Neo Guardians!
Episode 1
Opening Song
Kane walked down the darken corridors in an unknown location somewhere deep within the Uroboros Headquarters, passing by saluting security guards. continuing onward, he sights one of his lieutenants waiting at the elevator, he was a large bald man of African descent, he wore a gray suit and carried with him a cane.

"What brings you here, Corbin?" Kane asked as he approached him.
"I came to accompany you in bringing the reports to Mr. Hemist, sir." he replied. "And to report to you that our forces are prepared to mobilize across the Neo City Market District, they await your word."
"Is that so?" he asked, as they both entered the elevator. "Good....after we deal with this, Ill send the order for the attack."
"However, General. was it wise to send one of the Blue Sirens?" cobrin asked. "She Wouldn't fare well against the Guardians....even that defective pet of hers would do no good..."
"No worries....and that Pet or Czar as the doctor calls him, is still in the experimental stages. Czar was created from her tissue, and I must say she is the finest among my blue sirens. Czar is to become a new generation of Dark Soldiers bred from the finest warriors."
"While I have no doubt of his strength, but with respect, sir. his intelligence is lacking.....the master did not fund our project just for an overgrown child."
"Ah details details, but that currently does not concern me. He'll soon become the first step towards the creation of the powerful army the world has ever seen...."
The soon a bing noise ringed in the elevator, as the doors slide open to a hallway leading to the President's room. "Shall we?" he asked his lieutenant.

Sky was pretending to doze sitting at a table for a outside seating cafe. His jacket was undone revealing the gray collared shirt underneath. His tie was loose and he had the appearance of an extremely tired overworked military agent. However the exact opposite could be said about him. He was fully alert and had all his emergency exits and escape routes memorized. He could escape from any sign of danger within seconds with his eyes closed. The reason behind his choice of appearance was it made him less noticeable by standing out. No one would suspect a man who appears to be out of it to be up to anything.
Sure he wasn't sure if he was up to anything, but he had learned to play it safe sometimes. According to his military files he was an ex-soldier with a disability, now working at a desk job. It was all fake, and he didn't even have a real file. The information about him was stored in the minds of those who assigned him his missions. So two or three people knew all his information. Anyone else who knew who he really was knew him by his code name, Angel. Of course the other guardians knew his real name, but anyone else including all the people in the assassinations department knew him as Angel.
His reason for being this close to the market district when he really wanted to be back in his room was simple. He had gotten tired of laying on his bed watching the ceiling. He wanted to be in the hustle and bustle of everyday life without actually being in it. Hearing the noises of the crowds and hearing his evil half tell him to kill pretty much every passerby was apart of him. If he wasn't near it something felt missing from his life. Plus the cafe had really good deserts and Sky had an enormous sweet tooth.

The president of Uroboros, the king cobra himself was sitting in his office. Incense and candles burned, filling the small room with soothing , though this ironically gave him the sense of fear back in his mind that they would be the cause of a fire one day or another. Other then those nicknacks it was almost drearily neat and stright forward, what one might epect from a former miltary man still thinking the eyes of a first sergent were upon him.
His fingers tapped rapidly on the table; he was accessing the Laplace Max v.4.0, the company's database, a genius of enginering if one were to ask his biased opinion, though a crude interface. "The nuero systems are too dangerous," He kept repeating."Still experimental!" They were, of course of relavtively low risk, but the few tragic mishaps with the technology in it's early stages meant that his fomrer partner, Yurige Mieles didn't exactly have a ball convincing him that they were a profitable product. Things were much better when Yurige was around, he thought.
None the less, Mr. Hemist had new partners nowadays. New partners, and a new buisness. A noble buisness, in his mind. But with so many expansions, it was much more difficult to keep track of it's going ons, which was what he trying to do now, as he was expecting a meeting any minute now rearding there newest plans for, um, expansion. Respect. Money. Power. Despite these, the thought of two partiuclar employess made him shiver. Quickly, he reached for his cup of panecea.
Even the bags under his eyes that just seemed to have been appearing more lately were no match for a mere bean. And for a time, all was good.

