Mika and Cappie are seniors with no sight for the future. Cappie go through a bad break up and Mika's mom just recently left. The only thing they count on is each other. They just try to survive their last year.
Mika
Mika walked down the halls of Farqmont high, coming back from spring break. Her head hung low as she looked for her best friend Cappie. Mika wasn't herself, she hadn't been for some time now. Her usual spirit was gone. Replaced with a cloud of overbearing cloud of depression hanging over her head.
David swung open the doors of Faramont high. He wasn't particularly happy about school being in, but he was glad to be back with his buddies. David had his backpack hanging off his right shoulder, it was the same one he's had for years. The raggedy thing was basically ripping at the seams.
Cappie went up to her friend. She had tried to be supportive lightly, but it was hard. Mostly because she herself need support. Her last boyfriend cheated on her then, dumped her. It made her feel like a failure. But, her friend needed her so, she pushed that all away and tried to help.
"Hey Mika, you okay?" She asked, smiling at her friend. She looked down.
Austin was new. He hated being new. He didn't want to graduate at a school he hardly knew. though, through most of the year, he made pretty good friends. He had one girl he almost dated, but she turned out to be....less than he expected. So, he just hoped for better when he graduated. He walked in after spring break and went to find his friend, Alan.
"Am I okay?" Mika asked, looking up at her friend, "Are you okay?" She asked being sympathetic. Cappie was her very best friend and she would more then willing to put her problems aside for her.
David turned corner after corner, searching for his friends Tommy and Eric. He couldn't seem to find them anywhere. They were always ditching him as a joke, so he figured they were just hiding from him.
"I'm fine. He was a jerk and I just need to move on. You're mom...you can't replace a mother." Cappie explained to her, looking around. She was looking for every opportunity to make her ex jealous. She just wanted things to go back to...before.
Austin found his friend. Though, Alan was extremely hungover from partying the night before. He saw one of his side friends looking around.
"Hey! Dave!" He called to him, feeling bad for him. He knew what was up.
Mika looked into her friends eyes. What Cappie said was completely true and it also hurt Mika inside. Her eyes started tearing up, and her lipped quivered. Mika wrapped her hands around her best friend and shortly cried. The crying turned into anger. "Screw my mom. Fuck her. Fuck all her rules," Mika said stepping back from her friend, "Let's do something that both my mom and Jake wouldn't like. Let's go on a dude rampage. Lets get as many guys as we can this year. In fact, let's make it a contest. Whoever bags the most guys by the end of the year wins." Mika felt proud of the plan she had created, but also fearful her friend would shoot her down.
David looked over to see Austin waving at him. "Bro!," he shouted, as he walked over to his friend, "how ya been?" He asked, holding out his hand for a "bro-shake".
Cappie looked shocked.
"What are you even talking about?" She was a little freaked out that her friend would say that.
"How do you bag a dude?" She asked. She hugged her friend, figuring that she was just angry and saying crazy things.
Austin shook his friend's hand.
"Good. Hey, Tommy and Eric got suspended yesterday." He told David, trying to be friendly. He didn't want David to spen the whole day worried about his friends.
Mika started to explain to her friend, "bagging, you know, like... From kissing to sex. A competition with different points for different actions. Come on. You said you wanted to make Jake jealous."
David started to laugh. "Great, what'd those dumbass' do this time?" His friends had always been trouble makers so hearing this news was less then shocking.
Cappie shrugged, biting her lip.
"Well, yeah, but...I don't know. I don't know if I want to sleep with any of these guys." She said thinking about the point system.
"But say we did... One point for kiss, two for making out, three for hand job, four for blow job, five for sex." She said, thinking about how much fun it could be.
"Tommy got caught spray painting the side of the school and Eric tried to cover for him. So, they're both suspended for three days. They'll be back soon." He said, patty the kid on the back. They were the same age, but David was really short com parsed to him.
"Perfect. This is going to be awesome." Mika said, grinning and looking around at all the potential "bait".
Oli stopped at his locker, to throw his backpack in. He noticed the two girls in the corner of the hall laughing. He remembered these girls, well, at least the tiny one. Oil thought to himself, "isn't that... Uh.. Carly?" Her exact name slipped his mind,but still, she was an alluring girl to him. That year he was determined to date her.
David checked out a few girls as he finished up his conversation on Tommy and Eric. "Sounds cool, hey, later you wanna get som ladies? Go out for some food or some shit?" He asked.
