Pacific Rim Maybe?
Ever since I joined this forum, I've been wanting to do a Pacific Rim RP. Anyways...
Plot: The year is 2027, the Breach has been sealed, and due to the collaborations to produce jaegers, world peace is now a reality, save for a few small conflicts in third-world countries.
On September 23rd, 2027, a deep-sea sub discovered an area of high radioactive activity 300 miles west of Norway. Three minutes after the report to base, the sub went silent and hasn't been seen or heard from since.
Around the world, the 5 remaining jaegers are now museum pieces. (Omega Midnight, Iron Reaper, Stalker White, Fury Rose, Crimson Typhoon and Blood Tiger.)
November 3rd, 2027.
A sonar lab on the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean picks up a large, fast moving object, approximately 230 feet in length with a slightly humanoid structure.
November 6th, 2027.
Five attack subs are deployed to intercept this object. The object is identified as a category IV bladeskull. Attack subs are successful in neutralizing the threat.
November 15th, 2027.
Marshall and Ashley Rogers, along with Omega Midnight are moved from "Retired" status to "Active."
November 20th, 2027
Trials begin to find a crew for the other four jaegers.

Rules pertaining to RP
1. No godmodding.
2. Be reasonable. Just because you're in a jaeger doesn't mean you're untouchable.
3. Be nice, and most importantly, have fun.
Rules pertaining to jaegers
1. You can have your own jaeger, but allow a reasonable amount of time for construction.
2. If you choose to use a Granite series, take into account the weight. Pilots of Granite series jaegers have been known to dislocate joints during intense combat.
3. If you choose to use Crimson Typhoon, you'll need a 3 person crew.
Shatterdomes
Most shatterdomes are hastily converted drydocks.
