Spoiler: OOC Information
Cross Academy is a prestigious dwelling for the rich, intelligent, and special skilled. Also, this medieval castle has become popular for housing a proper combat training program. This is all that’s known to the public but through the other side of the Academy’s courtyard lay two groups of students. The Day Class who are human and the Night Class who are vampires. Veronica and Basira are the guardians/presidents of the school. They protect all who attend from outside threats. They also make sure both classes steer clear of trouble or troubling one another. Although they each have some power within the building both answer to the headmaster and headmistress who have yet to be seen.
Spoiler: The Premise
Yuki, Zero, & Kaname have long since passed.
In their wake they left behind a tragic love story & a chain of events that no one will soon forget.
A century has passed and Cross Academy has finally been reopened after an abrupt closure. With Kaname's gracious sacrifice to uphold Anti-Vampire Weapons there was no longer a need for such a school. Level E vampire numbers began to wither down to a less dangerous degree and fear no longer plagued the masses. However, happy endings are seldom mandatory. This short lived peace would all too soon vanish with greater threats, and this unlikely duo of living and undead will need to come together to protect humanity.
The influential human DeWitt family are responsible for this reunion along with a supportive yet odd ally--the ancient vampire Isa family. In an effort to combine forces, once again, the establishment will be animate with human and vampire alike. Adjacent to their enemies both will learn to work together in defeating Level E vampires and other monstrosities that follow. Of course, this is news to both human and vampire students except for the Day and Night Class presidents Basira and DeWitt. Can the unlikely undergraduates achieve a different fate or will they buckle under pressure and turn on each other?
Time will tell.

Spoiler: Anti-Vampire Weapons
Anti-Vampire weapons come in all shapes & sizes ranging from guns to scythes. Humans can wield these special weapons that are usually carried by Vampire Hunters, which can be the difference between life and death in a Level E vampire fight. It is rare for vampires to brandish them since the metal causes damage to their skin but it has been documented that a few have.
"Kaname & the Hooded Woman sacrificed themselves in order to create hunter weapons, which are all made from a special metal. The metal was created by The Hooded Woman, a progenitor of the vampire race. Her goal was to help the humans fight back against the vampires. Her blood was given to a group of humans who wanted to fight. Those who survived drinking her blood became the Hunters. She then threw her heart into a vat of molten metal. This metal is what powers all Hunter weapons." -Vampire Knight Wiki
Spoiler: Humans:
It is not known when the first human discovered their rare ability to use magic but this occurred around the same time vampires were discovered. Some believe that humans evolved to eliminate these red eyed stalkers soon after while the truth lie within the vampire blood itself. This fact not widely documented among history as the ritual to become a vampire hunter is almost always deadly but is passed down the family line of those successful. This mattered little in hindsight because the populace was able to finally fend for themselves during an era of near annihilation. There was a trial and error period no less, learning how to use these gifts. The conclusion was slightly grim however. None of these powers actually slayed vampires, only harmed them. Truly killing vampires would remain the same for countless generations. A simple yet near impossible tactic of staking their heart or beheading. Vampire hunters began to form groups of two. A Guardian to protect and an Enforcer to destroy in close proximity. Soloing is almost never heard of.
Spoiler: Two Types of Humans:
As previously stated, there are two kinds of magic wielding humans. Both types have traces of vampire blood within their own granting them their gifts but a rare few have no such lineage of vampire hunter family members. No one can explain why the latter happens.
Spoiler: Guardians
Are defensive and especially magically adept than their Enforcer counterpart.
Pros:
-Can use their ability more
-Magic damage is increased
-Better defense against magic users
-Long range
Cons:
-Less mobility/must concentrate
-Low defense/Weak against physical attacks
-Channeling spells can take time
-Must conserve energy
Spoiler: Enforcers
Are offensive and are much stronger than their Guardian counterpart.
Pros:
-Extra Crafty
-Physical damaged increased
-Some are quick & stealthy
-Higher physical defense
Cons:
-Draws attention
-Close combat oriented
-Susceptible to magic damage
-Magic efficiency is lowered
Spoiler: Vampires:Spoiler: Basic Information
Some possess strength, agility, accelerated healing, and speed.
All are tolerant of some sunlight able to walk in the daytime, and have enhanced senses.
Only the oldest are said to have flight, invisibility, mind control, and/or telepathy among other immense power.
Vampires have night vision.
Wild roses are a deterrent to vampires--they cannot cross over them or touch them.
Garlic is an irritant like pepper spray if made into a solution.
Beheading or staking the heart will kill any vampire instantly.
Spoiler: Drinking blood/Feeding:
Vampires’ feeding on other vampires is acceptable though only a rare few can be sustained this way.
