    Default Saddest anime

I think Grave of the fireflies is the saddest anime ever. I just couldn't stop crying! Bawling ... what do you guys think...

    Thanks Lúthien

Yeah that one's really sad... there's just no hope at all... :(

Another sad one is Fruits Basket. To the point where it can get really depressing toward the end. The beginning is sweet, but then it's like:
    ____ Happy!

    BAWLING YOUR EYES OUT!!!!

And yet i still like it...

Well, I can't say that I'm well versed in the various shows/movies that are out there. However, the saddest one that I've seen was most definitely Voices of a Distant Star.

I can't say I've watched much anime, and half of those I try to start watching, I end up forgetting about or become disinterested in. But out of the ones I've seen, whether fully or partially, there are a few that I found sad.

Full Metal Alchemist, for one. That show is just full of angst. Unfortunately, that was one of the shows I ended up dropping, because I had just started college at the time.

Another one that has its sad moments is Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. It's one big roller coaster. I especially found Ep. 22 of the first season sad. And the ending of the second season was as well. I was not expecting that particular end at all. Several times I've teared up while watching it.

FMA is great, a real tear-jerker. If you get the chance you should re-watch it!!! Also with Brotherhood coming out soon I can't wait to see how that goes!

Code Geass I really wanna see but haven't been able to yet. :(

I'd actually think Death Note. I felt so much sympathy for Light and L both, and the conflict and final culmination just was heart-wrenching. You could see both of their points.

Grave of the Fireflies was so, SO incredibly sad. Spirited Away had me tearing up as well.

I cried during Full Moon wo Sagashite and FMA.

I've cried a few times in Naruto, but not so much as most of the anime's already mentioned.

    Ava.&Sig. Set made by Iris.

Fifteen feels great. I feel like I can actually relate to people now, haha.
