    Hoef hasn't given any ETA yet for his post, and everyone else has practically disappeared, so maybe a short fast-forward is in order. Since your character is originally from Finland, maybe we can skip to the Winter War and say that Sofroniusz (Hoef's character) arrived there as well. How does that sound to you guys?