Vampires can also feed on humans though this is deeply frowned upon and cause for exile if staff catches word. However, what you do in private is your own business—just do not get caught by staff.
Blood pills are the convenient way to tide over a vampire though the older the vampire the less effective, and the more the vampire will need to take. A truck arrives once a month to deliver how many pills a vampire has requested. Keep in mind that these pills are extremely expensive. Your character may have to tightly manage their supply lest they run out early.
Elder vampires are always in a state of hunger making this a noticeable weakness.
Spoiler: Turning into a vampire:
Vampires are otherwise birthed like humans are except pregnancy takes 5 years.
Level A’s or Purebloods are the only ones who can change a human into a vampire.
Level B’s are known as Aristocrats or Nobles. Every Aristocrat has a special ability and only a small amount of human blood is in their ancestry.
Levels C’s are typical vampires stabilized by drinking the blood of their pureblood master.
Level D’s are humans bitten by Level A’s who have yet to lose control.
Level E’s include humans who have been turned into a vampire by a Pureblood rather than being born as a vampire. These ex-humans will eventually go mad with bloodlust and become a "Level E" if they are not stabilized by drinking the blood of the one who originally bit them.
Spoiler: Additional Vampire Information: Pureblood | Level E
Spoiler: Level E Vampires
These are overpowered vampires who have lost all humanity, savage beasts who want for nothing but to destroy both human and vampire.
Understand that Level E’s cannot be killed instantly, and if you choose to fight one alone: your character will die, vampire or human.
Even vampires will have to work together in order to kill a Level E. However, the point of this is to bring everyone together in order to defeat these creatures instead of being able to off them yourself.
Spoiler: Pureblood vampires | Level A
A pureblood vampire does not have a master because they were born a vampire. They are extremely old and powerful but tend not to involve themselves around conflict. They are the exception to becoming a Level E, and can prevent other vampires from experiencing their eventual damned fate.
“The Pureblood nature is an everlasting quest for power. By killing and drinking the blood of another Pureblood, they can absorb their power. However, this is a great taboo and is said to summon a sinister future upon that Pureblood, unless it is their lover. Similar to other vampires, a Pureblood's blood thirst can only be quenched by the blood of their loved one. Since Purebloods live for eternity, losing their loved one is much more devastating for them. It is also common practice for Pureblood siblings to marry each other to preserve their thick blood.
The heritage of these vampires hasn’t been diluted by human blood. They are the strongest type of vampires and have the most significant powers, and can destroy any lower vampire with ease. However, despite the fact Purebloods are very powerful; they only make up only a very small portion of the vampire population. The Senate holds Purebloods in extremely high regard, to the point where it is taboo to kill or even harm a Pureblood vampire. As a result, they are treated like royalty. The powers a Pureblood vampire has are dangerous to both their fellow vampires and humans. Purebloods have the ability to compel lesser vampires to do their bidding.
If a human is bitten by a Pureblood, that human will either die of blood loss or turn into an ex-human vampire, slowly falling into a Level E. The Pureblood and ex-human in question would become bonded as Master and Servant. The master is able to completely control their servant, while the servant becomes incapable of ever killing their master, even if they wish to. When a Pureblood vampire dies, their bodies slowly disperse into small sparkles before shattering into shards of glass." - Vampire Knight Wiki

Human Personal:
Spoiler: Professor of Martial Arts, History, and LanguagesMonk
Professor of Martial Arts, History, and Languages
Name: Choden
Appearance: Choden is of average height and very muscled from years of martial arts training. He is bald and can almost always be found in orange robes.
Gender: Male
Age: 33
Race: Human
Heritage: Tibetan Monk
Relatives: No known biological relatives. Choden considers the other monks of the monastery his family.
Brief bio and personality traits: Choden was found on the steps of a monastery as an infant and was raised by the monks there. They adopted him as a member of their family, and he never questioned their devotion.
Once he reached a level of maturity his master deemed appropriate, he was introduced to the monastery's secret: a coffin, tucked away in the basement. It was said that an ancient woman of incomprehensible strength slept in the coffin, waiting for the day she would awaken. The monks had been tasked with guarding her, keeping her safe until such time came. Choden was next in line to watch over her tomb, and he accepted his duty with grace. No one expected that the woman would awaken just after his term as guardian began.
Imagine his surprise on walking into the tomb one afternoon to find the coffin lid thrown aside, the woman within sitting up and looking around. Choden vowed his loyalty and service to Basira; to him, it was nothing more than a continuation of his duty as her guardian. Shortly thereafter, he met Veronica and followed both her and Basira to aid in the creation of the Academy.
Ability: Choden can focus energy on his walking stick, granting it Anti-Vampire properties. The effect is temporary and drains him to the point of exhaustion. The ability only works if he is wearing his prayer beads.
