[M] Abyss: Never Leaving The Rabbit Hole [OOC]

Ladies and Gentlemen, skinny and stout,
I'll tell you a tale I know nothing about,
The admission is free, so pay at the door,
Now pull up a chair and sit on the floor.

One bright day in the middle of the night,
Two dead boys got up to fight;
Back to back they faced one another,
Drew their swords and shot each other.

A blind man came to watch fair play,
A mute man came to shout "Horray!"
A deaf policeman heard the noise and
Came and killed those two dead boys.

He lived on the corner in the middle of the block,
In a two-story house in a vacant lot;
A man with no legs came walking by,
And kicked the lawman in his thigh.

He crashed through the wall without making a sound,
Into a dry creekbed and suddenly drowned;
The long black hearse came to cart him away,
But he ran for his life and is still gone today.

I watched from the corner of the big, round table,
The only eyewitness to facts of my fable;
But if you doubt my lies are true,
Just ask the blind man, he saw it too.

Spoiler: Where you are 

There has always been multiple universes, which all exist within a black space called Quelda. All around us, there exist ways to travel to each one, but any sentient race in these universes are not advanced to find them, even though they create new passages everyday. Now, it is wrong to say that every choice made in the universes creates a new one, as vast amounts of energy would be needed from Quelda itself, which could end up destroying it. It is also wrong to call them "parallel worlds," as they do not stand next to each other. They are dotted throughout Quelda, some close together, some alone in their own little corner. The more scientifically advanced races of each universe barely even recognize that Quelda exists, and most ignore it, calling them a silly story or fantasy.

One of those universes is Ferator, existing right under the universe of Trea. A gray and blue spiral, things were always... Weirder than the other universes, to say the least. Green water, red chlorophyll, many strange things happen here. Within Ferator, a small planet named Androx, a land still stuck in the Medieval period, is no exception to this strangeness, and the evidence is there. For one, things like races aren't present in Andreiyex. Everyone is a different thing, and while similarities occur, almost none of them can breed. While they may have romantic feelings, actual blood-related family do not exist. But how, you might be asking, do the people of Androx get born? They don't. They just pop into any random place all over the world, only knowing their name.

Spoiler: What is happening 

You, or at least half of you, are humans from the planet Earth. One day, you were sleeping, then suddenly you were in an entirely new place. This place is Androx. Locals report a strange pillar of blackness appearing, but what no-one knows that humans, albeit accidentally, from another universe has come into theirs. You will wake up confused and scared at the local wildlife. Also, I forgot to mention, every animal on Androx is a sentient being, "born" into the world. That leaves only the plants, and they are menacing little pests. "Pests" as in things that can kill you.

On the other side, people all over the world are reporting to Selra, which is a service designed by the kings and queens in this land to help with any major problem within the land, that a mysterious entity has been spotted over some small villages. It has been described a floating, liquid light that travels along the trees. This normally wouldn't be an issue, but every time this light has been seen in a town, every villager disappears after 2-3 days. There is no trace of them, only the houses and fields left behind. Though, there are some that say they've seen flickering lights here and there in these ghost towns. This is where the other half of the players come in. You are one of Selra's members, a person willing to do what is needed to get your payment. Or you can do it out of the kindness of your heart. I wouldn't recommend it.

Abilities: Self-reconstructing (basically shapeshifting); manipulation of nearby metal; terrible puns; inability to physically feel
History: Since her arrival on Androx, she's basically been a sort of "wandering sword," doing odd jobs here and there, and then moving on to another area. Nobody really knows why she does it. Heck, neither does she. When she accepts a job, she accepts it for free or a very low cost. Everything ranging from buying groceries to death contracts, she takes and completes.
Personality: While it would seem like someone like her would be a deadpan robot, she really isn't. Sure, she can freeze all motion in her face and make the best pokerface you've ever seen, but she's no android. In fact, she'd be insulted if you called her anything like that. She's no machine; there are no wires or coding. She's just a metal... thing. She'd simply prefer to be called Synthia. She really enjoys her work even though most people have no idea why. Of course, when things become dull, she has an entire arsenal of bad puns that would drive anyone to insanity or death-by-laughter.
