    Default IFU: Pyxis

    IC THREAD : https://role-player.net/forum/showthr...26#post2042026

    Story:
You are a crew member of the IFU ship, the Pyxis. Your Captain is Captain Giana Quin. You all come from different backgrounds and different parts of the empire but despite your differences you are all stuck on this ship together.

Character Sheet: (please note that all characters will be placed on the same ship. this might change later depending on the amount of members we get, you can have a secondary character that isn't. However If you want to be something else though you can message me before posting your character and I might consider. Not all characters have to fit the traits of the race and planets I've listed below. for example: not all Armenians have to be arrogant and selfish and not all Almiden have to be peaceful.)
    Name:
    age:
Race: (Human, Tasmanians, Almiden (also put nationality))
Bio: ( where your character is from? family? Why the IFU? Etc. note you don't have to be from the planet your race is from as long as it makes sense.)
    Personality:
Appearance: (A brief description is that is needed but a picture would be nice too.)
Extra: (anything else you'd like to add. )

    Facts of this Universe:
The current governing body of the solar system is the Armenian Empire. It's center is the planet of Armena. The Empire is rich in it's capital, however most of it's colonies are poor and unhappy. It has strict laws over their colonies that are enforced by it's large and powerful Imperial Fleet. It's government is widely corrupt and controlled by the Armenian council. Though there are many different languages in the empire (Kassitian, Alidic, Yazatian ), most people in the empire speak the imperial language. Rebellion in the Empire is rare due to their power and strength but six years ago a rebellion did break out on Yazata by it's native people, the rebellion lasted just two years before it was crushed. The rebellion destroyed much of the planet before it ended. The Rebellion, though it failed, was a turning point in the empire, and four years later, it's effects are still felt even outside of Yazata, people are questioning the empire even more.

    The Pyxis:
She is a Mirrored Skyliner, who was a cruise line that traveled between Armenia and Sadima. She actually originally was not suited for the kind of rough housing she is put through as a cargo ship. Her model was discontinued and became rather out dated so she was left in a junk yard before eventually being bought by the IFU who held on to her for several years in their docks untouched before She was given to Captain Quin, in rather rough shape as well. Her name was changed from the Veronica to the Pyxis after she was done being remodeled.

There are about 65 people on the crew of the Pyxis. Though really the majority of them don't stay for long. Not just because of Captain Quin but just because they are movers or are hired for specific reasons for a specific job. People come and go a lot but at most times 65 is about how many people are aboard. There are a mix of races and nationalities on the ship. The majority are human, mostly from tengri or Osseti, as you will find most people in shipping are. There are a few kassitians other than the captain as well and a hand full of yazatians. Finding an Armenian is rare on the ship, though you can find some of armenian decent like most everyone else they probably actually come from Tengri or Osseti. About twenty-five precent of the crew are tasmanian, though tengri or Osseti born with little ties to their native home. There is a very small percentage of Almiden on board.

    The Goddess Navidi:
All the planets in the empire believe in a goddess by the name of Navadi, however her story varies between the planets. On, Armena, She is believed to be a vengeful goddess that tossed the universe into chaos to wipe out the unclean, they live in fear of her and is the reason their culture focuses on purity of many different kinds, purity of the body, of the mind and of blood.
On Kassite, she is believed to have been a human woman, that became a goddess and saved the world after destruction came, her spirit now guides over the world. She is a goddess that is worshiped for beauty, kindness and forgiveness.
On Yazata, she is the mother of their five gods, some of who are evil, some of who are good. Their royal family is suppose to be the reincarnation of these gods.
On Sadima, she is an outsider who came upon their solar system and fell in love with it, and much like on Kassite she is a guardian of protection and love.

