Some furniture today, I think.
My skytable, something I imagine on a zeppelin.
My impression of a Senate desk, with the deskbox top and the shelf. These date from before the Senators had offices.
Another desk - campaign style - often boxy with reinforced corners, this was used by frequent travelers, especially military officers in the field, although the rank and file would also make pieces to bring with them.
A campaign writing box now - something to hold your stationery.
But then I also dream of space.
This I came up with for a game, a variation on a fire control console, sans feet restraint loops.
Of course, what good is a fire control console without something to direct? My Evil Eye, a ball gun turret like the WW2 bombers had.
Of course, in space, aerodynamics doesn't count for anything. So why not have hatches along the hull for small craft? Or perhaps the box cutter?
Right now in Navy ships, you'll find coffin lockers, these tight little bunks.
And this is the new version, the sit up bunk. Surprisingly copied image.
The USS Clarkson, a Magellan-class survey saucer, one of the few remaining active in service. The Survey service has one set up by the Academy as a museum ship. The Clarkson remains in service as a sort of "leper colony" for those screw-ups the brass wants to hide away. That would be me.
