The Animals of Newbridge Forrest

The year is 1982.

Newbridge Forrest lies at the heart of rural England. Surrounded by sprawling green fields as far as the eye can see, and not a man to be seen for miles. The forrest itself is practically ancient, it has stood the test of time for years on end.

Being so far from any form of civilisation, the Forrest has been free of man-kind for years.

...That is until now.

The Plot

Newbridge Forrest is to be the site for a brand spanking new estate of luxury suburbia. The Forrest will be cleared and all wildlife terminated. The thing is, the animals themselves don't know this, yet.

The story itself is much similar to that of the Animals of Farthing Wood kinda mixed with Watership Down (If you haven't seen them, go and watch them, NOW) Various animals from the Forrest will escape and journey across England to find a new place to call home.

Name: Fiver

Gender: Male

Animal: Black Fox

Appearence:

Fiver is a lean slim thing. His form is lithe, black fur sleek and soft. His movements seem to have a natural flow about them, he often looks like a shadow sneaking through the trees. At night, he becomes practically invisible. The only feature about him not coloured as black as the night sky are his eyes. They are a piercing sharp green.

Personality: Fiver is fiercely loyal to his friends, and protects them with almost a fierce vengance. This is his way of returning their own kindness, for if Fiver did not have friends, he would have no-one in the world. Due to his upbringing, Fiver is naturally quiet and recluse. He often become shy and wary of strangers, in some ways this hels as he can be more cautious of possible predators. However it is also his weakness, as he can deny help when it is most needed.

History: Fiver was the fifth cub in his litter, hence his name. Since he was a runt, his family deemed him unworthy of holding a true name. From birth, Fiver was bullied horribly by his older bigger siblings. Not only being insanely small but having the deformity of the black coat, it made him an easy target. However as the cubs began to grow, Fiver grew further and further apart from his family. He began to spend more time with the other creatures of the Forrest, learning their own ways while still having the skill and cunning of a predator. All in all growing up to be a lethal hunter.

Due to his deadly talents, many of the weaker animals revere Fiver as their leader. Although he rarely makes decisions, he simply prefers to keep the peace.

Much easier that way.

Other: He's scared of Dogs. Terribly.

Appearence:

Personality: Daisy is a very bright and chatty mouse, happy to talk your ear off all day. She is friendly and trusting with a deep love for blueberry's. Coming form an overly large family she has never been truly alone, a friend or family member always close.

History: Daisy was born in a litter of 10, she lives with the whole family. Mum, dad, aunts and uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters the whole big brood, in a scattering of old oak trees surrounded by blueberry and mulberry bushes. She has lived a simple happy life.

Other: (sorry this a lot shorter then I would normally do but then again I don't normally do 'happy and my life is perfect' characters lol)
