@Junko Enoshima; I think I can relate some to wondering about taking things to far and responding to criticism. Sorry if I'm way off base here, but I get anxious about social interactions (or even interactions on here) because I don't know what people are thinking of what I said. Usually I'm kind of goofy and definitely awkward. It makes me repeat things I've said in my head about 100 times wondering if it was the right thing to say.

Personally, I don't think you should avoid the site because you're afraid of stepping on toes. It's a community where we're all trying to express ourselves and sometimes things will overlap or step on each other. I don't know if there is something specific you are thinking of, but most things are forgotten before long. Though I can understand that it may eat at you longer. We're all here to try to get along and have fun.

Hope that pertains at least a little to what you said. So hard to get context in threads like this.

Why do computers seem to hate me?

@P.K. I feel like computers hate everyone... but they mildly appreciate those who learned how to speak to them.

So today's thoughts...

Well I keep looking at this section of writing -if you can call 33 pages a section- that a person asked me edit. I've had it for 13 days now, but no matter how hard I try I cant focus long enough to get past a page. The concept doesn't seem to mesh well, the story is long and boring, and she tries to sound smarter than she really is -No offense or anything, I by no means am perfect when it comes to writing, but she uses words that don't necessarily fit well in what she's saying-. When I mentioned that -in a much nicer way, of coarse- she says that, that's how she really talks and that she already does "dumb it down for others."

I'm not sure what exactly to tell her, aside from I find this boring and you don't knows a million dollar words every time you talk. There are no nice ways of telling her either of those, so here I'm sitting, trying to kick this thing into submission.

Just edit it truthfully but be prepared to back up your points with reasons. If as you say the story is boring then explain to her the reasons why.

I really think rumors should be shared carefully, Perhaps talk with the one in the rumor first? Because gossip can damage someone's reputation, image and life, cause hug amount of stress and heart ache.
