Spoiler: Bit of BackstoryThe Peaceful Kingdom of Rionn, with it's great forests and open sea. It's ruling family has seen a time of peace. Sixty to seventy years ago supernatural forces threatened the Kingdom, in response. The King summoned two great families. The Rhodes, who lived by the sea, and the Morrigans, who lived in the mountains. He gave them status, and tasked them to use his men wisely to defend against the attackers. The Rhodes dealt with the raiders from the sea, mounting defenses from their beaches, and attacks in the waters. Grieaen's bay, known for it's shallow waters became the popular spot for the attacks.
The Morrigans, dealt with the shape-shifters. Half men, half beasts these creatures stole cattle and children. Lacking the natural silver, and craftsmen, they imported an array of silver arms and armor, a weakness that they found many shifters holding.
In retaliation both Shifters and Raiders increased their efforts, focusing mainly on the military supplies the kingdom used against them. Concentrating the war effort, the King summoned upon the blacksmiths of the kingdom to gather and mass produce replacements for what they've lost. From their children, and the sons and daughters of those who lost their lives defending the kingdom Volunteers emerged. Fighting back the supernatural forces despite their inexperience. Eventually.. the threat ended, and the King saw fit to make nobles out of the primary leaders of both the volunteer army, and the blacksmiths. Thus, the Ironcutters and Fairfields joined the list of nobles.
Later, the Guttenbergs joined the nobles. The head of the time, a well known business man was charged with maintaining the Kingdoms finances, and watching the other four families. Especially the Fairfields and Ironcutters, common-folk who were granted status during a time of great danger. Thanks to this, they deal directly with the King on many matters.
Spoiler: PlotThe royal family calls upon all his vassals to meet him in the castle. Even the Guttenbergs do not seem to know why. So of course the head of the families must come. With utmost importance the King summons them, inviting them to his home, his halls, and his table.
"The fate of Rionn and possibly even Yale is at stake if all rings true."
OOC note: This rp will end when the issue is resolved.
Spoiler: RULES!All RPA rules, as usual, is applied.
Unlike my other RPs fighting will not be the highlight of the plot (fighting fight...). While yes you can be a warrior-lord. Direct combat isn't necessary to the RP.
In terms of houses: For the sake of balance, the first player to align themselves to one of the noble families will be considered the "Head of House." Who will have an appropriate age. Until all five families have a "Head of House" I will not accept sub-members of those families.
You can have two characters, however you can't have two "Heads of House."
Murdering/assassination of nobles of your house or another must be accepted by both sides.

Age: 19
Gender: male
How are you related to the Head of House?: he is the head
Appearance: https://weheartit.com/entry/103297020...uery=character
Personality: Drake is a kind hearted person but his attitude is cold towards most so you can't tell. Drake's twin sister Danny is one of his main priorities but his job to oversee the ocean always comes first. Drake is a person who's mind can't be put off from whatever he does and he doesn't like being bossed around. Maybe it's because he's almost never bossed around. Drake would do anything to keep the people he protects safe even if it means dying and he is extremely loyal to those he holds dear.
Bio: Drake and his sister, Danny were born by the sea like most and since he was the only boy he was destined to be head. Drake and Danny had to go through all kinds of classes about how to treat those who don't have much power and money or how to act like a proper noble man/woman. Drake found a passion in inventing and sometimes if he asks, Danny will be his assistant. He doesn't much like fighting but learned that as well. When Drake and Danny were fifteen their mother died of poison. After that, the twins didn't trust most people but each other.
Ideal of the perfect kingdom: A kingdom that lives in peace with others.
Spoiler: DanielName: Daniel (Danny) Rhode

How are you related to the Head of House?: sister
Appearance: https://weheartit.com/entry/88882411/...red+anime+girl
Personality: Danny is an energetic outgoing person. She says what she thinks and isn't afraid to give her opinion on anything no matter what it is. Just like her brother, Danny hates being bossed around. If anything it's one of the things she despises most. She doesn't much like being lady-like but when the time comes for it, she tolerates it.
Bio: Danny and Drake were the only children of the queen who died when they were fifteen. Soon after the queen died, their father died as well. The twins are entirely capable of living on their own of course but sometimes Danny gets lonely. She misses her mother who was the only one to get her hatred of being lady-like and her father, who despite everything, always cared for her and her brother. When Drake became head of the house hold Danny was often alone and it was really difficult for her. She and Drake hardly get time together anymore. Honestly, Danny misses the days when they went to try and invent things.
