    Default The Fall OOC (M)

In a world, where an event known as the "Fall" has occurred, wiping out most of humanity, and destroying the Earth. A small colony of space miners were stationed on Mars when the fall occurred. Some lost their minds and the others were forced to kill them. Supplies are very limited, and the remaining group must scavenge to survive. However, there is an unknown evil lurking in the shadows of space, and they are traveling towards Mars...

You may have one character, however if you die, there is a chance a new survivor may be found, but you'll have to make a new CS

    CS:

    Name:

Position in the colony: (security, miner, chef, blacksmith, or lookout) Only one of each class pleas

Special Skills/Starting Inventory: Security: Pistol, bag, better armor, has a higher carrying capacity. miner: Pickax, sack, can gather metals, more resistant to disease. Chef: knife, pot, can cook, knows what is edible and what is not. Blacksmith: Hammer, anvil, barrel of water, can craft items using the metals the miner gathers. Lookout: pocket knife, binoculars, faster than all other classes, pair of walkie talkies.

Battle Strategy: (fight head on, sneak attack, run, etc.)

Stats: Intelligence, Strength, Speed, Cooking, Crafting, Mining
Base stats are all 10, however each class gets a bonus to one stat that boosts it to 25 (security-strength, miner-mining, chef-cooking, blacksmith-crafting, and lookout-speed. If intelligence reaches 25, you may change class to researcher, which is able to cure diseases using ingredients the miner and chef can gather. Remember resources are limited, and anyone can die, and death will effect the group morally and will test their mental state.

If anyone that joins wants to add any ideas, I'd be really appreciative, because this is the first RP I'll be running. I'd really like some special skill ideas that are logical for the classes, and I'd like to note there will be a leveling system, and
it would be of great help to update stats here after/between posts/levels.

I'll be getting a sheet up shortly. As for Special Perks for each class

    Security
Marksmen:Increase accuracy with all firearms, allowing shots to land most of the time
Warrior: better handeling of balded and unarmed weapons, such as knives, machetes, knuckle dusters, etc.

    Miner
Efficiency: When mining for metals, is able to find more, while doing less work
Collector: Able to hold more metals at a time

    Chef
Hot Soup: is able to make hot soup for all characters not matter the food items avaible, as long as a fire is made
Preservative: Able to store food well passed when it should expire and still make it edible.

    Blacksmith
Weaponsmith: Is able to make weapons for the whole party for very low material cost
Armorsmith: is able to make armor and repair clothes for the whole party for very low material cost

    Lookout
Shadow Scout: Is able to be extermely stealth, using shadows, and getting more damage from behind, and a slight intelligence boost.
Mobile Scout: While not as stealthy, is extremely fast, getting even more points into speed.

Just what I came up with on the fly.

I will definitely use those skills, with a couple of minor tweaks. Don't want to make it too easy

No big deal, I just need new ideas for skills and stuff. I'll patch them if they seem too good or not good enough. Or if they are vague then I'll make them more specific. Also, Note that to level each attribute, you'll have to do tasks related to that attribute (i.e. running for speed), and every so many levels in that attribute you will unlock a skill. I'll also explain the bonuses unlocked at each attribute level as we get there

Howdy Carmine! Looks like a great RP! Why not make it greater?! Here are some links that can help with that.

Take a look at the Roleplay of the Week thread!

If you need a banner for a submission, then check out the Banner Shop!

You can also look at the Roleplaying Games Directory to advertise your RP.

You can even ask the staff to advertise it!

And to round it all up, let your RP be advertised in the RPA Tribune!
