    Default Ever More - {Private for me and Ohbad-Hai}

    It went by so quickly.

Sevy was driving the car and it was very much her fault, at least that's what she thought. She was on a completely empty road high up in the hills. The road was surrounded by nothing but the world below Sevy and Gabriel, in was a few hundred feet to the bottom.

Sevy sped down the road, going way over the speed limit... They were late for a party. Suddenly, something was in the road. It looked like a man, he was bloody and staring right at them. Sevy swirved to miss the man, flying off the road. They were in the air for several seconds, Sevy was silent... Too afraid to even scream.

Sevy awoke. She had been thrown out of the car. She got to her feet and looked around for Gabriel... He was no where to be seen. She was bloody and in pain and the car was completely broken and beat up. When Sevy put her hand on the car her hand when almost frozen... Her hand passed through the car. Sevy screamed and fell back, "Oh my God!"

Gabriel's eyes were on Sevy for most of the drive, his thoughts travelling back to school and all the good times he had with her. Remembering his silly little crush on her through out her there friendship. Gabriel's mind slid back into the darkness at that moment, if I never joined the army maybe I could have saved her from that awful boyfriend of hers. His face grim, as he thought about what he had done in his life, he heard the screams then.
Suddenly everything felt light, and he looked at Sevy. A look of dread and fear etched on her pleasant features. He turned to look out the window, all he saw was rocks. All grew black. He heard laughter and a low growl that sounded like the rolling surf. “Your mine now.” Gabriel was laying outside the car feeling dizzy, looking at the wreckage, wondering how he survived. The car began to light on fire, his thoughts instantly turned to Sevy. He ran around the other side to see her alright, but she screamed "Oh my God!" and fell backwards. He ran up to her and put his hand on her shoulder. “Are you ok he said.” in distress looking her over, she appeared to be fine. He looked back at the wreckage and saw a pool of blood seeping out the driver side, blood, why is there blood he thought Sevy is fine.... he suddenly felt cold, so very cold. He began to laugh as he stood up, it started taking on an angered tone. No this couldn't be he thought he started mumbling “No no no no no no NO NO NO!” He fell to his knees and cried this couldn't be, it washed over him like a winter storm. They were dead.

Sevy watched Gabriel closely as he started to laugh and then fell to the ground yelling, “No no no no no no NO NO NO!” Sevy pushed back her hair and got back onto her feet, she crouched by him and put her hand slightly on his back "I-It's OK..." She sighed and looked at the wreck.

Sevy got up and walked over to it. She squinted hard and put her hand in the fire... Nothing, no feeling. It was amazing. She went into the car and saw the dead bodies, ripped and bloody. She shivered at the sight and jumped out, "Oh wow... Shit... This must be a dream, it has to be! It HAS to be! IT HAS TO BE!" She started yelling out, fear etched across her face. She started pitching herself. She still was there. Sevy cried and then heard something - a voice.

Sevy got up and walked over to the steep wall of dirt. A bloody man stood up there, laughing in a crazy way, "HEHEHEHE!!!" He jumped to the dirt and danced around, "OOOh, you're dead! Oooooh, you're mine now! HEHEHE!!!" Sevy stared at him, he was dirty and bloody and his left eye socket was completely empty... The other eye looked completely blind. He grabbed Sevy's hand and made her dance around with him.

"Yes! I killed ya and now I can live again! HEHEHE!!!" Sevy pulled away and shouted at him, "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?!"

He stopped dancing and stared at her intently, "You're a purty sight..." She noticed the man held his missing eye in his hand, he held it up so it could see her. She gulped and he smiled, "Whyzzz! I'm Jeremy and I killed ya! HEHEHEHE! See, you saw dat man in the street? Dat was me! HEHEHEHE! Now, you're my 250th kill... Now the Father will grant me life once more! HEHEHEHEHE!"

Gabriel heard the laughter, from the decrepit man. It pissed him off, he had no rights to laugh at their plight. He heard Sevy yell at him "WHO THE HELL ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?!?!" Gabriel listened more intently, "Whyzzz! I'm Jeremy and I killed ya! HEHEHEHE! See, you saw dat man in the street? Dat was me! HEHEHEHE! Now, you're my 250th kill... Now the Father will grant me life once more! HEHEHEHEHE!" He stood up and rushed over to where Sevy and the man stood he tackled him to the ground, smashing him into the ground. He back handed him and said “Speak straight fool, or I I I'm...” the man laughed in his face “Kill me” he said laughing again. Gabriel stood up and offered the man a hand, “I'm sorry, but what are you talking about. Two hundred and fiftieth kill, and the father granting you life. Please explain.” Gabriel stood there looking at the ground feeling like a fool, and feeling a twinge in his heart, he was really dead.

