In the aftermath of the destruction of the silver age civilizations, the magically-inclined elves and fae created their own civilizations, rich in magic and culture. Thus began the Bronze Age, in which many of the classical deities such as Zeus, Thor, and Lugh rose to power… many of which were killed in the dragon/giant-assisted human uprising that brought an end to the bronze age. The elves and fae, as it turned out, didn’t learn the lesson of the giants, and were cruel overlords to the younger human race.

Now we live in the Iron Age, where the human races have created the dominant civilizations of the world. The great dragons, giants, and fae of history still live, but their power has waned significantly over the millennia, and the rapid growth and development rates of humanity have posed a threat to their very extinction at times.

Yet throughout all this time… Bahamut and Tiamat, along with their metallic and chromatic descendants, have been regaining their strength. Knowing that the dragons are no match for humanity on an epic scale, they instead pit humans, elves, and other races against each other. Another dragon war is on the horizon… a war which will reshape the world once again. Gods will fight gods, dragons will fight dragons… and mortals will rise to replace the fallen. Who will rise from the ranks of the common folk to become the lords and deities of the age to come?