    Independent Flight Union (IFU) :
The IFU is an organization of ships for hire. Whatever the job, they'll get it done. The IFU as the name suggests is not a fleet but independent ships that get their orders only from their captain. Being signed with the IFU's seal however allows them to get IFU approved jobs to earn money and the seal also make easy passage into most ports. In return for being signed with the union, the IFU will keep their ships flying. The IFU has a shaky reputation, mainly due to the imperial fleet's slander. The IFU does many jobs that the imperial Fleet will also do but at a cheaper rate as well as some under the table jobs that aren't always legal, making not all the slander the Imperials spread false.
The IFU has it's own Flight Academy located on Osseti, where many young people turn to get an education in starships. Due to the poor state of many in the empire their isn't much options for people to get out of poverty so many turn to the stars in hopes of making profit. The Imperial Flight Academy is to expensive and most can not afford it so the IFU Academy of Flight is a cheaper option, however it is hard to get into. All who attend the academy have passed the nearly impossible entrance exam. Those who pass will go on to study and train to prepare them to fly. After completing their study at the academy they are placed under the charge of an IFU captain who will decide after they've served under them, rather they are ready to graduate. Upon graduation some (chosen by their former captain) are rewarded with a ship, who they must find a crew for, many of who may be their former classmates.

    Planets:

    Armena
Armena is the most powerful and richest planet in the solar system. It has a much lower poverty rate than it's colonies. It is the location of the Armenian Council, which is inside it's capital of Va'lita. It's government is largely corrupt with powerful families staying in control of it's government and fleet. Armena is controlled by the Armenian council which is made up of 9 council men and a Prime minster, who is elected by the rest of the council and stays in office until he's forced out, again by the council and replaced. Those who wish to join the council are required to be of Armenian blood and to be recommended by two council men then elected in by the council.
It's planet is very vast in it's landscape, it has large oceans, tall mountains and deep forests, though most of it has been man developed into large clean crystal cities. It however has no deserts on it's planet and no real summer. Though the weather is not freezing all year, it rarely goes over 70 degrees, in it's warmer months. Due to the advance technology on the planet it has little fear of strong and power storms that once plagued the planet.
Natives of the Armena are typically fair skinned who in their prime may have nearly flawless complexions. Their eyes are wide and light in color. Most Armenian men are tall and broad shouldered. Woman average shorter than men but are still fairly tall.

    Kassite
Kassite isn't as much a colony as it is in alliance with the Armena. It still has it's own independent government that pays taxes to the empire as well as it has it's own fleet which is at the empires aid, which it proved in the Yazatian Rebellion. Kassite's fleet was actually the ones that crushed the rebels, the Imperial Fleet not taking it seriously. The Kassitian Fleet can be recognized by it's green uniforms. Kassite was one of the few planets that willingly welcomed Armenian control, and due to such as seen many benefits. The planet is prosperous with a rich middle class. Kassite's own government is made up of a Royal family and a Parliament. Everyone on Kassite is required to spend four years serving the government, many join the fleet, though there are other options as well.
Much like Armena it is very man developed with many beautiful cities but also has a large country side.

Kassite before Imperial role was very poor and even their government and rich were suffering, which is why they gave into the imperials before they had a chance to attack their already weakened planet. Which of course gave them many benefits, however not all of Kassite is happy about giving into the imperials and some call the council and the royal family cowards. There is a small political war going on in Kassite though it's very minor and usually the people who want the imperials out are considered extremist and out dated and are not taken seriously anymore.
In the cities Kassitians have taken on many Aremenian traits, its actually a popular trend for young girls to bleach their darker eyes , to make them lighter like their Aremenian idols.
However in the country, many of Kassitians old traditions still stand. Kassitians culture is not made up on a family structure but a clan system, of families that marry into each other for their benefit, it was a custom that started when marriage was seen as an option when a family came upon hard times, marrying into a powerful clan could give you economic stability, one wouldn't have without. Though the clan system is less needed, it still grows. The clans are very private and there isn't much in the line of local
authority outside of the clans who will usually handle their own business, and the justice system allows them to take matters into their own hands when things arise. Though "honor killings" have become less common sense imperial rule, they still happen and nothing is done about them. The Clans are typically controlled by elders but all clans have different ranks and traditions.

