I wanted Garret and Susan to kill off Lydia, I have a plan, so evil, so shocking, so lemon scented, that it will blow you all away! Just kidding. Garret "enlists" Susan and while she distracts Lydia, Garret hits her with a wall of 752 shadow needles the length of his arm, she dies, he nabs the tome, pats Susan on the head, then runs to the safety of his friend, Rose.
