Back-Story: Masaru is actually the cousin of the Prince, though he has never been very close. When he was young, he also was met with the supernatural. However, it was not the devil like his cousin. It was dark spirits. They tormented him for years, before finally making a contract with them. He would gain their power and knowledge if he allowed them to use his body as a home. However, they did not create his hatred for the empire. That was the fault of family. His brother and sisters, as well as parents were killed in an assassination attempt. He later found out that it was for political power in the end. Deciding that all who supported the empire had to be crushed. He decided to lead one of the groups that left the empire. However, he keeps his identity hidden, preferring to lead from behind the scenes. Ironically, he still plays his roll as one of the Empires minor political figures.