Weapon: Walking Stick
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Character Weakness: Choden has very little exposure to the world outside of his monastery. He is unfamiliar with many aspects of daily life and is, in many ways, a student himself.
Character Strengths: Dexterity, acrobatics, calm in virtually any situation
Other: Speaks multiple languages, including English, Dzongkha, Lhasa Tibetan, and Mandarin Chinese. He also has knowledge of the history of Basira's coffin and the monks who guarded it before him.
Vampire Personal:
Spoiler: Professor of Vampiric Mysticism & Arts
“I hear the angles cry, I see you die.
There will be no hope for your soul tonight.”
Name: Bastien De Clare
Appearance: Skin is smooth and flawless. Dons an oval face that wishes to grow facial hair but cannot. His eyebrows are arched and the colors of coal like the roots of his hair. The rest of the tresses leading down are turning the color of ash. His intense yet soft eyes are reddish brown. His fingernails are long per typical vampire standards and sharp as razors. His attire is full of rich golds, reds, and browns. The professors are allowed to wear anything of their choosing and he usually chooses regal long fitted suit jackets with pointed collars and black pants. He looks like he can turn menacing in the blink of an eye but behind his bold appearance there may lay a gentle side.
Gender: Male
Age: Roughly 1,000
Race: Vampire
Heritage: French Aristocrat
Notable Relatives: Fleur De Clare [Deceased], Dorian De Clare [Deceased], Eve Leblanc[Alive]
Brief Bio: Bastien is quite the controversy as his reputation is one of the worst for a vampire and especially for a noble. Angering many of his own kind during his younger existence wherever he went trouble would surely follow. Throughout his many lifetimes he insisted on causing insurmountable damage to his family’s name, which could never quite recover no matter how hard they strived. Rumors have it that Bastien held many lives and wives all at the same time. From marriages to multiple vampires of a lessor stature to slaughtering human armies for sport, and even his own kind. No one was quite sure how he accomplished so much devastation in such a short amount of time.
He was a force to be reckoned with as no one could predict his advancements. This he gave thanks to his ability of creating duplicates of himself. As he began to mature he grew weary of such a lifestyle, and wanted to be left to his own devises. His past would not make it so, and he ventured to erase the majority of his unspeakable actions. This mission caused the Aristocrat to find a gypsy vampire in India said to erase a person’s history. Of course, she refused after discovering his name. Her power was not that strong anyway but she referred him to someone who may be of some use.
For years he circled being given the run around until a pureblood by the name of Demo had taken interest in the French vampire. To clear the depravity of his past would take years and during this time he would be slave to the Greek pureblood vampire. In truth, Bastien was not naïve and knew all the while that his faults could have been erased within a second. A pureblood’s power was undeniably effective but they were selfish, and harsh. In hindsight, it was a wonder why Demon even bothered helping but for fifty years he undertook what the elder desired…be it months torture or otherwise.
A pureblood’s nature once finding their true love is to spend eternity with them but Demo was something else. He grew tired of Bastien even though he held a special place within his dead heart, and did something not many would do. He let the noble go after giving him a semi clean slate. “He that hideth his sins, shall not prosper: but he that shall confess, and forsake them, shall obtain mercy.” Demo gave his explanation for not removing every transgression in a quote from Proverbs before waving the French vampire away, and Bastien never forgot their strange parting.
A feeling of grief nearly overwhelmed Bastien at first and life was passed in a thick fog of nothingness. Spending a few years drowning in the loss of a part of himself he caught wind of news about the Isa family’s baffling demise. Refusing to believe the hearsay of her death he could not help but feel drawn to solving the mystery of Basira’s whereabouts and protecting her. It was a crime to hurt a pureblood after all, and after witnessing what the Level E’s were doing to the population he pieced a few things together. He sought out the pureblood and offered his services. He is more so interested in the welfare of Basira rather than the cause she is involved in.
Weapon: Blood Frenzy, a bat winged bastard sword anti-vampire weapon he does not have control over.
Sexuality: Bisexual
Ability Name: Negative Gate
Explain Ability: Is able to conjure a multitude of mirages of himself that are able to act on their own for a limited duration. They are either defensive or offensive. When defeated they dissipate into ashes. They cannot replicate the Blood Frenzy bastard sword or any other weapon. They must find one themselves.
Passive Ability: Constantly absorbs psionic energy of others and can harness it to fuel his ability. The more energy stored the more mirages appear, and the longer they last. However, he is unable to spend a long duration with one person as he can drain their energy entirely causing unconsciousness. Groups are considered safe as energy is lessened from one person and equally distributed in fewer amounts. He must dispel excess energy and will occasionally summon mirages to run errands.

Spoiler: President Basira Isa
“I don't want to feel. I don't want to see. I don't want to love. I don't want to live.
