The Dark Age {OOC}{M}
When Earth habitats were large animals called Dinosaurs, it lived a peaceful moment. A humanoid civilization made its presence on Earth when they roamed, studying each living organism. Placing rare specimens in containments and taken back to their home world. The humanoids looked human. 7 foot tall, incredible strength, and far more advanced then other alien life. After a year or so on Earth and discovered a meteorite was soon to strike Earth and wipe out the Dinosaur existence. They quickly left the surface and remained above atmosphere and watched the armageddon occured.
A recon team explored the charred surface. Discovering scorch lands, and every life form gone. But that was not all that remained. The recon team found the landing pact of the meteorite, studying the hard surface as it was still burning. Radiation was far more deadly, taking off their suits would mean their death. They studied the crashed site for hours, learning of would it become. When they discovered something so terrifying, it was too late to turn back.
A darkness had come alive, infecting the recon team and turning their bodies into monstrosity. Not only the recon team, but the remains of Dinosaur fossils as well. Bringing the dead, back to life. But in a more horrifying situation. The humanoids wanted to bring life back to Earth, and the darkness wanted to destroy it.
A war raged between the humanoids, and the darkness. The war waged on for years, thousands of humanoids have died, but were turned into monsters by the darkness. The humanoid forces were lead by Kadan Vesh, who was a feet taller then his people, and he led the final battle again'st the darkness.
The Humanoid army wore rare metal armor, found in water planets, one such as Earth. Weapons were mostly used in melee, wrist blades, swords, shields, spears, bows and arrows. As for their long range were plasma staffs, though have a delayed recharge. Their rank classes were Strikers, Brutes, Rangers, Soldiers, and Brawlers.
Strikers are duel wielders, either it be swords, wrist blades, or gauntlets. When a battle has begun, they are the first to charge in. Medium armor users.
Brutes are the fiercest warriors, unlike the rest, these Brutes prefer heavy weapons, such as war hammers. Crushing their opponents with brute force, hence the name. Wearing heavy armor, making them more slower, but resist more damage.
Rangers are the long range users, Bows and Arrows, Crossbows, Plasma Staffs. They carry a secondary weapon, either a dagger or a sword, for close fights when the enemy advance on their position. Crossbow users are rare, fires bolts from a rotating drum. Several Humanoids use these. They wear light armor, so they can move quickly around areas.
Soldiers are the basic warriors used for combats, carrying a shield, and either sword, mace, club, axe. They are the secondary front line battle warriors. They wear medium armor for battle, sometimes heavy if the need arises.
Brawlers are warriors who fight with their fists. Skilled in the martial arts, their hands trained for deadly head locks, bone breaking and skull cracking. When in combat, they do not wear any type of armor, they prefer speed, and strength.
When the final battle took place, they struggled for a stronghold at a place called, "The Great White Mountain." Kadan Vesh led his forces to strike the heart of the enemy. The battle took hours, but were moments away from either defeat or victory. Kadan fought the darkness lord, with only his sword and shield. The Darkness was the same height, same strength. The fight took several minutes, and Kadan was victorious again'st the Monster. His sword slew the creature, but not completely, instead, the Monster flees into the mountain along with it's minions.
Ships burned the entire planet with plasma energy beams. The dead were burned so they could not be turned. As for the Darkness, staying inside of the mountain. Barrier shield doors were crafted, and placed at the only entrance of the mountain. Lord Kadan Vesh sighs in relief and in victory. When scouts reported of no other dark creature roaming on the planet, he gives a nod and turned to his brethren. "Good, these doors must remain closed, it can not be ever found."
2015
When the years passed as humanity existance evolved and became advanced with technology and the Humanoids watched Earth since the extinct dinosaur age. Humanity has been digging into Earths ground for minerals and resources, a certain country had begun to dig inside of the mountain. When they had discovered the entrance created by Humanoids, they had found a way to open the doors.
Kadan Hayden, given the title of becoming the new leader of the Humanoids, recieved word of what was happening on Earth. Observation Drones sent feedbacks of monsters wrecking havoc on Earth, devouring humans, destroying life, infecting everything. Earths' military were no match agains't the darkness, it did not take long for them to flee as well.
Kadan Hayden looked to his Generals. "Mobilize the fleet, send our forces to Earth, the Darkness cannot escape!"
"But my Lord, the fleet will take days to assemble, and the fleet will need time to be supplied."
"A few of our forces can be advanced to Earth in hours, but only a few can be sent. If we send them, they can try to delay the enemies advancement."
Kadan Hayden took a moment and breaths in slowly, exhales with grief. "Send in the Elites."
Out of story.
Okay this is about as far as I can get with the story. The main plot of this is...stay alive. If you need any questions, you can always ask.
