Faye smiled while Blake began to lift into the air and she gently placed him down on the bed. He was so cute when he was drugged up! Who was she kidding? He was cute all the time! Faye giggled before climbing up next to him and not wasting any time in getting comfy. "We should take a nap." Faye proposed from her spot at his side.

[Kicks]

He was flying! Blake was flying! He released his hands away from Faye and spread his arms out to either side of him, making a plane noise now. That was until his fun stopped at he hit the landing.
"We have landed." He said in a deeper, robotic voice.
And then he dropped the act because now his pretty wife was joining him on the bed. He would have bounced excitedly if he had that kind of control with his legs. But considering he didn't, he had to resort in clapping his hands happily when she joined him.
He stopped the second she got comfortable and then wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug.
"I love you!" He squealed, completely ignoring her remark about taking a nap. He was tired! But he didn't want to sleep! But wait no, now he wanted to sleep. Or did he? Blake sat there with a confused expression. How should he decide?

Faye squeaked when he hugged her so tightly. "I love you too Blake." She told him and rested her head on his chest. Her arm slid back back around his and she closed her eyes. "I love you and I love sleep and I think I should love both at this moment." She suggested before yawning tiredly. Yes she was quite tired, and Blake certainly needed to sleep for everything to get through his system.

[Kicks]

She loved him and she loved sleep! Blake should let her sleep then! That was it then. He had made his choice! He would sleep too! He would take her advice and take a nap!
"Mmkay." He hummed back at her, sidling down in the bed and getting more comfortable. Once he was all suited and comfortable he closed his eyes.
Ah yes, yes this was nice. He should do this more often.
He felt comfortable and cozy and he was ready to sleep.
It wasn't even a few seconds after giving into the idea of taking a nap that he managed to drift off. It was the drugs' power that forced him under. For had it not been for the drugs he would be uncomfortable.

[DizzyMaelstrom!]

When Danny was picked up so suddenly, he started squirming. Why did he start squirming? He didn't really know, now was just the perfect time to squirm. The manner in which Adalia picked him up was one of urgency and rushed worriedness of a lady over her grandson... and he just had to squirm. What was with the rushed manner? There was no need to be so upset. He didn't even know what the once over was for. He wasn't trying to be an entire brat, though and after a moment, he started laughing, stopped squirming and hugged Adalia because he just loved her and had given her a hard time for practically nothing... then he pried himself loose of her arms.
"Danny!" Zakai said in a firm voice when they reached the kitchen, which meant that Danny was in trouble, "You better not be giving your grandma any trouble," Danny was nervous. He had been squirming just then for no reason, but then Zakai stopped looking angry and smiled at him all big "Because we have kittens!" and Danny stopped being so nervous because he wasn't in trouble and because there were kittens!
"Yaaaay! Kittens! Where are the kittens! I wanna see the kittens! Let me see the kittens!" He was jumping around Zakai's feet, so excited that he didn't even notice the large box that held the kittens.
Zakai knelt down in front of him, smiling, and putting a hand on the boy's shoulder, "Okay, but you have to be quieter, and really gentle. These are little, iddy, biddy kittens. They're really tiny babies."
Danny stared at his father for a moment, then nodded in understanding, stopping his excited jumpiness.
"Ooooh. Okay," he folded his hands behind his back and waited patiently for the kittens.

Faye was relieved when at last she felt Blake relax, oh thank god! He was asleep much quicker than her due to the drugs but it actually wasn't long after that Faye was also drifting off feeling as though she hadn't really slept in ages. Her mind went black and all she was really even slightly aware of was her warm husband pressed up against her as she cuddled close.

[Kicks]

Adalia was surprised by the sudden hug from the little boy but it had also filled her heart so she let it go that he had just squirmed around for no evident reason. And how could she stay worried and upset when someone had just announced kittens?
She turned her eyes to her daughter, then Alec. She knew it had to have been that brought around the idea of kittens. For some reason, teenagers were just the age group to cause this kind of problem. Well... it wasn't really a problem. Sort of. But it was an issue. Like what to do about kittens?
"Where did you find kittens?" Adalia asked with a sad sigh. "All the way out here? Oh those poor things."
"Jamie had them." Spring told her mom while lifting the blanket off the box that Alec was holding. "See? And they all need homes too. We can't just let them die. That would be cruel. And look, they're so small and cute. And innocent..."
"Spring." Adalia said when her daughter trailed off, "You want one, don't you?"
Her daughter broke into a grin and nodded her head, "Yes, please!"
Adalia honestly didn't know what to tell her. On one hand a kitten was a huge responsibility. But on the other hand they were great for catching rodents and stop the spread of disease.

[Kicks]

How does one fall asleep so quickly? Exhaustion, drugs, or melatonin production. Drugs were the reason for him to go down speedily.
Normally for him it played out like darkness for a very long time in its peaceful embrace and then maneuvered onto a dream or a nightmare.
This time around it went from closing his eyes straight into images and people playing out behind his eyelids. It was in a place between consciousness and sleep. Where one could still be rattled by touch or noise, or awoken by a sudden twitch caused from a dream.

Faye also evaded nightmares fortunately. Actually, there were no dreams at all, just darkness, and Faye was more than okay with that. She relished in the darkness and the tranquility it brought rather than the terror of nightmares. It was just a safer bet to wish and hope for pitch black than to attempt to have good dreams which quickly turned sour.

[DizzyMaelstrom!]

Danny went over to the box and watched the kittens, reaching his hand in to pet Jamie first, then pet each of the kittens as gently as he possibly could because they were babies. He was the type of person who didn't lean one way or the other for dogs or cats. He just like animals! Especially baby animals!
Zakai sat beside him, keeping a close watch, just in case. He was only four.
"They're so cute," Danny withdrew his hands and brought them up to his chin in a sort of giddy fashion and Zakai nodded before looking back at Spring and Adalia.
"I know I'm your son and have no influence on your parental decisions, but I think she should be able to keep one," he shrugged, "I mean, we're not just gonna leave them here, are they? Practically everyone has one already. I'm even taking one."
Danny looked at Zakai, suddenly all excited, "We get to keep a kitten?"
Zakai nodded, "Yeah. When they're big enough."
Danny was getting a bit bouncy, but was doing his very best to contain himself well enough, "Which one, Daddy? Which one?"
Zakai smiled and pointed, "The tortoiseshell. It's blackish with a mix of ginger in with its fur, see?" he glanced back at Spring and Adalia, wondering what his mother would say or if he'd helped at all.
