Opening Scene

Ten of the world's wealthiest individuals gather at a massive, yet polished and detailed, table that was shaped to fit an elliptical figure. Bill Gates, the wealthiest man alive, stabbed his dangerous, yet unfathomable, eyes towards Alice Walton who was preoccupied with speaking to her advisor who seemed keen on discussing personal affairs. Bill Gates turned his head towards Charles Koch who nodded; as if Charles knew what Bill was moving to say. Mr. Gates took a sip Domaine de la Romanee-Conti, and settled the expensive wine upon the table before speaking his mind.

"Welcome," Mr. Gates said as he gathered the attention of those around him, "I am sure you all are extremely tired and in need of some rest after your travels, but today is a special day for all of us. I have gathered fifty individuals who show great promise in today's endeavors." Mr. Gates turned his head towards the big screen ordering a worker to turn on the massive screen. On that screen held a single island; dense with jungle and wild-life. Mr. Gates slipped a sinister smile before returning to those before him, "The individuals are already on the island as we speak... Place your bets now, and the one who stands at the top shall be rewarded money and high praise from this community."

"So what's on this Island Bill," questioned a man; specifically Jim Walton. Mr. Gates chuckled a tad before responding, "I'm afraid you'll have to find out Jim... I wouldn't spoil the surprise..." Mr. Walton shook his head slightly before setting his bet. The world's wealthiest individuals placed their bets and once they were in Mr. Gates extended his arm towards the screen, "Let the most dangerous game begin..."

Basic Premise

You are one of fifty chosen individuals by Mr. Gates himself. Before you were chosen you were happily living your life as a normal person would. However there was to be a harmless contest that you signed up for since you thought it was harmless and rather unexpected; having it be unexpected was the least of your problems. You joined the contest as did hundreds of other Americans, Russians, Arabians, Asians, African Americans and so forth. But you, and you alone, were chosen because those who held the contest deemed you "worthy" or said you had "promise". You soon realize that this contest wasn't to be harmless at all; in fact life-threatening.

You wake up with no recollection of what happened before you were kidnapped or how you arrived on an isolated island; far from the mainland. But your conscious is clear and your thoughts are together or fragmented. You have been chosen for something greater. Armed with only the clothes on your back and the skills you have learned in your daily life. You must trek the jungle and survive cold nights, dangerous animals, and even your own nieghbore. No one is to be trusted. Everyone is a target. Who will you kill?

Spoiler: Supplies | Supply Drop 

Supplies

Supplies will NOT, let me repeat myself, will NOT be supplied to your character on the first day; until dusk when the day is done. Your character will have to fend for themselves or at least try and make it towards one of the landmarks scattered throughout the island. I cannot guarantee that your character will survive, because the animals and traps have been randomized and your character could and very well get themselves killed. So the only supplies your character will be given is the clothes on their back and whatever is in their pockets at the time. The probability of there being anything useful is their pockets in rather low, specifically 4.5%. Bear that in mind. [Note: If you have an idea of anything useful in your character's pocket please PM me the information before posting the Character Skeleton]

Supply Drops

Supply Drops will happen at dawn and at dusk. However these drops are randomize in order to prevent camping at the drop zone. Your character might get lucky and come across a supply drop; at this point its pretty much luck that your character survives at all. That is how challenging this roleplay is, much to that of the story. The supply drops carry the obvious food [canned foods] and water [water bottles], but there are also weaponry ranging from semi-automatic rifles to simple handguns. Also there are melee weapons for those who deem stealth is more effective. Bookbags and other additional supplies are provided within each supply drop.

Spoiler: Rules and Regulations 

1. Must be active in both the OOC and IC. Failure to report to the IC within two weeks of posting [without a vaild reason] will result in immediate termination of your character and will not be allowed to create another character. However you are welcome to discuss topics related to this roleplay.

2. I CANNOT GUARANTEE YOUR CHARACTER WILL SURVIVE! That aside your character, mathematically speaking, only has a probability of survival of 13%, but don't be discouraged. There are fifty other people, including other characters, who have the same percentage as your character.

3. POSTS MUST HAVE LOGICAL SENSE! I cannot stress that enough. Your posts must be logical, and they must be on point. What I mean by that is your character can't suddenly come across another character and start duking it out for no apparent reason [granted there are going to be NPCs that are like that]. You have to think as would your character. What would you do in that situation? Run? Fight? Hide? Catch my drift?

4. No Racial or Sextist Language or Comments Please

5. Keep Arguments to a MINIMUM. Failure to do so will result in a warning, and if it happens again; immediate termination of character and banishment from the rolepaly.

6. DO NOT FLIRT WITH THE BANHAMMER
