    Enya's POV:

Getting grabbed by a Hades boy and then being shadow traveled had not been on Enya's to-do list. Groaning she opened her eyes only to see the hydras face in her face. Seeing that Fudge was trying to hold off the Hydra she suddenly yelled. "Be right back!" Then she stood up suddenly, turned and clambered up the closest tree, searching for a good branch. Finding one she shifted herself so she had a clear view of the Hydra. Automatically she grabbed one of her arrows from her quiver she lit it up with her lighter, then began shooting at the Hydra.

Pippin never liked the idea of shadow travelling - it was disorienting, it wasn't natural and it left the young demigod feeling sick to the stomach. Doubling over, he decided that dinner was in fact not something necessary. Then he wished he had water to wash out the horrible taste in his mouth though at least now, he could more or less focus on the problems at hand. In this case, the hydra.

The hellhound was exhausted but she kept her ground. Somewhere behind him, he could hear Enya climbing up a tree though with the ruckus and the way his head was swimming, it really could have been anything. With a sweep of its head, the hydra threw the large canine to the side, the dog letting out a blood cooling whimper. Scaly muzzle parted to reveal the forked tongue and the hydra slowly licked its lips, moving towards its catch.

Frowning, the smell of the Hades demigod and the hydra screwing around with his senses and concentration, Pippin pulled out the small veil from his belt, opening it, pale eyes never leaving his target. For a second nothing seemed to happen and then a white gust of wind, straight like an arrow flew towards the monster, piercing the scaly hide with ice cold breath. The monster screamed and recoiled, hissing, it's attention turning to the blonde young man, only a phantom white ghost of a horse between them.

"This is going to be fun," Pippin grinned, extending his hand. It wasn't necessary, just a way to direct the energy and power more precisely. A way to control his venti ever better. And as he snapped, the white wind spirit charged.

Colors swirled together in her vision, a sudden change after having been shadow traveled in complete darkness. Her vision was still fuzzy and her head felt heavy. She vaguely registered the sound of the Hydra hissing, causing her to quickly prop herself up on her elbows.

A sudden wave of nausea washed over her and she squeezed her eyes shut in an attempt to hold it down. Feeling completely overwhelmed and disoriented, she reached toward the back of her head, holding her breath when she realized her hair was sticky with blood.

The ambrosia would have to wait. Pip had his arm out stretched, a slightly crazed grin on his face as held off the hydra. Tugging at her dagger, Rissa blinked back the dizziness and stood up.

    ----

"Are you kidding me?" Macy exclaimed in frustration as Jackal disappeared, leaving only her and a few others remaining. It had all happened so quick, and she didn't have time to hold on to Jackal before he shadow traveled away. It wasn't that she didn't trust the others, but she assumed that she would have been one of the ones to help fight the Hydra. The brunette huffed, slightly miffed at the sudden silence of the recent battle scene.

Jackal saw everyone struggle to just get up let alone focus and find there baring's, based on these events Jackal decided to never shadow travel with anyone else again unless it was totally necessary. Anyway Jackal managed to get up complaining that he was going to be asleep for a long time after this, maybe a day or so. Finally at his feet he saw Fudge get tossed like a rag doll. This pissed him off tired or not nobody hurts his dog. Jackal took a deep breath waiting on the adrenaline rush kick in, his heart started to increase as he pulled out his swords.

He charged at the hydra remembering not to aim for the heads. Luckily there was a spirit attacking plus Enya was shooting fire arrows at it. Jackal was confused by the fact she was in a tree I mean stepping back was already more than effective, getting in a tree is basically stating that hey I'm in a tree please don't knock it over or something like that. So back to attacking the hydra Jackal managed to get past it's many heads and began slashing at it's legs. He climbed on it's back stabbing it directly in spine. That's when mass majority of the heads started looking at him. A few of the serpents heads whipped around snapped at him. Jackal either managed to dodge there attacks or swinging one of his swords before they bit him. He was spinning around at this point giving his attacks more momentum. One of the hydra's heads got too close to Jackal. He took this opportunity to swing both his at his neck chopping it off. "Burn it! Quick Hurry burn it!"

The pain in Enya's shoulders was nearly impossible to ignore. The constant pulling back of her bow was starting to affect her, but she ignored it and instead scurried as far out on the branch as she could. Nearly hanging off the branch, she pulled back once more and sent the fire arrow flying toward the cut off Hydra head that Jackal had cut off.

For a second her concentration wavered, and she nearly shot an arrow at Pip, but at the last second she swerved her bow up and the arrow instead landed nearly Pip's feet, burning out. Cursing herself, instead focused her attention on the landscape around the place where they were battling. Momentarily, she wasn't shooting and instead began to form a plan of how she could make her arrows more effective. They wouldn't kill the Hydra, but they would hurt it.