The man giggled, "Can't kill meh cun yah, boy?! HAHAHAHA!" He danced around and then stared at Gabriel with power, "Seez, I kill 250 people and I can live for a whole year... I will look healthy, young... Just like I used tah. Then, the Father brings me back to death and I has to kill 250 more peoplez, you gotta do it to if you wanna live again." He laughed and his eye fell to the ground, "Ooooh, shitzie! Where'd you go?" He got onto his knees and moved his hands around.

Sevy stared down at the crazy man and the back to Gabriel, she stood behind him and stared back down at the man, "So... Who is this father? And where do we go now?"

The man smiled, "Wont answer no questions less you find meh me eye!" He giggled uncontrollably, "But since you so purty... I answer! Da Father, say it with respect now, is like da God in Heaven... Or da Devil in Hell, or soz they sayz. He is our leader and we respect him. You gotta go to the House where we all live. Now wherez that eye, oh mine?" He finally found his eye and held it up, "Nowz... I'm gonna go get permission from the Father! I'm gonna LIIIIVE!!!" He then jumped crazily up the hill and into the night.

Gabriel listened intently to the babbling man. The father he mused to himself, but the price to live again two hundred and fifty souls. His heart sank, and he felt his face grow black with sadness. Have I not killed enough in my life time to be damned to repeat it in death. Gabriel wish he had a drink, wishing he could drink this problem away, as well as his memories. He felt Sevy grab his hand, and tugged nodding in the direction of the crazed man that was running up the hill. Gabriel followed with a bit of reluctance, two hundred and fifty for a year it kinda felt like a steep price to him.

Sevy walked upstairs after the man. The walked for many moments until they walked into a street. A car came running by until it swerved out of control at the sight of the three ghosts. Sevy stared wide eyed as the people walked out, bloody. A little boy pointed at Sevy, Gabriel, and Jeremy. Jeremy pointed back and laughed, bounding foward into the dark again.

Sevy watched as the mom stared into the fire of their car. The father tried to touch it but his hand went through it. He screamed and fell back, such as Sevy did. The family then ran over to where Jeremy, Gabriel, and Sevy were walking, "Who are you?! What happened?!" Jeremy turned and started babbling much like he did to Gabriel and Sevy, he then ran foward again whispered, "Late, late, late..." The family followed after them.

They reached a large broken down house on a huge hill and Jeremy smiled, "The House!" He ran foward.

Gabriel watched as the car crashed, and the spirits of the family ended up outside the vehicle and the he saw the child stand up and point at them, his heart ached and he crouched as the ran over, looking down at his hand. He saw it fade and reappear, he shook his head. They just killed a child, Gabriel tried to cry but he couldn't, a voice in his head said “No much different than Afghanistan or Liberia, is it now sweet Gabriel.”
He watched this strange creature Jeremy babble off about the price of a new life, and the father. Jeremy gave them a look of discovery "Late, late, late..." Running off again, Sevy, the family and Gabriel followed him.

There stood before them a decrepit old three story mansion. So run down infact Gabriel wondered if it was gonna collapse in upon itself. They climbed the front steps, and the front doors swung open. Inside was beautiful, it was fully furnished with polished tile floor, massive tapestries hung in the foyer. Then Gabriel saw them, other dead spirits sitting in chairs, Jeremy continued to run on a head of them and up a massive flight of stairs. Gabriel proceeded to run after him, but felt a strong hand on his shoulder, he turned to see a massive man “Do you have an appointment?” He said in a cool and icy tone. Gabriel looked at him with great confusion, “I'll take that as a no then, go take a seat and wait your turn like everyone else. You will see the Father in due time.” The man said with a grim chuckle and walked off. Gabriel looked back to Sevy and the Family, He didn't know what to do.

Sevy walked upstairs as the large man was busy with Gabriel, he didn't notice her. She came to a large hallway that started with door number 1 all the way to... She couldn't see, it was too far back. A door closed; door number 121. Sevy walked slowly over to the door and pulled it open. A woman with a large hanging rope around her neck was sitting in a room staring at Sevy. The woman then screeched, "GEEET YOUR OOOOOWN ROOOM, BEEEECH!" Sevy screamed a bit and jumped out, slamming the door behind her.

Sevy walked deeper down the hallway until she found a room marked "*Father*" then a large sign beneath it written in red, gooey letters "NEVER OPEN WITHOUT APPOINTMENT." Suddenly a man walked out and he smiled, "Hello again, Sevy." He grabbed her arm and walked downstairs. He was in a large tux and had long, bushy black hair. He coughed lightly in his hand as they reached the first floor, "Sit!" He yelled to Sevy, who ran to a chair in surprise. He smiled- something about his teeth reminded her of... Of... Jeremy! She jumped up, "You're Jeremy! You're alive!"

