches, frequently displaying a childlike manner and treating even the most serious of endeavors like a game. Despite this, she is loyal to her sisters without fail and ready to act on their behalf as necessary.

Enemies: Pharaoh Atem (Yami Yugi), Priest Seto (Seto Kaiba), Priest Mahad (Dark Magician), Amun/Ray, the Sacred Guardians, the Children of the Shadows
Crushes: Pharaoh Atem (formerly), Priest Seto (formerly), Priest Mahad (formerly)
Bio: 5,000 years ago, in the time of Pharaoh Atem, the witches were part of a group of traveling performers in Egypt who one day caught the eye of a high-ranking palace official. Sensing an opportunity to earn a place for themselves in the royal palace, the witches secretly used a spell during their dance to charm and intrigue the official, who later employed the sisters to dance for the royal court. Despite lingering suspicions from the Pharaoh's Sacred Guardians, the sisters' performances were otherwise well-received by the court, which afforded the sisters a relatively comfortable life in the palace.
Nevertheless, the peace between the sisters and the Sacred Guardians was fragile at best, and Mekare grew paranoid that she and her sisters would be cast out into the street at the slightest provocation or once the Pharaoh eventually tired of them. Rather than resign themselves to such a fate, the witches made a pact that they would each marry into the upper class and thus secure their futures in the royal court. To this end, each sister set her sights on one of three key figures in the Pharaoh's court; Neema and Nakhti respectively tried to woo Mahad and Seto, the Pharaoh's two most trusted Guardians, while Mekare attempted to court the Pharaoh himself. But none of the three men showed any interest in the sisters, and in fact their advances aroused further mistrust among the Guardians, so the witches resorted to using magic to achieve their goal. By discreetly incorporating love charms and spells into their dance routines, the sisters steadily bewitched their three targets with each performance and, once the men were entranced, the witches secretly added potions into their drinks to further weaken their wills and slowly turn them into the sisters' obedient puppets.
In this way the witches effectively took control of Egypt for themselves, but their triumph was short-lived. The sudden change in their Pharaoh and comrades did not go unnoticed by the other Guardians, and Mahad's former teacher, Amun, quickly recognized the magic at work and took action, seemingly sacrificing himself to free the Pharaoh and his priests from the witches' spell. Outraged, the Pharaoh banished the three witches for their treachery, and the Sacred Guardians personally drove them out of the palace. But Mekare, furious and disgraced, violently retaliated against the three former suitors, her sisters quickly joining in after her. The ensuing battle was fierce, with the Pharaoh and his two priests easily defending themselves from the witches' attacks, and in her rage Mekare exerted too much power and died, her spirit descending into the Shadow Realm. Blaming the three men for Mekare's death, Neema and Nakhti took their fallen sister's body and vanished, but not before promising a cruel revenge.
Preserving Mekare's body inside a large magical crystal, Neema and Nakhti parted ways and traveled the world. Little is known of their exploits during that time, but they each took to gathering followers over the next five millennia through bargains and various other means, patiently waiting for their next chance to strike against Atem and his priests. Upon reuniting in the 1940's, Neema and Nakhti combined these followers into a single cult known as the Army of the First Born, the First Born being their sister Mekare. But by then, the time of the Pharaohs and the Sacred Guardians had long since passed, leaving Neema and Nakhti to bide their time until Atem, Seto, and Mahad would eventually return in the modern age.
In the present day, Neema and Nakhti have identified KaibaCorp's young CEO, Seto Kaiba, as one of their three foes. Wasting no time, the witches enlisted one of their debtors, Andrew Connor, to aid in Kaiba's capture, which was initially a success. However, Andrew dropped his guard in a crucial moment, allowing Kaiba to escape, but not before Andrew placed an illusion curse on Kaiba that made him appear to others as a werewolf, which led to a growing urban legend of a monster stalking KaibaCorp and the Kaiba household in the nights that followed.