Ark had spent the day resourcefully, at a nearby Library. It was a rough three to four blocks from the Market District of Neo City. He spent the morning sipping a cup of coffee and reading articles from the Neo City Newspaper. Sometimes the best investigation tool in his arsenal. Ark took note of the reported bulglaries in the residential districts.
Within those reports Ark noted the amount of Small Arms reported stollen. From careful examination, over two hundred high caliber weapons were stollen. With enough amunition to lock down an entire grid. Ark's emeral eyes would scan through the reports passively. It had been four years going on five he'd been commisioned as a mid ranking officer.
Remembering when he was assigned duty as a Neo Guardian. Had surprised Ark as much as it did the others in the squad. However after a few demonstrations with his sharp shooting, and Kendo mastery. Ark proved himself capable of being a one man wrecking crew. Even amongst 'management' there was debate whether to allow Ark control over a squad.
But for the most part despite ongoing skirmishes with the Uroborous Army. Neo City remained under tight security under the watchful eye of the Guardians. Ark himself wondered if even Neo City was safe anymore. Considering that every attack had been around the region and globe. Thinking to himself on this matter Ark thought quietly inwardly.
"Despite all of the security and counter measures, I have to wonder. Are we really as safe here as the world is out there?"
Shaking his head, Ark lifted up his white cup and sipped the coffee from it. Folding the paper neatly together and tucking it under his right arm. Ark stood up and head toward the door. His standard issue 9mm pistol thumping against his chest while in the holster. He walked silently on foot, carefully placing his feet in quick but silent strides.
Opening the door from the right as more came in from the left. Ark walked to the sidewalk, the traffic of electric hybrid cars streaming from his left. Curiously Ark's emerald hues scanned over at the market district. He noted the crowds growing numbers, and shady looking individuals within that group. As he did Ark walked carefully up the street on foot.
As Ark walked by he was sure he could spot Sky observing the market district. Acknowledging Sky as his supperior, Ark kept his distance. His attention was drawn to the crowd almost like Ark could sense a pending disaster. Hoping in his heart that the people of Neo never had to experience the war here. Ark also acknowledged that in War, anywhere was fair game.
With a silent thought the dread of his gut instincts Ark hoped for the best.
If Sky looked over to Ark he might have notticed the sudden anguish on Arks face.
"Kami if it is in your will please don't let me be right. Not now for once.."

Sky noticed Ark and waved him over as his slice of chocolate cake arrived at the table. At least he wasn't alone at this part of the town. He may have liked being in the middle of a busy part of town, but his instincts were flaring up in thousands of directions. He hoped Ark would join him. He was in the mood for a good chat, or at least he was at the moment. His murderous side hadn't acted up in the past few hours. Usually it was urging him on to kill every person he met. He took a gulp of his coffee and picked up his fork to start eating his cake.
He was watching Ark closely, but discreetly. However he was doing it to the point where Ark would most likely notice he was watching. So even if Ark didn't get the message that he wanted him to come over, he would figure it out after seeing Sky watch him closely. Something was wrong, Sky had noticed the look on Ark's face. It meant that Ark was feeling a similar feeling to Sky. Not only that but the traffic in the market district began to pick up. It was usually packed, but it was becoming progressively heavier.

Kane and Corbin stepped in the President's office side by side, stopping a few steps away from his desk. both bowed and kane spoke. "Sir, I've brought the plans as promised. I think you'll find our little project worth the money." he grinned, handing the chart towards the president. "With your funding, Project Homunculus will be a success."

Elsewhere in the Neo City Market District, a group of five men in coats were existing an alley, blending in the large crowds as they dispersed. "This is Cobra leader...." one of them whispered to a hidden comm-device. "Cobra team is standing by...awaiting orders."
"The General hasn't giving the green light yet. "A female voice responded. "Stand by until further notice."
"Understood.."

Acknowledging that discretion was the better part of valor. Ark nod silently almost and then looked over to Sky, or code name 'Angel'. He felt a certain affinity to the word for some reason. Ark looked back over to Sky and walked over toward him, and walked through an opening in the gate. Bypassing a waitress who asked him for reservations.
"May I join you Angel?"
Protocol was protocol of course, Ark really didn't care to break it. But at that he saw no reason to uphold it either. Though he never outright asked Sky if he gave a damn or not was beside the point. Pulling the nearest seat and sitting down quietly he put the newspaper out for Sky to peer at. He kept his face slightly turned looking over to the alleyway perpendicular to the market sector.
"Some interesting police beats in the paper today. Apparently retired ex-millitary have had guns raided from their lock boxes."
Even in Neo City stiff laws undermining the black market for laws stood. When he was briefed on the city's gun laws. He scoffed at having to keep the M40A1 Assault Rifle locked in a gun locker. But given the choice between that and not being able to carry his side arm. Ark even liked it less having to keep his Massamune mounted.
While one could tell at first glance, Ark concealed his kendo stick. Concealed tightly in his trenchcoats right back. Beside the 9mm the kendo stick was the most powerful weapon in his arsenal. Besides his Massamune, but perhaps there were some things yet to be discovered. Ark felt a certain kinship between himself and the other Guardians.
"Sky if you had to say so, would you think that Neo City is really safe from Uroboros? Considering the outer border conflicts that have devastated world trade from the start."
All in all it was a front, but maticulously crafted to throw off someone watching. But beside that Ark actually was speaking from the heart. As deceptively well thought out it was. The difference was, Ark wasn't afraid to tell someone whether they were appreciated or not.

