[M] Flame of Nilrahan: Of Blood and Cinder

What do we do when giant monsters roamed our lands? How do we act when dragons flew across the sky? What do frail creatures like us do when they slaughter our kin? We hide underneath their feet, we took refuge under the ground. Kept us safe for thousands of years. We lived in darkness, without a light to illuminate our goals. Until we found an unimaginable power, a power that enables us weak and fragile creatures stood up against the masters of the surface! Torygg, the High Elder found the Flame of the Valorous. He believed that this small, flickering flame was a fragment of a fallen god, a Daedr. With this flame, they forged powerful weapons. The small flame soon began to grow as the people that hides began to have courage to stand up against the ones above.

Torygg and his fellow companions forged weapons and armors for something big. They are preparing for war, a war that could last for years without the Flame. With the armors made by the power, Torygg lead the army onto the surface and for once, they see light and felt the warmth of the surface. The war starts, and giants fell, the ground shakes as they tumble down to the solid ground. The dragons who soared the skies can breath fire no more as Torygg's men struck their throats with the Sunstrider Spears. The war was fought hardly and every man gets stained with the blood of the monsters. With the brave High Elder on their side, they succeeded to exterminate all of the former masters of their lands. But there is one dragon left, the demonic dragon which Torygg cannot kill, even defeat it. It was known as the End Bringer and no one could stop it. Torygg manages to encase the dragon in a crystal stone.

With victory had been finally achieved, Torygg was called as the King of Flames. By this, he founded his own kingdom named Nilrahan. A kingdom that had been built upon the fields of war and the ashes of the burnt bones of the dead. Nilrahan prospered during the early centuries. Torygg hid the End Bringer deep inside his castle, hoping that no one ever finds it. Until the current monarch of Nilrahan, who foolishly ventured into the castle's forbidden areas and sets the End Bringer free for an exchange for power. But the demonic dragon kills the foolish ruler and brings chaos back into Nilrahan, turning it into a batlleground once again. The End Bringer brought only a few giants and dragons back to life, for the seemingly immortal dragon needs them to guard the kingdom from any warrior. For he fears one thing, the Prophecy of the Priestess.

"Beasts had taken over a civilised kingdom,
Rumors spread of its tragic downfall,
For a foolish monarch made it come true,
The rumors spread across the mortal world,
And kingdoms sent their finest men in,
But only their souls walk out,
As the flame of hope flickers in the dark,
Darkness began to swallow the world,
But when warriors had a burning soul,
And ventured in this forsaken land,
Light had been rekindled,
For the Bearers of the Flame had returned."

The Undying had been scrapped for it will not work well in this RP
It had been replaced by the Bearers of the Flame

Bearers of the Flame
They are the individuals mentioned as 'warriors'. These warriors had a soul different from others. Different from Talonbornes and different from normal creatures. The Bearers had a soul that had a fragment of a Daedr's soul. The Flame of the Valourous is a small fragment of a Daedr's soul. And was the only fragment to be manifested as a fire. However, the other fragments were drifted across the world, finding a body. Not a dead body but an unborn child. The Bearers had the ability to sense beasts such as dragons and giants.

Whose soul was splitted into fragments and left drifted across the world? It was Arien, the Daedr who fought against the fallen Daedr, Kha'Ran a.k.a the Tempered Wrath. This can be explained in the opening scene of Talonborne

Your Duty To Fullfill The Prophecy
The final lines of the Prophecy, unstated before:

Will they reignite hope?
To let the Flame of Hope grew bigger?
Or will they let our world succumb to darkness?

The Prophecy itself reveals what is the outcome of their return. Will they slay the End Bringer and stop his plans to devour the world as we know it? Or will they serve him as a Dark Lord?

Races
Humans are the native race of Ochlion. They possess average skills in everything except for their high courage and strong will. Resides in all of Ochlion.

"Mankind is always there since the beginning,
The first to roam the lands,
The first to start a war,
The first to end a war,"

Dwarves are commonly known for their skills in smithing. Masters of the craft and the professionals in heavy weapons. Although short, Dwarves make a deadly swing with its weapon.

"Dwarves are men's finest craftsmen,
The best in engineering,
And the best in weapons,
What they lack in height,
Makes them a formidable race

Elves had been called as the master archers and assassins in all of Ochlion. But not in the surrounding kingdoms of Nilrahan for they excel in sword fighting and using spells. So no archers and assassins here.

"Masters of the bow and arrow,
Walkers in the shadow stealthily silenced one to death,
For each defeat,
Means an error had to be fixed for them,"

Mordenblight and Reptors are the animal humanoid of Ochlion. Mordenblights are feline humanoids and Reptors are reptilian humanoids. The excel in hunting a prey and finding a weakness.

"The finest hunters created by Isanya herself,
Blessed with keen eyes they stalk their prey,
And slay them while folloing their code of honor,
But retreating is never an option,"

Other Information

Spoiler: Known organisations in Nilrahan 

The First Order or known as The Old Order is a faction that had pledged to guard the doors to the End Bringer's prison. An elite organization of knights, they wield heavy weapons that normal humans could not carry and despise magic.

The Church of Light is a rather small organisation that had optimists fought what they believe. They believe that light is the true way to achieve salvation. They are usually seen wearing knight armor with a scarf that had a symbol of a stick with a snake around it.

Guardians of the Forsaken are an order that protects the mental asylum of Nilrahan and also guardiang the prisons. The Guardians were skilled in archery and heavy combat. When the End Bringer returned, they began to split up and some even turned into a Cursed, or in other words evil.

Dream Dwellers acts as Nilrahan's overseers of the future. They had prophecised that the return of the End Bringer will bring upon the destruction of Nilrahan. But King Yurius, the monarch who unleashes the demonic dragon also had been prophecised that "A king of a kingdom so mighty will bring upon the destruction their beloved homeland"

Covenant of the Light are the holy order of knights. They act as demon hunters and served the king as his personal demon slayers and even the king selected a few to be his personal bodyguards. Worked closely with the Dwellers, the Covenant knights also guards End Bringer's prison.

Dragon Slayer Covenant are another order of knights that protects Nilrahan from dragons that came from other lands such as the continent of Yaelin and Parthenon. Notable member is Dragon Slayer Juno.
