Spoiler: Information On How The Tournament Came To BeOnce upon a time the world was faced with a war. A war against a mysterious race known as "The Forgotten". The empires of the world came to together and forged one empire known as Terra Centaurus. However despite this, the world was losing this war however they had plans to turn the tide of the war into their favor. They initiated a mission that was code named "Operation Champion". This mission took the top twenty soldiers from all the soldiers that were in any of the branches of the military, and put them into one team. Their mission was to destroy the main headquarters of "The Forgotten". If they did it would severely cripple "The Forgotten" and would turn the tide of war into the favor of the rest of the world. However there was a reason this was a last ditch effort. One team, responsible for destroying the main base of the enemy that always won was suicidal. It was a Hail Mary. No one thought that they would succeed.
However a month later when "The Forgotten" were about to attack the last city of Terra Centaurus, the news of Operation Champion came back as a success. That day, was the turning point of the war. After humanity won the war and mostly wiped out all of "The Forgotten", they decided to honor the day tides of war changed. That day of when the tides changed became known as "The Day of Champions". The month before that day was filled with a tournament named, "The Champion Tournament". The Tournament allow any number of people to fight and compete for a slot in the final bracket. The top twenty fighters of the tournament would fight in the week before "The Day of Champions". The winner of the tournament would be crowned a Champion on "The Day of the Champions" and would be given their rewards that go with being a champion.