Sky nodded as Ark joined him and read through the paper laying out with a trained eye. All the while eating his cake and keeping up appearances of meeting an old acquaintance from work. "Interesting question. I would have to say that that is really unknown. I mean yes our city is safe to a certain extent. With the new soldiers running around in the Uroboros we might not have a chance. Even though our own army has five of these soldiers, and are said to be a team of elite soldiers. Even with that it really depends on the competence of those five individuals themselves. If they fail then our city wont be able to stand up against the force Uroboros has put together."
It had been hard to communicate that in secret. That was something he had been worrying about as well lately. He knew Ark would understand, but he couldn't blow his cover so he had to make it harder. If Sky and his friends failed to fight the immense force that was Uroboros it would leave the whole city in peril.
Kill him Sky. You know you want to. Please let me kill him, it wont but take thirty seconds. Please?. Sky had been wondering when his sadistic nature would show up. Of course he wouldn't kill Ark, but that wouldn't mean nothing was going to happen. He couldn't completely control his murderous half. So now for the rest of the conversation he would have to listen to both Ark and the insidious comments flying through his head.
Sky mentally went over all his weapons making sure they were all present. Something still didn't feel right. He had his Browning 9x19mm Hi-Power stored in a secret pocket on the left side of his jacket. He had two concealed knives on both of his upper arms. Four more knives just above the waist line under his shirt. One hidden the a secret compartment on the bottom of both his shoes, and two on the outside of each of his thighs. That was all fourteen of his knives and his gun. He didn't have his sword today, because that would be an oddity to try and hide.

Meanwhile, deep within the Uroboros Headquarters, in an underground complex. A man wearing glasses walked down a dimly lilted grand hall of sorts, walking past slowly sliding doors leading to a laboratory. his clothing was a mixture of red, gold and black. he too carried a cane.
[spoiler]

The lab was full with sorts of machines and busy scientists. out of the machines in the lab, the most noticeable were thirteen tubs set against the walls in rows of six, with the last out standing in between. within them was a green liquid of sorts, as well as eggs. As the man walked in, he was greeted by one of the scientists. "Commander Leonev! has the General gotten results from the president?"
"Not that I know of." he replied, soon changing the subject. "How goes the progress for the thirteen prototypes?"
"It's going well, sir." he replied. "The eggs have been fertilized and are growing as we speak." he paused, passing a chart to the commander. "We can expect them to reach maturity within five months. however...we may or may not experience compilations in their growth."
"As long they survive, that is all that needs to be done." Leonev said, handing the chart back to the scientist. "Once we receive the proper funding's and begin tests runs with the prototypes. We can breed an army of these creatrures."

chaostempest:
The echoing of footsteps could be heard down the long corridors. Two figures strode in rhythm with one another as the passed door after door heading towards a destined location.
The rounded a corridor, their stride never breaking in it's rhythm, closely approaching their destination. The lights dimmed slightly as they two beings closed in on the President's office.
"General Kane, General Xielon here, are you in the President's office?" the figure spoke into a comm device. The other figure simply slowed it's pace and stood only feet away from the President's office door.
"Xielon, we should get going, we have a mission to accomplish," the figure spoke in a light tone.
"In a moment Avalon, I have to make sure that things are running smoothly," Xielon replied identifying his brother finally.
General Xielon waited for General Kane's response while Commander Avalon approached a staircase that led to the inner most bowels of the Uroboros Headquarters.
He quickly strode down the stairs, his pace quick and steady, soon he burst through a pair of doors, "Commander Leonav," Avalon spoke, giving recognition to both Commander Leonav and the Scientist, "Is everything going according to plan?" he added a raised eyebrow upon his face as he looked over the chart that another Scientist handed him.
General Xielon stood outside of the President's Office awaiting General Kane's response, he took a seat, not wanting to barge into the office.
