[A letter delivered to all residents at 6:30AM, taped to all of the doors.]
GOOD MORNING, NULLVIEW -
As most of you have just arrived, we've been trying to make sure everyone is set up comfortably for the duration of their stay! You'll notice we have a lot of staff around- as you can guess, this isn't your usual apartment complex. We're here to support you as much as possible and hopefully cater to your individual needs as you see fit.
Consider it a vacation!
You may call for help at any time- and both our mental and physical help lines are available 24/7, in case you'd like to voice any concerns or gain access to help. You may also dial 0 in case of emergencies.
Since it's the first day a lot of you are spending with us, we've put together some care packages for you to enjoy and delivered them along with this letter! We hope these are to your liking and if you need anything at all, feel free to call in.
SINCERELY,
MGT.
[CARE PACKAGE DELIVERED TO SNAKE/OCELOT - ROOM A01-2]
A cardboard box sits outside the door, full of various grooming products. A shaving kit (two, even), some kind of face wash, as well as a few extra soaps, and some general niceties. There are some- unusual bits and pieces here and there, however. Particularly the pair of coffee cups marked 'His' and 'Hers', presumed to be extras from somewhere or other. And no, Snake. You can't just stay in the box.
[CARE PACKAGE DELIVERED TO LOKI]
The little basket of goodies comes with a green bow tied to it. Inside are a decent pair of slippers, a bath robe, and a few extra food vouchers, good for what would amount roughly to five USD each. All of these items sit on a warm, fluffy blanket stuffed at the bottom of the basket. Not a bad haul!
[CARE PACKAGE DELIVERED TO RUKIA]
Wrapped up in a little black bag, there are hard strawberry candies, a book of crossword puzzles, a small plush doll that vaguely looks like an octopus, a pen with a small black notebook, and a rather comfortable pair of purple striped socks- and is that some kind of rash cream? Oh well. Could be worse!
[CARE PACKAGE DELIVERED TO NOBLE SIX]
A small toolbox is left at her doorstep with several old-fashioned tools inside, including little wrenches, a hammer, and a pair of pliers. Next to the toolbox is a few extra towels in a basket, and one of those sliding-tile puzzle games that when complete, should make a vague picture of a flower.
It's clear whoever set this up had no idea what they were doing. Good luck figuring out the logic behind this one. Or anything. Good luck figuring out the logic behind anything.
[CARE PACKAGE DELIVERED TO MATA NUI]
The staff did not want to deliver this directly, or- at all, really. One lost game of Rock-Paper-Scissors later, one of the interns was running into the basement, carrying a box with what appears to be mechanical bits and pieces, and a small potted plant. He ran right back out as fast as his legs could carry him.
[CARE PACKAGE DELIVERED TO KHARN]
This package looks more like an offering more than anything else. It is a hurriedly flung together pile of food vouchers, what seems to be actual currency, some various snack food packages, some kind of romance novel, and the screams of another intern that should have gone with paper instead of scissors.