It's people are of light to tan skin, and have dark hair. Their heights very.

Kassitian Fleet Academy: Located on Kassite is the Kassitian fleet academy, an alternative to the imperial academy for young kassitians. The academy takes kids in at age 12, and after graduation are expected to join the Kassitian fleet. The Kassitian Fleet academy however is know for being one of the harshest school in the empire. Many of the students having been beaten to death by professors there. A school that picks out and devours the weak. For female students it's even worse with a high possibility of them being raped by their superiors. The harsh treatment here, though widely known, nothing has been done about it. The empire only continues to encourage the treatment at this school because it beats any sense of identity out of it's students and encourages loyalty to the empire. Any comment against the empire is subject to investigation, no matter how young the student it could have dire consequences.

    Yazata
Yazata is the furthest planet from Armena in the empire. Six years ago Yazata rebelled against the empire but failed, though many still believe that the rebels that were not caught and executed are waiting to strike again.
Yazata like the other colonies is controlled by a governor that is put in place by the Council, typically a retired captain of the imperial fleet, though sometimes a son or daughter of a council member. Yazata before being conquered by Armena was controlled by a “Royal family”. However their Royal family was not made up of blood relatives but of people selected at birth to govern the people. It was a complicated and strange ritual that planet's people had used for centuries and were happy with. They believed that the people selected were of a higher being of people, reincarnations of their gods.
Yazata is still in recovery from the Rebellion and many of it's natives hate the rebels as much as they do the empire and blame the rebels making their situation much worse.
The planet's landscape is made of mostly desert and grasslands. Other than it's once great capital it's mostly made of small poor settlements.

Yazata's human people are typically of dark to tan skin with dark eyes and hair. However also native to the planet is the Tasmanians, a reptile race from the desert. Even under imperial rule they still practice many of their strange traditions and beliefs.

The Tasmanians originate from the eastern sand sea of Yazata. it is in the sand sea that they built caverns under ground throughout the desert. They lived in small tribes lead by a spiritual leader, or elder. The tasmanian culture is one of the only cultures throughout the solar system that does not worship the goddess Navidi, or mention her in their legends or myths at all. Their religion focused mostly on the sun as it's god and the earth as it's mother but it has long sense died out, long before the empire. The yazatian humans and tasmanians are two very different cultures that are rarely mentioned as one collective group.
As for Tasmanians now days, many of them have picked up one of the navidi religions that are spread through out the human and almiden cultures, though the majority haven't and don't practice any specific religion at all. Tasmanians had no attachment to their home planet after the enslavement so after they were freed many left and immigrated through the empire, they are in large numbers on Tengri and Osseti. A large number of them have turned to the shipping industry, though due to racial tensions it is still rare to find one as a captain.

    Sadima

Sadima is known for it's rich and vibrant culture. It's occupants, the Almiden are peaceful and therefore did not object to imperial rule, in order to avoid a massacre of their people. Much like the Yazakians they are very traditional and still practice many of their old rituals. The planet is a popular religious and tourist site. Many people come to receive enlightenment from one of it's many temples, others come to visit their tropical resorts.

The Order is Sadima's church of Navidi. Before Imperial rule it was also it's governing body. The Order compares a bit to the Catholic church in that it has a lot to do with every day living in Sadima, though less over the years as imperial influence spreads over it's citizens. It used to be common for families to give up their oldest son to the Order, where they were raised and educated with little contact from their families and the outside world. Most of these sons would later join the order and join it's ranks. The practice of giving up your eldest son has died over the years though sending your sons to the order to be educated is still very common and highly regarded, usually around the age of 9.
The Order is all men but there is a small temple that are the sisters of the order, (a name I have yet to come up with.) Girls however join in their late teens. The girls are completely cut-off from the world and when in public must hide their faces. Both the order and their female counter parts are extremely gifted in their mental abilities.

