[M] The rejects: A Quest For Freedom [Pusheen&P.K] [IC]

Deep within a facility unbeknownst to the public, they take homeless childeren and adults alike, ones they know others won't miss if they disappear and conduct experiment's on them at their leisure. Testing out formula's and other concoctions with dangerous side effects. Some aren't even human afterward, while others gain powers they might not even be able to control...and the worse thing is, they're stuck in that facility until they die from age or the experiments, not wanting any of they're work to reach public ears.

A bell wrang loudly, and the many cell doors had opened automatically, as well as Jasper's. Although he didn't want to leave he knew they'd probably force him to anyway. Not to mention this was the only time of day they would give the sane rejects some time to stretch their legs and socialize. So he left, placing his bare feet on the floor and timidly making his way out towards the large room where many others were. He didn't have any friends..barely. And the ones he did know took a while to find on his own, so he found comfort in simply huddling up in a corner for now and remaining quiet, often passing glances at the many weird individual that walked by..not that he was any normal.

kopya left the room with a somewhat concentrated frown on her face, her eyes far away as she moved down to the less familiar room then her 'room' Others followed and or came before her. She paused at the side of the door for a moment looking at the faces, she recognized them all but knew no one. some gathered into groups, other wondered between. She herself staid in the background as she watched and listened for the moment. After a moment she moved further into the room, but she avoided most groups as she moved for the far wall. she couldn't speak, not well enough to join into a conversation, so why would some one wish to speak to her?

Kopya continued to walk but half way across the room she went back into her clouded thoughts. Her eyes once again far way, concentrating as if she was searching for something inside. why she did this she wasn't sure but it was like a habit now, search for something she couldn't find, had she simply forgotten it? or was it take from her? she couldn't remember that either.

Kopya's thought was interrupted as she ran right into a large man. She began to stutter out a difficult apology when the man growled and pushed her to the side, She couldn't be sure if he'd meant to push her so hard but Her back met the wall and she slid down to sit heavily with something of a sigh, weather she should be relived or still worried, but ti seemed he had no interest in doing her harm. Rather then getting back up she remained where she was, she'd landed not far from another boy who seemed to be around her age, whatever that might be. But she didn't think of speaking to him, what would she say? so she drew her knees to her chest deciding it would be safer to stay in place now.

Jasper happened to notice what had went down with the large man and Kopya, although doing harm to her didn't seem intentional..hitting against the wall like that looked like it'd hurt a little. He then turned his head to look at her, but she seemed to have no interest in him. At least he thought so. Maybe....trying to talk to her wouldn't be a good thing?.. Jasper wasn't sure, but his more curious side had an idea, despite his shyness.

'A.....a little revenge..' He thought, looking at the large man that had pushed Kopya, and then concentrating..a very small ball of flame appeared on one of his fingertips and he flicked it towards the large mans close, it caught fire, and he began to panic, dropping himself on the ground and rolling around..looking silly overall. "Y...Your welcome.." Jasper then said in her direction for a moment.

Kopya watched with wide eyes as the man that had pushed her earlier began to roll on the ground, looking pretty silly, but frightened. she turned to look at the boy in the corner. She was astonished, why would he do that? "w..." she struggled to form the word for a moment. "...hy? why?" She was confused and maybe a little upset, she didn't want to cause harm to other people.

"Why?....because being pushed and hitting your back against the wall looked like it hurt..so I returned the favor. But...you don't look to happy, I guess my punishment later today won't be worth it then." Jasper said, the thought of potentially getting lashed at or more needle's being injected into him making him a bit wary. "Too late to regret what the camera's have already seen.."

Kopya paled slightly as he mentioned the punishment, that made her feel a little bad for not being more grateful for his thoughtfulness? "I...s-s...rry." she struggled for a moment as she glanced around looking at the Cameras that watched them all the time. "tha-nk y...ou, It w-was tho-ughtful..."

Jasper wasn't expecting her to thank him, or apologize...but she did. She obviously had a bit of difficulty speaking, but her words were still understandable. Although her words alone wouldn't be able to ease the pain he might feel later on, it was...still glad to be thanked from someone after so many years. "Again....your welcome...my name is Jasper, by the way."

Kopya listened as he said that she was welcome, again. And that his name was Jasper. "Kopya..." she said quietly as she put a hand to her chest indicating that that was her name. she wondered then if there was something she could do to keep him from suffering punishment later.

"Well...it's nice to meet someone that doesn't wanna pick a fight for once..so,glad I could meet you." Jasper replied to Kopya, the faintest of smiles on his face...until a few men in suits, ones usually worn when they're prepared to hold down potentially dangerous rejects approached.

The tallest of the small group spoke, with a clipboard in hand. "Jasper Cray, you thought your little trick would go unnoticed, but this time we will not allow such disobedience. Grab him, and take the young girl to. It appears she had a hand in this fiasco." the man with the clipboard declared, before the others accompanying quickly grabbed Jasper, and Kopya before he or she could react, they're grip on Jasper especially was too strong to simply break free from. "N-No! Let go of me! I don't want anymore needles!.." He shouted, evidently in fear. Unlike most Jasper was a bit dangerous. Not because of what he can do..but what he could be able to do, it was one of the reasons why he'd be called upon and experimented on the most...it was the reason that he was scared to death.

Kopya saw the smile, however small she thought it was nice, but it vanished when the white coats came in. kopya was inclined to obey, most of the time but Jasper... Generally Kopya didn't make a fuss about going where the white coats wanted her to be, but she noticeably bulked this time. "N-no!" she started, afraid, but not for herself. She scrambled out of the grasping hands of two of the white coats. some one's fingers grazing her back but she moved on.

"L-leave aa-alone!" she said latching onto the arm of one of the men clutching Jasper. "L-l-t go!" She demanded. Quite suddenly kopya became two as the other sprang to the other man and clutched his arm as well in an attempt to stop them from dragging Jasper away.