Other Notes: Having survived the millennia through magical means, Neema and Nakhti must regularly absorb a steady amount of life force from outside sources (plants, animals, humans, etc.) to sustain their youth, or their bodies will begin to rapidly age and eventually die.

When he arrived at the pharaoh throne room he was greeted kindly, and also asked to help with the protection of the royal family by being the personal sorcerer of the pharaoh. He of course declined the offer, but agreed to assign his best student to be the pharaoh’s guardian. They agreed and thus began the long relationship between the society of wizards (Children of The Shadows), and the pharaohs.
So from that time on when the new pharaoh takes the throne. One of his apprentices is assigned to protect him throughout his reign. Amun has never guarded a pharaoh personally, but he has befriended a couple. The last pharaoh that he befriended was Atem, and his most talented pupil and friend became this great pharaoh’s guardian. His name was Mahad, who treated the Pharaoh like a little brother and watched over him. Mahad also was part of the Pharaoh's Sacred Guardians, and one of his mot trusted advisers, alongside Seto.
Then the three sisters came into the city, and wormed their way into the palace. Even though the Sacred Guardians had their suspicions on the girls they allowed them into the palace to perform for the Pharaoh Atem. It wasn’t ling before they started courting pharaoh as well as the Mahad, and Seto’s hearts. And through the means of magic they succeeded, and had the whole kingdom in their grasps. Amun was unaware of this till about two weeks into them being at the palace and Atem invited him to the palace to see the performance that the girls were putting on for their soon to be slaves. When he arrived he saw what was going on during the dance, as well as how the three were acting and recognized it as high level dark magic, and potions. He didn’t know why these women are here, but they had to be stopped.
So he went to a secret garden that the pharaoh had planted for him that was filled with white flowers, and in the center of this garden he started to cast a high level spell that would destroy all of the current spell they were weaving. This spell was extremely dangerous because it takes almost all of the casters concentration as well as power too pull it off, and as soon as the spell was finished casting he fell into darkness of the Shadow realm. Falling into the flowers that were in the garden. When the spells were shattered the three sisters were banished from the kingdom. Atem and Mahad went to searching for there friend and mentor that they knew broke the spell.
It took quite a bit of time to find the location that Amun had chosen to cast his spell, and they were both shocked to see that he had fallen into the shadows. They went over to his body, and found the he was still alive, sot hey took his body to the pharaohs chambers, and watched over him. When the sisters attacked he was still trapped in the shadows, and it took a couple of months for him to recover from casting a spell that nearly killed him, but he returned from the Shadows to the news of the sister defeat, and threat.
As soon as he was able he went on a journey to find the remaining two and send them to the shadow realm to join their sister. But he didn’t find them and when he finally returned about ten years later he found that the kingdom was in ruins, and his friends had fallen into the hands of a sinister man with a sinister goal. So due to these events that he is not fully aware of, many great and treble things happened wile he was away. He was told that one day Atem, and the two priests would be reborn, and the sisters would try and take their revenge on them.
So Amun kept his society of wizards going, and trained every generation of wizard form that time till now. He had changed his name to Ray, and lived his life till this modern age as a teacher. The only ones that know his true name are the members of The Childern of The Shadows. Then one day he had a dream more of a premonition, of the child that would be the Pharaoh’s new vessel would be born soon, and the forces of darkness were closing in on him and his reincarnated priest. Now is the time for him to take up arms once again, and destroy the three witches that wished to destroy the great pharaoh.
Other Notes: The magic that is used to keep him from aging is a forbidden spell that he himself created. This spell has no fee to be paid for using it, but it does have a consequence. This spell never lets you taste death, because your soul already resides in the shadow realm entrapped in a black crystal. Even if your current body dies it is reconstructed, and you live once again. But this does cause a malfunction. If the mind is destroyed, then the body will live forever and you will still never know the peace of death. Finally, if the crystal that resides in the shadow realm is brought out by some force you can kill Amun, by shattering the crystal.
