Shin.Aether:
Ark looked over to Sky with a bit of a shrug. He seemed a little disapointed in the fact he couldn't slew his opponent as easily as Sky had offed his. Looking over to him he spoke with a little bit of fatigue in his voice.
"I couldn't manage to off him, he was a lot stronger then I thought. Telekinetics are a bit tricky for me. I need to train when we get back to command."
Meanwhile Ark could hear the background of 'boros and World Defense Soldiers slugging it out. And what he discerned as a grenade going off. Whatever was going on he knew that the WDB Soldiers were no pushovers. At the same time he knew his comrades came from their ranks. While he was an outsider trained as a Battlebrand by his Sensei.
"I heard that command has a Battle Simulator just installed, is it any good?"
Though his master would smack him for not relying on nature. And using a mechanical machine to train his mind body and soul. He saw other oppurtunities in using a Sim to accomplish his goals.

Sigma:
After few minutes pass, loud roaring of engines of VTOL craft could be head throughout the market district. at least seven were seen soaring through the skies, lowering themselves in different sections of the district and out. WDB soldiers streaming out, securing their LZs as they locate the civilians to evac them.
The other remaining members of Cobra team hide themselves from the soldiers, falling back knowing the battle is a loss.
--------
Treal gritted hear teeth at the arrival of WDB reinforcements. she then sent a message to the generals through the comm-link. "Generals, I'm afraid the mission is a failure. We're pulling out." she then turned to Czar, "We're leaving. things are getting too hot for us to handle." he simply nodded, complying with her orders.
Within moments, energy wings ignited from bracelet-like devices around her wrists and legs, and lifted up to the air and sped off. Czar followed in suit by making large leaps as they exited the city.
--------
Back with the three guardians, all their communication devices begun beeping. as they looked who it was, the Commander's voice came up. "Congratulations Team. you've been able to repel the enemy long enough to prevent any lasting damage. now return to base and get some rest, the troops sent will deal with the rest."
The commander then cut off afterwards.
--------
As the General and corbin entered the elevator, he received the news of Uroboros forces falling back. "Damnit!" Kane cursed as he punched the wall of the elevator. "Another failed raid." Corbin said.
Kane calmed himself down, clearing his throat. "It does not matter....there will be many other chances." he then made an evil grin. "For soon the guardians will meet their match...."

Neo Guardians!
Episode 2
Three months have passed since the Uroboros attack on the Market District. since then uroboros activities have been less rampant, but frequent. Dark Soldier attacks are reported at least once or twice a every week. and their numbers seem to shrink, which poses a threat to Uroboros.
However, at the same time, mass disappearances have been reported. military personnel in outposts and bases, and civilians across the world have gone missing, most suspect it's the work of Uroboros.
----------
Neo City, Metropolitan area
In the dead of night, the city is bustling with life. it's citizens unaware of most of the dangers currently lurking in the dark corners of the city.
From high above, atop of the towering buildings, a pale, manta-like dark soldier leaped from building to building, attempting to escape a pursuing WDB gunship. he turned back to see the ship still following him. he soon landed on the next building, ready to attack.

From inside the gunship, the neo guardians held on to the bars as the sliding hatch opened. "Target in sight!" the pilot shouted, looking back. "Get ready to drop before he gets away!"

Squitz:
Archos walked down the street, watching as the people on the street seemed to part to open way for him. It was a simple patrol mission. Suddenly, a helicopter came roaring into hearing range. "What's going on?" Archos shouted, resting his assault rifle against his shoulder as the platoon marched down the street. High above, the sounds of helicopter blades muffled any other noises within 5 city blocks.
"Up there!" Prixus pointed his gun barrel up at the rooftops, watching as a shape jumped all the way over the four-lane street to the building on the other side.
The platoon opened fire at the shape as it reached the building and crouched, waiting for the helicopter to come within range. Suddenly, the pedestrians on the street began screaming, and the drivers of vehicles got out to look overhead.
"We need to clear out the area. We can't have this kind of collateral damage." Prixus pointed to several soldiers in the platoon, motioning to them. "Get the civilians out of the area," he then motioned to Archos, "We need to get to the roof and give that chopper some support." Archos nodded and the two ran to the building across the street from the Dark Soldier and made their way to the rooftop.
As they reached the door to the rooftop, Prixus muttered softly to himself. "I hope everything works out." He turned the door handle and pushed the door open.