    Tengri
Tengri, also known as the shipping dock. It was once a waste land terraformed by the empire. It's the smallest planet in the system and is located in the middle of it so it is a popular resting spot for starships, pirates and mercenaries, the imperial fleet and the IFU can all be found here in it's shops, taverns and clubs. It is also the center of the black market and many shady deals go on in it's dark allies. It is one of the most dangerous planets in the system if one finds oneself in the wrong place. The planet has no native people , the planet was lifeless until it was terraformed by the empire.

Tengri ports are rather unstable as they are always being bought and sold making it difficult for those who landed on them to know what to expect. Most ports on Tengri are privately owned by corporations that made merchants pay rent to put up shop there, it is profitable business for all involved, most of the time. It isn't uncommon for corporations to charge high fees for the privilege to use their port but most learned that the more you charged the less people used your port because there are always cheaper options. Other ports are imperial. They are nicer and cleaner ports that are mostly used by imperial ships and ships carrying rich travelers rather than cargo ships and those trying to earn a living. The imperial ports are to expensive so most working ships avoided them when they can. However that is not always possible when the imperials decide to take possession of a privately owned port.
the only other ports on the planet are a few kassitian outposts that are used only by the kassitian fleet as a place to refuel.

Tish a popular illegal drug on Tengri and popular among crews. It can be smoked or added to water like tea and drank. It originates from Sadima and used to be used by priests for some kind of spiritual awakening. It's still commonly used for such in small clubs on Tengri as well as for leisure. One can inherit a taste for it though most people who've had the drug know how to mange their use of it.

    Osseti
Osseti is a strange planet compared to the others in that most of it's once great culture has been lost after it was made a colony. It's people come from all over in hopes of finding a better life without the discrimination they would get on Armena or Kassite. Osseti is mainly a export planet for Armena. It is filled with cramped large cities that house thousands of poorly paid workers. Most of the planet's population lives in small dirty apartments that are more like shacks that usually houses either one large family or several smaller families. Despite it's poor conditions it is actually one of the more prosperous colonies. It is also the planet the IFU academy is located and it brings many people to the planet in hopes of passing it's entrance exam.
It's Landscape was once filled with large woodlands and mountains but most of it has been man developed and polluted.

The Black Zone is a large percentage of the planet that is "blacked out". It's where all the Osseti natives that still rebelled against the empire were sent. The only "true" Osseti natives are there. The black zone isn't talked about much mostly because of rumors that the empire still sends rebels there. How things are in the black zone are unknown due to the silence over the whole affair. But it is known to be unpleasant. The whole place is heavily guarded and no one is allowed in or out without imperial order. The people that live there now are decedents of the original prisoner's there and empire shows no sign of allowing these people or their decedents to leave. All that remains of Osseti's culture survives in the black zone.

    Arcane:
    An imperial prison satellite.

    Eurpoii:
Like Tengri it was meant to be terraformed by the empire but the project was stopped mid-way and the Empire abandoned the planet. The planet is off-limits. There are many rumors that surround the sudden leaving and abandoning of Giana.

    Races:

Humans – most of the population of the empire are human and are native to the solar system.

Tasmanians – once a slave race from Yazata, used by the empire. However they were granted freedom several decades ago, though there is still much discrimination towards them. Many of these were involved in the rebellion. They are reptilian, their skin colors range from dark greens to light browns. They are tall with long large tails. Their heads are fairly human shaped though narrower around the mouth with small sharp teeth.

Pharii Fever is a Tasmanian virus, though humans have been known to catch it, however its no where near as deadly as it is for the Tasmanians. The virus gets it's name from the mines in Pharii, Yazata, where Tasmanians used to work as slaves. the virus was breed and spread in their small and dirty quarters. The virus isn't actually deadly, but it leads to a tasmanian becoming so weak he actually starves to death or dies of dehydration from being unable to eat and keep food and water down.

