Flick stilled her tail still twitching a little as the other fox addressed her.
"Umm hi," She yipped nervously lowering her head submissively. "Im Flick its.. nice to meet you.." She offered trying to be friendly.

Fiver looked the vixen over. She was young, still youthful enough to retain some constant joy about her.
"Hmmm"
He looked back over his shoulder to Carrion, seeking his advice. Returning his gaze to the fox before him, he gave her a quizzical look.
"I haven't seen a fox from another family around here in some time"

The sun began to rise brightly within the sky, and it's light would shine down upon the forest below. From a large group of entangled vines and leaves that formed a makeshift shelter, Ivor had awoken with a rather lazy yawn. Getting up and onto his hooves to go find food to fuel that large body of his. It was his daily routine for the most part, this forest was the epitome of peace for all animals that lived here, and he was no exception. However today felt a little off, he couldn't exactly say what was making him feel such a way..but it was.
With heavy steps and a sniffing snout, he'd walk about in search of food or any loose fruit...maybe some nuts if he could. If all else failed, grass was an option too, but most of the time, it was his last.
Fiver looked disappointed that he had said no more. He only simply watched the matter of the young fox and Fiver. He didn't say anything. Though when Fiver glanced at him, Carrion glanced at him back.
Considering their seniority in this forest, it was no surprise they had become the guardians of sky and ground.
"We can discuss more away from the youthful ones," Carrion responded back to Fiver.
He simply didn't want to put anyone in a state of panic.
Fiver nodded at the Raven. Turning his attentions back to the vixen, Fiver raised an eyebrow
"Hmmm"
He stood and turned a little
"Well, you pose no threat, so welcome to Newbridge"
And with that said he left the clearing, hoping Carion would follow.

(I just now noticed this was up, how did I miss that? )
Link woke with the dawn, as he always did. He stretched one wing out, then the other, before settling back down onto his perch as if he was going to go back to sleep. A few moments later, though, he spread his wings and flew off the perch, going to a nearby meadow to hunt. It didn't take long for him to be successful, and he went to the nearest tree to enjoy his spoils. The meal was brief but appreciated. When the sun rose high enough to get into his eyes, he swept back into the forest. Halfway back to his nest, he spotted Carrion/Watcher and adjusted his flight pattern to land on a branch a tree or so to the raven's left.
Flick raised a little tilting her head as the other fox turned his back on her calling a welcome as he did. She honestly expected a bit more show of dominance from him.
"Hey you didn't give me your name." She called out padding forward a little.

Fiver continued onwards, turning his head only briefly behind him.
"No ... I didn't"
He didn't like having to tell newcomers his name. It marked him, almost like a curse. Reminding himself and others what the cruelty of nature had deemed him. Yet at the same time the name could be worn like a badge, with pride and conquest. For even through the tough beginnings nature had thrust upon him, he had conquered and even succeeded more than any would have thought.
"It's fiver"

Flick padded a little faster up to him her early nervousness gone.
"Fiver? that's a pretty cool name." she said happily.

Fiver was halted in his tracks by the vixen. He frowned softly. For fiver didn't want to be overly dominant, he believed this land hound be shared. However if this particularly giddy little thing was to be an annoyance, perhaps he would have to. Fiver flattened his ears to show his irritation.
"More than you know"
Walking around her, he trotted silently onwards through the bracken