Ideal of the perfect kingdom: One that freed up a bit of her brother's time
Spoiler: MorriganName: Maximilian Morrigan (The Family of Morrigan)
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Relation to the head of the house: I am the head of the house!
Appearance: A stature of a human giant basically. He stands five and eleven inches, above average height. He is quite lean, weighing 130 pounds. Though he may not look buff or strong, he uses it to his advantage as he is moves swiftly and flexibly. His feet are a normal size for his body, a size 11 shoe size. His torso is longer than his legs, but his legs still look quite long and slim. His eyes are almond-shaped, with a dark brown hue added in. His eyes when standing in the daylight shimmer radiantly, looking quite attractive to some. His eyebrows, slightly above his almond eyes (where they should be) are not fine per say, but slightly bushier. His nose that lay in the middle of his partly tanned skin, it is average size. It is not rounded much, and it does not jut out much either. His lips, almost a faded peach, stretch from below his nose to the ends of his cheeks when he smiles. His smile also does not end in any dimples, or that’s what people see since they’re so faint. His hair is straight quite long for a guy, going down to his shoulders, and coming to a small wave near the end. It is quite long near the front, but Maximilian never lets his hair go down past his eyes, as it leads to his sight being slightly reduced. Now his Vanity is quite strange for his fighting style. He usually dresses in very classy clothes. He usually wears a dress suit; the ones with the tails, such as you see composers or conductors wearing, and pants to match it. Max’s favorite pair is his full set of white dress clothes. They have silver buttons around the shoulder, with slight pads to make his shoulder look like they jut out a bit. The back doesn’t have much special on it, it just has two black lines symmetrically going down and forming a swirl on the tails of the dress suit. The pants have nothing special, they’re just plain white, but the belt that connects it is black and studded with diamonds, rubies, and sapphires. His shoes are slick but flexible so he can maneuver in combat when needed, and are easy to get on and off. They are a slick black with a slightly faded sole from walking around the mountains for extended periods of time.
Spoiler: Biography/Personality (So read it ;)Maximilian, or Max for short, was raised in the mountain. His parents were not very close to him, but they cared for him so he couldn’t say anything at all. His parents taught him the ways of swordplay through rapier. He was not built muscularly, but ways of flexibility and agility. Until the age of eleven, his parents were his trusted tutors, but were unfortunately slain in a past battle against the shape shifters. There were two of them, and about six of them, Max saw it all… but it didn’t faze him for some reason. This encounter only made him think that he has to protect the people he loves. The servants quickly pulled Max away from the shape shifters’ eyesight and closed the balcony doors where he had been watching from.
From that day, February 11th to the day he was seventeen, the servants started training him rigorously with the rapier to hone his skills. On the day of his seventeenth birthday, October 30th, he was gifted from the servants a pristine rapier, seemed to be made of shinning titanium. It was silver in color, but since it was titanium, and extremely sharpened on top of it, it was much more durable and deadly. The one servant named Fredrick said the words of encouragement to him. These words had boomed through his head every day, “Your father would be proud.” For the next few months, which training with the rapier and walking through the thicket with it in his hands, he wondered how it could be true. “How could my father be proud of me? I let him die…” Days went by slowly, doing the same thing every day, until one fateful day came for Maximilian...
Max was twirling his rapier in his hands, thinking about what would approach him the next day. There was no word from the king, and nothing from the servants that had sworn their lives for him. His concentration was broken by a groan of displeasure nearby. Max turned his head to the Northwest where he had heard the voice through the bushes. He readied his rapier and pushed the bushes away, in his sight was a beautiful woman who was badly wounded. Her skin was fair; her hair was slick, and silky, dragging down to her upper back. Her shoulders we broad, but she still seemed frail, not muscular, just like Max. Her eyes were rounded and green; her eyebrows were fine and similar color to her hair, brown. The lovely lady’s lips were quite small and scarlet, matching her fair skin perfectly. The first time she saw him she got startled and recoiled painfully, blood was rushing down from her arms and face.
Max put away his rapier and helped her up, or at least put out his hands to request assistance. She put out her on his gingerly and he pulled her up cautiously. Max was surprised; she was almost as tall as him: she was 5 feet and 10 inches! Max looked down at her hand he was holding as they scurried to his manor. Her nails were slim, but also looked quite sharp to the touch. When arriving at the house, Max explained the situation to the servants, and they whole-heartily agreed to his terms. The servants and Max cared for her in her time of need, and while she was recovering, Max got to know her better. She was a very courageous woman, and protects those close to her, as Max wanted to. She wielded a bow and arrow, or no weapon at all. He was skeptical, but about two months into their relationship… they started getting closer.