Katosu:
Sout let go of the bar slowly, using his sheer force of balance to keep himself held perfectly upright as he rested his hands behind his back. He looked over to the soldier with a slight smirk.
"My, you guys sure do like to give loud wake-up calls to the city, don't you?"
He gave a sarcastic statement as he looked out over at the target. His rapier dangled at his side lightly, seeming ready to be grabbed and taken into battle. Sout had already started to analyze his enemy - he started to wonder if that somewhat aerodynamic build would prove to become a problem during the course of the fight.
With a simple step of his feet, he allowed himself to slowly leave the helicopter. Falling gracefully, he landed a rooftop away from the target, already having his weapon drawn. He wasn't a combat specialist - but his blade and light arts made him as formidable an enemy as any for the one standing before him.
His eyes never left the target, as he quickly started to approach with his weapon drawn. He wanted to see the first attack the monster would do - the first action it would take in response to his presence.

chaostempest:
Avalon and Xielon stood atop a taller building overlooking that battle that would soon come. The aerodynamically designed dark soldier would prove to be more of a pest than they Guardians hoped for.
A smirk crossed Xielon's face as he watched, perched atop the sharp point of the building tip that would impale any normal human. Avalon was standing atop a equally pointy tip as he too watched.
"This ought to be interesting," Avalon said as he crossed his arms and waited.
"Fool," Xielon muttered as he watched Sout advance on the dark soldier.
-
Sigma:
"Grrraaaa!!!!" the Dark Soldier cried out as he charged towards sout, his claws at the front. as he approached sout ever closer, to the point of the two engaging. the creature suddenly jolted upward, using his natural ability to be aerodynamic and circled around him.
"Hahahahahaha!" he laughed hysterically in a dark gurgled tone, and dived down towards sout. "Prepare to die, guardian!"
-
Shin.Aether:
"Did you think it would be that easy to make a snack out of a Guardian?"
"My, my, what a voracious freak of nature you are."
Ark had come down right behind Sout on the roof of the building. This time his battle gear and weaponry were on him. The shine of the moon off his personal Massamune gave off a baleful incandescent light. While shouldered to his person was an M40A1 Assault Rifle. With a Spectre 40x Nightvision Scope. Compliments of the WDB R & R division.
"You've just been denied your meal, now prepare to bleed 'boros."
Suddenly the rifles muzzle lit up like a roman candle. Shooting deadly Incindeary rounds from half the distance on the rooftop. Capable of melting the strongest armors like a heated knife through butter. In the time since the first attack Ark had trained since then in the command battle simulator.
And in that time he had perfected a new technique whom no one had seen.
Hidding behind the dark urban colored optic camouflage. Ark seemed to blend in with the surrounding cityscape. Through a collection of well placed mirrors, some that bent light, and other that refracted it a favorable angle.
Were it not for him firing his rounds into the soldier. Ark would've had the advantage of stealth. However his anxiousness to fight since the Marketplace Incident, proved his undoing.
-
lombax:
Sky dropped from the helicopter landing on the edge of the building skillfully. He let his eye zoom in on the creature and track its progress and speed predicting vulnerable moments at which it would be easily killed. His sword was strapped across his back and he had one of his knives in his right hand. He watched the movements of his two friends and smiled. This fight would prove to be most difficult even for the three of them. It wasn't every day you had to tackle an aerodynamic flying mutant. "Sout, Ark how about we bring this guy back down to earth. The hard way."
-
Sigma:
With no time to form a magical barrier to deflect Ark's attack, the creature screamed in pain as some of the Incindeary rounds pierced his flesh. his right shoulder and left leg were hit. "Gaaaa!" he screamed, as the red orb above his face begun to glow. red beams of energy were shot out from the orb, firing randomly at the guardians.