Jeremy smiled, nodded, and walked outside, "See yah in a year SUCKAHS!" The door slammed behind him. Sevy stared after him with amazement, she turned to see that a man with an axe in his head was smiling at her lightly. She gulped and walked over to Gabriel, clutching his arm, "This is so freaky..."

The massive man at the desk who had grabbed Gabriel called out a name, "Kibi!" A large woman with a knife in her chest walked foward. The two whispered for a few moments and then she nodded. The man gave her a small piece of paper and she walked upstairs, fear in her eyes. This continued to happen over and over. There was a man who was melting, another man covered in clay, a woman with a large hole in the middle of her forehead, a lady with two marks in her neck and a very pale face, and lastly another man who looked perfectly fine besides his bald head. He nodded to the man at the front and Sevy over-heard one of them say "cancer." She shivered at the thought until one of then called her.

Sevy was confused the man knew her name. He set a sheet on the counter and gave her a pen, she noticed his fingernails were full of sand and his clothes were clouded up with sand. She wrote down personal information about herself and asked him how he died, "Buried alive." She shivered again and handed over the sheet. He then pulled out a small piece of paper that said "Room 361" she took it and remembered the fathers room was right next to it.

The man then called Gabriels name.

As Gabriel sat with Sevy he looked around at the other spirits in the foyer, He saw some particularly gruesome figures, a man who had been eviscerated, a woman, well it kinda looked like one who was nothing by a charred flaking image as if she was still burning. He shuddered as his eyes came upon the child who sat with his family. So young he thought, he heard Sevy's name called as she walked over to the desk and talked to the massive man for a bit and watched as she walked up the flight of stairs. “Gabriel” He stood up and walked over to the desk, “So your Gabriel Toril, huh.” The massive man said “Here fill these out.”Passing him some forms he saw the sand embedded in his nails, “buried a live.” He said with a sigh. Gabriel fill out his forms and the man gave him a horrid look, he handed him a sheet of paper. It didn't have a number on it, It was a pentical with cross through it. “The room is on the top floor, turn to the right and just follow the hall you'll see it.” Gabriel turned and proceeded to walk away he heard the man say quietly “I don't envy you.”

Gabriel made his way to the room, looking at the various doors. He walked up to the door marked with the symbol, and opened it. The world fell away and he was in blackness, with a single light surrounding him. Before him stood a short greasy obese man, in a business suit holding a briefcase and smoking what appeared to be a cigar. He gave him a Large fanged grin, “I've been waiting for this day for a long time Gabriel.” Off to the left of the man stood a statuesque woman, wearing glinting a breastplate and flowing silk dress with a sword at her hip. Her eyes glowed blue and she had short blond hair. “Poor stupid mortal.” She said with a voice that sounded like the wind kissing your ears. “We have some business to attend to here Gabriel, you see.. you have been a very bad boy.” The fat greasy man said. “Well not bad for us per-say, you helped to keep souls flowing into Charon's boat.” The woman leered at the man, “You are to be judge Gabriel, your soul is up for debate. You have done a great amount of Sin but you have also been a man of virtue and principal. Ridding the mortal plane of demons in human form.” The fat man sneered “Yes indeed you have, but you've also taken the lives of the innocent, and spilled the blood of children.” He said boring his eyes into Gabriel, his heart sank at that notion. “We have come to you as emissaries, each taking a hand that guided your soul. But now the time has come to collect, and you sit on the line of grey.” She said her eyes seeming so empty. The fat man giggled “Yes we have, you have a new purpose Gabriel, indeed you do.” He said hoping around. “You have three Innocent souls in your count to two hundred and fifty. If you keep this up, you'll be coming to Hell Gabriel.” He accented with a wicked grin. “But if you slay and collect the souls of the evil doers, you can transcend into heaven. But you have to have the majority of either.” The woman said with a cold tone. Gabriel was so overwhelmed “What happens if I fall on the line again?” he said with a quiver in his voice. “Purgatory” the both said in unison and with a tone that sounded with venom. “Your soul is valuable Gabriel, even if it has the taint of a demon right now.” Said the woman with what almost sounded like sadness. “Your soul is a powerful piece and Heaven would like to have it.” “Ah fuck off you armoured harlot, Gabriel belongs in hell. With all the souls he has given us. Imagine the power, you will be able to control a vast legion of demons and corrupted souls Gabriel, this is what the Morning Star sees for you in the city of Diss You will not be a slave of Heaven, but a leader in Hell.” The fat greasy man said with gusto. “The choice is yours Gabriel, when you leave this room you and your companion will meet the “Father” for some what of an orientation. Keep in mind what your doing Gabriel, you will get your reward from him, but after that year is up your soul is finding it's place in the Heavens.” Gabriel found himself outside the door, he fell to the floor and didn't move, his memories over came him then. He screamed.