The virus causes tasmanian scales to go an ashy white in patches which slowly spread. The ashy white patches are the only real tell that a tasmanian has contracted the virus and a fever and a dry cough may seem very minor at first but quickly starts to become more serious within about week as aches become a problem as well. The virus untreated may kill a tasmanian with in a matter of three-six weeks. The virus can only be treated successfully when caught early.
Humans however that contract the virus usually only deal with a harsh fever, diarrhea and stomach aches. Though still very unpleasant, it usually only lasts a few days before the virus passes through.

Though the Pharii Fever had it's start on Yazata, nearly a century ago, it has been on the rise again in the streets of Osseti's cramped cities where it was brought by many tasmanian immigrants. There was also a rise of it in Kassitian camps during the rebellion. Even though the virus usually isn't deadly when in humans it did lead to several deaths of kassitian soldiers who were already being faced with dehydration and heat exhaustion from the desert.

    Almiden
    – The current occupants of Sadima, though not native of the planet, they were refugees from the neighboring solar system hundreds of years ago. Their to blame for Sadima's rich culture, even though their rich culture is what Sadima is known for, not much is known of their home planet, even to them. They are a hairless race, with a skin that rages from light pinks to light blues and purples. They are shorter than other races. Their bodies are mostly humanoid besides for the two long appendages that hang from the top of their heads like two pony tails. They are also covered in ancient tattoos of their native language. Many Almiden also have weak psychic abilities like being able to sense bad things or feel how a person feels, etc.

The Tattoos Almiden mark themselves with range from things such social ranks, wealth, deeds, debts, destinies, hopes, wishes, crimes and personas etc. The place a mark is put is just as important as what is put and can change the meaning of a mark enterally. The marks are religious as much as they are cultural. Marks of crimes and debts can be forced upon a person as can marks of good deeds be bestowed upon a person and at birth even be marked as what is expected of them. Other marks are chosen at certain points in a persons life, or whenever they may chose. It is a complicated custom, taken lightly by some and mis understood by outsiders but in the end they all have one simple meaning, ones journey not through life, but through the land between. The Order believes in three different worlds, The world of the Walking, The world between and the world of the sleeping. All souls who are blessed with marks may make it to the final destination of the world of then sleeping but first they must travel through the world between. These marks determine their journey, what trials they must face and redemptions must be made before their journey is done. Marks can lengthen or shorten a persons journey depending on the mark and it's placing.

It is seen as a great dishonor to have ones markings burned off after death. To have ones markings burned off is to seal them off from the world of the sleeping and leave them endlessly wondering the world between. This is what is believed to have happened to Tamosti, an Almiden boggy man of sorts, and it is the reason he targets the living. It is believed he attempts to use his victims to give him guidance into the world of the sleeping.

As for those who are unmarked, never marked at all, there is controversy on the subject. Some Almiden believe that they are the only ones truly blessed by Navidi and that their markings is what proves it, therefore only almiden will make it to the world of the sleping and humans and tasmanians will be left like Tamosti. forever sealed off.
On the other hand some believe that being unmarked will bring one into rebirth, they remain unmarked until their job in the world of the walking is done.
another belief is simply those unmarked will be left to wonder the world between, they may make it to the world of spirits but it will be unguided and therefore long and painful.
The controversy on the subject as left the order to never mention what happens to those who are never marked.

    Currency:

    The Mint:
Mint is is the imperial currency. It is accepted in most places though isn't actually commonly used by the flyers. Inexperience travelers are asking to be robbed if they go around in the markets spending mint. Though the mint is very commonly used on Armena (Which is actually the only currently they will take) and Sadima. As well as Kassite, though Kassite is one of the few places that still accepts it's own currency, the wan (though completely useless anywhere else)

    The Gal:
Gals is a currency commonly used by flyers, and is the main currency on Tengri, and actually very few places will take mint on Tengri. Gal is easier to get ahold of and easier to use than the mint which is why most travelers prefer the gal. Most times jobs will be paid in gal and gal will be used in the markets and the crew is paid in gal. The gal became popular mainly because it is a simpler money system than the mint and most people who lack education can understand it's simple math. It's also known as the poor man's gold. It is accepted in most docks and markets but high end stores will not accept it. The imperials don't like the gal, refuse to accept it as real currency.