It was getting close to Max’s eighteenth birthday by now, and he didn’t even notice since time went by so fast with the woman in his proximity. A night came to Max was standing outside of his balcony, where he saw his father being slain by the shape shifters. He heard his door open slowly, then close swiftly and quietly, with footsteps following. The lady came up to Max and put her hand on Max’s, looking at him with a smile. Her lips curled and a tear rolled down her cheek. Max looked over, confused at what was going on. Her mouth opened up and she let out a whisper. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to Max…” He tilted his head gently and rubbed her hand as it lay on the balcony railing. He asked what she meant when she aid sorry. “I only just noticed now as I walked out here… That little boy years ago was you wasn’t it?” Max turned his head away from the woman slightly and closed his eyes.
“Yes, that was me. I take it you were the shape shifter, or one of them that killed my father?” The woman nodded and picked up Max’s hand, and clasped it into her other one. Max pulled out his rapier that was by his side and handed it to the woman. “This was my father’s… It should have been stained with your blood…” Max turned to the woman and held his remaining hand onto the top of the pile, the rapier clanged to the group, making a gentle echo in the wind. “But I’m glad it wasn’t. Now I realize that I want you by my side, as my wife.” Max let out a sighing laugh and turned to the moon in the sky. “What am I saying, I don’t even know you’re name yet and I’m talking about marriage!” She tilted forward and killed Max on the lips to silence him in the night, and all that was heard were the cricket, and all that was seen was the glow from the moon shinning down on them. As the kiss released, max let out a smile and nudges his head in the direction of the bed. “It’s my eighteenth birthday today, you know.” She smiled and walked her white gown over to the bed, slowly taking it off so it doesn’t rip and hanging it in the gigantic closet Max owned.
“My name is Evelynn. Now you know, now let’s get to business shall we lover boy?” Max walked inside and closed the balcony, the moon’s yellow glow still shining through the glass. Max took off his dress pants, shirt, and shoes until he was about half naked and jumped into bed with Evelynn. “Let us have the time of our lives, my love.” They did what all lovers do, and you know what that is. So they had the lovely night together, and fell asleep close to each other on Max’s soft cotton bed. The morning was a totally different stir for Maximilian when he woke in the morning.
Evelynn was not by his side… neither was his rapier. Was he fooled by a shaper shifter? Was he told lies the whole night? It was still the wee hours of the morning when Max jumped out of bed to search for Evelynn. He slipped on a morning gown, for men of course and walked to the door. Once he opened the door, Evelynn was there about to open the door; the rapier was in her hand… it looked different. She waltzed in and sat down on the messy bed, placing the rapier at her side. Evelynn patted the bed and Max went over and sat next to her. “I have some things I have to explain to you, Maximilian… and I’m sorry I didn’t tell you about it earlier.” She explained that now her powers of Magic and shape shifting were transferred over to Maximilian. This news didn’t seem to bother him, and she was quite honestly surprised. “Why are you scared or anything?”
Max looked over to Evelynn and held her hand, taking out a box. Evelynn looked at the black box and her eyes started to tear up. “I don’t care about that. I love you, and if we can be the same, then I’m fine with it by any means. Now Evelynn… will you marry me?” Evelynn started to cry as Max opened the box, revealing a ring made of live trees, brown gold, and encrusted with small diamonds around the swirling branches. She put her hand out and Max put it on her finger.
“Oh Max, of course I will marry you.” Evelynn picked up the rapier and handed it to Max. “Here, this is what I can give you for now… it isn’t much by any means.” He took a gander at it… it had strange engravings on it, each one had a different color. “Since you have the powers of shape shifting and magic in you now, this will act as a catalyst for that. You can cast spells with this rapier in your hand for now, until you get used to it on your own. Shape shifting comes naturally though; I warn you the first time it will hurt a bunch, and you may even black out from the pain…” Max gave Evelynn a gently hug and took the rapier generously, felling the strange powers swell into his body. “Now I have one request. Will you keep peace between the humans and the shape shifters with me? I am the queen of the shape shifters, and I want you to be a guardian for us. Will you please, for me, for all of us?” Max contemplated for a second and nodded his head.
So now Maximilian became a guardian for both the humans and the shape shifters. They have now been together for 8 years, and it is the best time of their lives. The two couldn’t think of being apart for more than a few hours. They understood this though seeing as they both had different business. They wish it would be as simple as “Happily ever after,” but there is unfortunately the king.
Ideal Kingdom: Peace between the shape shifters and humans.
