Long ago, there was a time when the mythical creatures of fantasies dwelled on earth, in harmony with nature and humans. But then the humans became greedy and started hunting the creatures for tokens, or scared of being overpowered by their rule. These creatures however, had no want of power, and refused to fight back to try and display peace. Matters only got worse and the humans neglected peace treaties, warnings, and boundaries. So the wisest of the mages gathered to create a new dimension, a veil, for the creatures of myth to dwell in peace among, with hopes one day to return when the human race learned unity and selflessness. Volunteer humans who had fought on behalf of the peace were each given the spirit of one of the races, to connect with the human happenings on earth. Later on some humans bonded with this spirit enough to even communicate with them. As the years turned to decades, and decades to centuries, nothing improved, and with the "witch hunts" of the 16th and 17th centuries, the mages created a curse to mask all magic from being used. Only a large enough group could over come and neutralize the curse, returning magic to earth, and hopefully the fantasy creatures as well.
The year is now 2014 and more and more humans are growing in knowledge of their otherkin souls, growing in number with the numbers of the races behind the veil, many with the ability to communicate with their nonhuman soul. Many separate online communities are home to young therians and otherkin, working on mental shifting and hopefully a physical shift. Others among them practice magic, in one way or another. A large part of the communities want to grow a permanent change to their bodies, most commonly wings.
Welcome to The Magic Club, a personally created website dedicated to the hosting of knowledge, research, teaching, and support of the supernatural. But something happened, something none of us expected, even the most true believers. The curse is starting to falter, and some of us have manifested what we had been seeking. As planned among us months ago we will travel far and near to meet in the center of Yellowstone Park, most of us for the first time in person, and figure out how we will live our new lives. In fear being hunted? In embrace to the new opportunities? Or just continue life as normally as possible?

-Therian Shift: morph into any existing or once existent animal and taking on a parallel mindset of that creature
-Otherkin Shift: morph into any mythical creature and taking on a parallel mindset of that creature
-Physical Alteration: a change or addition to your body without mental influences

-Mental Shift- meditation to find and take on the mindset of an therian/otherkin spirit believed to coexist in ones consciousness
-Physical Shift- Physically morphing into a beast

-You can either have a single species Shift or an Alteration, not both
-Try to stick with one major physical alteration, no neko with wings, but you could have a more minor change like change of eye color, horns, claw finger nails etc.
-Repeats are allowed, but i would prefer some variety.
-Your character can be from anywhere, preferably the North America region, though.
-The RP will start in Yellowstone National Park, just east of Yellowstone Lake, as the characters are arriving at the meeting place.
-I (Daedalus) will not have a character to start, but will set the scene and play NPC's.
-Do not control NPC's. you can describe and create them, but i and Vfive will control their actions.

-This is a NON-preset plot game, do not expect to just ride along a plot, come ready to build the unspecified world and live life! or die trying...

-This game is based on REALITY as much as possible, not everything is rainbows and unicorns.
-Do i really need to add this? No God modding or controlling others
-Act with the up most respect for other players.
-Do NOT post again until each player posts. that way no one gets behind and time stays in sync.
-Posts can be made in 3rd person or 1st person, i couldnt care less.
-Posts must be LEGIBLE, spelling errors are fine, so long as its not hindering the ease to read.
-Posts can be as long or short as you want, but must have detail enough to build the world. so really no one liners.
-Put your characters Magic Club website user avatar in the appearance section.
-DO NOT leave without a proper warning of some kind. i wont get mad if something happens, im understanding and here to help work out your character.

Backstory: Luca had what most would see as an easy life. A crazy one but an easy life none the less. He was born into one of the wealthiest Greek families that existed. They were known as the pago̱niá family as to that was they're last name and it was easy being apart of the family since they had few rules. In fact they only had two if you were of they're blood you were of pure Greek blood and apart of they're family first. The other was family affairs stayed within family allowing no one on the outside know of any problems that occurred.
They treated him well, surrounded by family who didn't hate you and would be willing to lend a hand and get you what you want from town if you asked regardless of the expense. But they were also barbaric in Luca's eyes as they stuck highly to old traditions learning how to fight and make weapons of all types fighting each other sometimes till one was bed ridden. Luca hating the thought of harming others for fun decided to escape his world by reading any books he could get a hold of. He was most fascinated in the fantasy many had expressed and spent countless days wishing for it to be real and when online finding sites one in particular where he met other's who loved it all. Talking with them was his highlight of the day much of the time. Though one day when he was effected by the seal weakening he was in the families private woods for a walk getting away from another of the family games. While wondering the forest he began to have a splitting headache that knocked him out as pain went through his body as a picture of a winged wold ran through his head.
When he woke he found himself to be in the form of a winged wolf unsure he ran around frantic as he felt his mind being pushed by another. As it pushed he started to feel the need to fly up high above the clouds and look down upon the world in watch. Afraid that these feelings would take him over he started to wish with all his might to change back after awhile of trying he eventually managed it passing out as he did. Later when he awoken he went back home to his room skipping dinner as it was late in the day his mind raced with thoughts one what happened. Unsure of anything he consulted all his books while he got onto the site he always used while reading. He realized that they had planned to meet soon with that he thought in huge consideration contemplating on what to do. Eventually he came to the decision to go believing they may be able to help him further understand what he could not on his own so he packed few of his books clothes and laptop and left.
He shared many goodbyes and had a good-bye feast that seemed to last three full days before he finally left going to town. Leaving first flight to america anxious about finally meeting everyone as he read his books in first class deep in thought as to what is in store.
Personality: easy going till fighting occurs otherwise he is reading cooking or learning a new language due to excelling at doing so. when a winged wolf if one for longer than he can hand he slowly starts to become prideful and sees himself as regal

seems like that might happen maybe we should pm the people who had asked to join to make sure that they were informed that the ooc is up if you haven't done that and if they still don't come and join than go ahead and do that
