Name: Randia Zoroak
Age: 17
Parents: Father: Poseidon
Mother: Unknown
History He’s always known there was something different about him since he was a kid-the fact that his mother abandoned him at a church being the start of that line of thinking. He doesn’t remember her, nor does he really care too. The older he got, eventually it became apparent to the church that he was troubled. They were old Catholic, so they did their best to…chase the demons out of him. It didn’t work, of course, and he still to this day curses those years he spent there.
When he was ten, someone invited him to Camp Half Blood. Sure, he didn’t know at the time who he was, but he went anyway. By his second year, his father had claimed him; not that it made much a difference to Randia. He’d never had parents, and just because a god claimed him didn’t mean he actually admitted to having one. Besides, Poseidon hadn’t bothered being in his life up until now-Randia had no love for the god.
Thanks to what he went through, however, he’s now one of the oldest campers at Camp Half Blood, and he stays there full time. Being forced to stay at a church after coming here one summer only made things worse so now they just let him stay full time, as long as he does his share. This also means picking a camper or two at the beginning of each summer that he is personally in charge of. Alucard was one of them-and ever since meeting the kid, he’s felt a little protective. After all, Poseidon is Hade’s brother, and Zeus as well. Hade’s, being one of the few gods that everyone hates or mistrust, his kids are treated the same. Randia took to the kid, and now keeps an eye on him like an older brother would.
Now, to a less than historical note, his powers. He can manipulate water and use it for battle or healing-he’s still working on the healing since he’s more prone to fighting. But, in a situation where it’s life or death, he becomes almost hyper-aware and that helps him with his healing. You can almost always find at the Pegasus stable, but not talking with the Pegasi. He tends to drift more to the Nightmares that they keep-flying horses from Hades really. He likes their sleek black look and their hot-tempered natures; they seem to enjoy his company as well, as they rarely try to harm him. One in particular refuses to let anyone but him ride-Nightshade. The stallion was very temperamental and cruel, but it always shows something kin to affection to Randia.
Personality: He’s a typical protective older brother type, but with a withdrawn and out of the loop kind of feel. Even though he always knows what’s going on around the camp, he never lets on that he does; he doesn’t like to get involved if he can help it. But if a younger camper is in danger or being bullied, he tends to get in the way and make them back off. He’s not really a peace keeper, but a fighter. Standing at six-foot-three-inches, he seems to take more after his god of a father than whoever his mother was. His hair is black and, unlike Poseidon, he isn’t the laid back and take it easy type.
He won’t take anything lying down, and always tend to pick a fight if it comes to that or running. So he’s not really cut out to be a decisive leader, but he’s a great asset on a battlefield. Being as tall as he is, he normally towers over everyone else, so when he steps between two campers, they normally have no choice but to listen. On the upside, once he picks you as a friend, or as perhaps as an adoptive sibling, he will never let anything happen to you, even at the cost of himself. It’s a bad, but also good, habit that he’s developed since he first came to the camp.
Crushes or relationships: He’s never bothered to chase a girl, but he does pick out campers that he considers family at times.