    A few other things:

no hybrids! Relationships can exist between two species but they can not have babies. By Species I mean human, Almiden and tasmanian. You can be mixed between the different human races.

try and be aware of other characters before you create your character sheet. I won't complain when you post it but I'd prefer to have characters that vary in background. So take a quick glance at the characters posted before you please.

The rating of this rp will be based on the players. We want to keep this a comfortable environment for everyone but I'm willing to let you all go crazy with the sexy time as long as there are no complaints. Just know it will only take ONE complaint for me to set boundaries. Feel free and message me what you are and are not ok with after you post your character sheet. I will get the news out to others it's not ok.

Name: Piper Hollywell (No-one knows her real first name)

    Age: 18

    Race: Human, Armena

Bio: born on Osseti to her colonist parents, Piper was a only child. Though the way her parents had to share a small shack with at least three other families, she could have easily claimed to have dozens of brothers and sisters and no-one would've been any the wiser.

Her Father was a poorly paid mechanic, once a high spec engineer with the IFU, now repairing anything from IFU ships or broken radios. Working with such poor conditions her Father learned how to be economical, and taught Piper everything he knew from a early age. She was soon a expert with any kind of technology.

When she was 15 she decided to head off Osseti to seek her fortune elsewhere. Eventually she ended up on Tengri. After doing the odd mechanic job she somehow found herself in a rather large smuggling ring (which she's never really left) here she learned the ins and outs of the galaxy, learning shortcuts and ways to easily cheat the law.

After a particularly bad smuggle (with a few lives being lost) Piper was almost killed but Luckily saved just in time by the Captian (Hope this is okay) who had known her Father well. She was encouraged to join the IFU and did so, passing all the technical and flying tests with flying colours (Even though she can be a reckless pilot at the best of times) Once her exams were over the Captain recruited her onto the Pyxis as Pilot.

Personality: Much like the technology she works with, Piper is very lively and almost always buzzing about something. She often gets excitable about the smallest if things, almost seeing things like a child. Piper loves agood joke and will always cack sarcastic comments (Usually at the worst of times) While some may find her bubbly nature charming most will likely find her annoying. Her heart's in the right place though.
    Most of the time.

Appearance: being of Armenian decent, pipers skin is pale and flawless. She is tall and slim with stark white hair she keeps just a bit below shoulder length. Her hair is kept out of her face by a set of aviator goggles given to her by her Father. She has big blue eyes that seem to sparkle in the dark.
    https://xx-iona-star-xx.deviantart.co...ouds-200564349

Extra: As seen before Piper's never really left her little smuggling ring. She's almost always making dodgy deals or taking things that aren't always exactly hers. She can however get you high(ish) quality equipment relatively cheap.

    TAAADAAAAA!!!
So whaddya think? Made a few reajustments :P

    (Finally getting this up )

    Name: Captain Giana Quin

    age:28

    sex:female

    race: Kassitian

    backstory:
Giana was raised only child of her parents, two members of the Quin Clan. Growing up she was raised a proper Quin warrioress like her mother. She was trained in the traditional fighting style and dance. Though the intention was for her to simply grow up to be a good wife to one of her cousins. Though Giana loved her mother, she decided to go a separate route and follow her father's foot steps and attend the Kassitian Fleet Academy. Giana's mother would die when she was 13 and away at the Academy. She took the loss extremely hard.

At the Academy she excelled and experienced little of the cruel punishment other children who did not excel as well got. However she was not completely protected. When she was fourteen she was raped by several of her upper classmates. Giana would be sent home after her injuries were so bad, mostly from fighting back.

