Okay guys, so! My thoughts on house animals:

Bravery: Wolf
Kindness: Otter
Intelligence: Owl
Resourcefulness: Fox
Imagination: Magpie

I'm still on the fence about having a house for Strength, but I like the bear.

For house names I've thrown out tons of options but here are my favorites:

Bravery: Ferox (Spirited, lively, wild)
Kindness: Cordis (Heart)
Intelligence: Animi (Wits)
Resourcefulness: Serpo (Sneak, crawl)
Imagination: Fantasia (Fantasy, imagination)

Of course these are all from Latin and might need some adjusting for the sake of confusion...

If we wanted to make it easy for the HoHs, we could make our main teachers be the heads of their houses? So my History teacher could be the head of Intelligence? My Herbology teacher isn't quite confident enough to be a HoH...

Also, here's a strange thought: what about instead of strength, we have a house for Prowess? That could describe physical or mental ability, broadening the composition of the house.

For resourcefulness I've also got Callidus and Inseptum. But I can go seek more names from Google Translate.

Here is what Nara and I are in favor of for house names-

Resourcefullness- Inseptum
Bravery- Ferox
Kindness-

Benignitas, but we could also use Cordis which means heart, Amice which means friend, or Fidelis which means loyalty.

Intelligence-

Animi means wits, Acutulus means smart, and we could also use Callidus (Cunning, clever) which I also wrote as a possibility for the Resourcefulness house.

Imagination- Somnium is what we both like

Prowess? - Virtus (means valor, virtue, strength, manliness, manhood, prowess); Manus (means hand, work, efficiency, vim, arm, prowess)