I don't wish to drown in the beauty of your eyes.
I don't wish to remember the warmth of your embrace."
Name: Basira "Ammut" Isa
Appearance: Elegantly standing at an average 5'5 with various plum tinted hair reaching a slender waist. Basira's looks have changed subtly throughout history but not to a startling degree. The most drastic being her skin and hair pigmentation that both gradually lightened from tan and onyx to snow white like a porcelain doll. In fact that is exactly what many have compared the pale woman to before she insisted on dying her tresses into the soft purples they are now, though her skin remains fair. Her ivory features developing after reaching a certain age as sometimes older vampires acquire, each in a different span of life for different reasons. As for Basira's eyes, they remain the color of a tiger's eye gem. Any other feeling except calm will alter the hue in the vampiress' eyes, however, changing to a ruby tone--the signature vampire characteristic.
Gender: Female
Age: Roughly 5,000
Race: Vampire
Occupation/Role: Moon Dormitory President
Heritage: Egyptian
Notable Relatives: Father Hikmat Isa [deceased], Mother In'am Isa [deceased], Sister Nezrah Isa [whereabouts unknown], Brother Rais Isa [whereabouts unknown], Fiance Hakon Vasaätten [deceased]
Brief bio and personality traits: Daughter of a mighty Vampire Pharaoh, Basira was not always so saintly. She was actually quite vicious and held no understanding of empathy or humanity for the weak or ill. Humans and non-purebloods were all beneath her, she rarely discriminated when it came to bestowing wrath among the masses. The very name Isa struck fear into the hearts of many Egyptians and they were known, and respected by other ancient vampire families. Not all purebloods agreed with Isa’s methods of domination but they were exceptional allies and formidable foes.
Basira began to gradually see the effect her family’s greed began creating. With so many vampires disintegrating to level e’s, humans were beginning to fall extinct. Centuries of corrupting the living began to lesson on the list of important accomplishments. Basira began to travel the world expanding her mind with different cultures and ideals before what humans had created become a distant memory. Sometime during this self-discovery her mother and father...died. An explanation of how was never quite offered by Nezrah or Rias who share the same hauntingly beautiful features of long raven hair and eerie jade eyes. Basira mourned for ten years in silence and darkness at the news.
Her brother and sister upheld the nefarious Isa name in no time while her parents were barely absorbed into the earth. Basira held her suspicions, keeping them to herself and quickly left home to be rid of their now distasteful actions. From there life was filled with highs and many lows. From the Viking that aggressively swept her off of her feet to the devastation of watching the very life of him being drained away by her kin Rias and Nezrah. If she did not wish to rule beside them she—and everything she held dear would eventually be taken away. Her family had turned had against her, refusing to see their tumultuous ways and there was very little she could do alone. She sought out myths, legends, and rumors of anything to help put an end to the ruin and came across Kaname and the hooded woman’s tale.
From there she needed to forge a bond with a human counterpart, which was easier said than done. Word spread like wild fire of Basira’s intentions to destroy purebloods like her fellow descendants had wanted. Nezrah and Rias eventually caught up to Basira, drained her to an inch of her life and left her at the steps of a monastery. A monk took pity, curious in the woman not of the living and they formed an odd friendship. She was put into a slumber to regain her strength and hopefully find a human family of influence to help carry on a legacy. She did not expect to sleep for so long however, and lose her prodigious power during that time…Staying in the monastery expectantly put a damper on her abilities for some reason.
Elegant, mysterious, detached, and serene--Basira’s very presence garners respect. She is not one for confrontation and can simply put an end to a feud with an intense flicker of her ruby tinted hues. She has never used her vampiric sway ability to control vampires to do her bidding because she hadn’t really the need. No one is exactly sure the extent of power she wields though she is assumed to have many. Though the Isa family is a renowned name Basira herself has very little followers compared to her ruthless siblings Nezrah and Rias. Little is known about the once ivory haired vampire, which could be either pro or con. One thing is for sure; she has been away from the world for eons and no one knows what to expect with her return.
Specialty: N/A
Weapon: Anti-Vampire Sicklesword kept in a keepsake box, unable to wield without high resistance
Sexuality: Heterosexual
1.) Ability Name: TBD
2.) Explain ability: TBD
Passive ability: TBD
Character Weakness: Basira can be compared to a newborn vampire as she is discovering her abilities for the second time around. Anything she can do is limited and weak. She must keep her emotions in check otherwise her power can accidentally discharge, harming both human and vampire. So she is in a constant state of apathy for balance, which makes her personality cold at times.
Character Strengths: The Isa name and the Sicklesword for now.
Other: Despite having lived for thousands of years Basira has only been awake for a small duration of them. She is basically a child opening her eyes for the first time to a new generation, and will have to discover the rules along the way.