Despite the events that accrued she returned the next semester and would later graduate at the top of her class at age 19.

Giana would later be a lieutenant in the Kassitian fleet during the rebellion and being promoted to Captain after her current one died in an attack with the rebels. She however would not remain in the fleet for much longer after that. Her time fighting in the rebellion changed her mind about fighting for the imperials and her loyalty to them.

She would return home, to later turn down several proposals, and then get in contact with the IFU, who would then give her a ship and a crew.

Currently Giana has had little to do with people back home and her old fleet friends, not that she had many. Her only family left is her father, who she still loves dearly but sees very little off.

Giana is on a mission of her own. She has told no one of what this mission is but it has to do with her time on Yazata and the death of her captain. Giana has a list of people involved with and she many plans for each of them, that won't end well for them.

    Personality:
Giana is very private, and doesn't talk much about her private life or her past and she'd prefer if other didn't either. She isn't the person anyone would want to cross because she has a rather strong vengeful streak and doesn't forget anything. People have hurt her in the past and she intends to hurt them back, some of which she already has. When it comes to her crew, she cares deeply about them and is very protective of them, saying that she isn't beyond yelling at anyone poor soul on her crew unlucky enough to screw up. Despite her hard shell, she is rather soft underneath and though she isn't one for mushy speeches her actions speak louder than words.

    Appearance:
Giana is rather tall and slim, though extremely fit. She has dark long waves parted to one side, sometimes she keeps her hair tied up but she often keeps it down. Her eyes are a dark brown and her skin is an even tan. She typically wears long black leather pants with knee high boots, of a similar leather, a thin blouse and a dark brown long fitted coat. Her clothes show off her feminine figure but are still comfortable that she can move freely in them. She also keeps a pair of side arms and a combat knife on her which she has for defense plus her martial arts skills.

Extra: Giana suffers from nightmares, something she tries to hide. When they get really bad she goes down to the engines rooms to sleep, the light humming helps calm her mind.

    Name: Jahgo Barrsett
    Age: 25
    Race: Almiden

Background: Jahgo's youth was full of rebellious acts. From defacing Imperial property fighting with Peace Keepers, he saw his share of disciplinary actions. In the spirit of his people, his rebellious actions were recorded on his body, though he is not ashamed of most of them. When his violent streak finally became too much for his family to bear, he left his home to seek his fortune.Jahgo bounced from job to job, never staying in one place for very long. Eventually he found himself in the apprenticeship of a pilot, and suddenly his life changed. More than anything, he wanted to be in space, to see the galaxy the way merchant traders saw it. Aboard that small freighter, Jahgo had never been so focused. He watched the pilot's every move, listened to her every word and, eventually, found himself in the pilot seat a time or two.

When it came time to move on, Jahgo had obtained several useful space-faring skills, including piloting, basic maintenance and repair, and how to use a weapon. After finding a job aboard the Pyxis, he quickly rose through the ranks, and is now second in command to Captain Giana Quin.

Personality: Jahgo is brave and determined, even to a fault. He trusts his Captain and her crew, but that's about it. Believing in being well prepared, Jahgo expects everyone to do their job well. That's not to say that he is all discipline and structure; actually he is rather relaxed compared to many people. But he does understand that there is a time for work and a time for play, and that there are times when one must put aside their desire for work to relax and recharge, and a time for focus and concentration.

Appearance: Jahgo is tall compared to other Almidens, standing approximately 5'4". He is slender, but toned, with light blue skin and brilliant amber eyes. Black tattoos cover his body almost completely. Even his lips bear the colored scar of his native language. He usually dresses in light creams and tans, and is generally seen in a loose-fitting cream-colored short sleeve shirt and dark brown breaches. His firearm, a quality handgun, rests in a holster on his right hip.

Extra: Jahgo is big on personal hygiene, though he isn't afraid to get dirty when the situation calls for it. He has acquired a love of old human music, which he will sometimes sing, either in his own language, or his attempt to sound like a native human.
