Deiliha seemed curious as to why Sam was laughing, but the man wasn't about to confide that yet. He simply waved her off, then shrugged and stared at the people around them. He didn't know how "easy" the sins would be to him, someone born and raised in perfect purity. Of course she would say as much, she were a demon after all, but surely some sins would be harder for him than others. It would be easier to steal than to murder. At the thought, Sam turned his attention to the ground. Murder, he'd already taken care of that one.

He shook his head and looked at her again. "Booze?" he repeated. Sam had had booze before, and he hated the stuff. Angels didn't get drunk, so he'd drank just to taste, and had been disappointed with what he'd received. He did remember that it made men do stupid things, but Sam wasn't too excited about losing control of himself. He didn't want to commit something grave. How would that sit on his conscience? He raised a brow when the demon mentioned ladies. Did Deiliha want him to...? Sam turned away at that. Well, it was supposed to be fun. Was he into that? He wasn't sure, and didn't know if he'd want to find out.

The ex-angel thought on it for a while. He considered it while he scanned the people around him, then brought his eyes back to Deiliha. "Okay," he finally said. "How bad can it be? Just make sure I don't put myself in danger, alright?"

He thought it over and she watched as the training from being an angel kicked in not knowing what path to fallow or how he felt about it. He had a human soul and body now but that did little to change his brain after all you spend long enough telling a child it was worthless the more they grow up believing that its true and then thought becomes reality and they are forever labeled completely worthless and useless to others. She chuckled at the thought knowing exactly what that felt like for in her human life she was just that, worthless.

He agreed and told her to not allow him to be in danger she raised a eyebrow at him a smile playing across her lips “I couldn’t allow you to die darling that would not do me any good.” Getting up and setting money down on the table “shall we?”

She knew it was bad of her but she was curious what would the angel have to tell her when his tongue was loosened by alcohol. She had never seen a human old enough to drink with a clean sleight so watching how he would act make for an interesting experience. Would he see her as more of a demon or less when his eyes became clouded? Would he want her? How would she react to him wanting her? things she shouldn’t think about forcing her mind to silence she walked out to the car pulling a cigarette from her pocket lighting it with a small blue flame coming from the tip of her thumb. Leaning against the car she watched the night sky waiting for the angel to begin his ride to hell.

He could tell the demon was thinking on something, but he couldn't tell what. She was right: letting him kill himself because he was drunk would get her nowhere. Maybe she really did have to keep him alive, especially if his earlier thoughts were going to come to fruition. Saving a demon soul... Could such a thing really be done? Would such a thing really earn him his wings back? He figured it was good to have two plans. If talking to Luci and gaining his loyalty didn't work, he could always focus his attention on Deiliha instead.

They were leaving, and Sam followed the demon. Was she intending to take him to get drunk now? He tried to remember the anatomy of it, how alcohol was consumed and absorbed by a human body. He hated anatomy, though, and soon grew bored with his own thoughts. "You're taking me to a bar?" he asked, hating that they were going back to the car. He watched, curiously, as Deiliha lit her own cigarette. Smoking, another thing he'd hated. He never understood why the humans intentionally did things to harm their inner organs, but then, maybe now he could understand. Maybe the drug's effects would finally be felt by him. He nudged Deiliha slightly. "Got an extra light?" he asked.

A smoker and a drinker. It was almost funny, watching himself come to this. He had to keep reminding him that it was all for a purpose, that soon he would be returned to the pure being he once was. For now he just had to hold out, and let the bad habits claim him.

She raised an eyebrow as he asked her for a light implying he wanted a cigarette “I don’t think you’ll like it but it truly isn’t my place to stop you.” Handing him her lit cigarette she chuckles “no point in lighting two if we aren’t certain you can take a whole one. Yes I plan on taking you to the bar, I figure I’ll sit back and let you do your thing if you need my help I shall help you, but I don’t want to hang around you it would run off potential scenarios that would open the door for you to do what needs to be done.”

She hated the way they were planning on forcing this angel to sin to taint his soul with the darkness that surrounded her but she made certain to keep that to herself after all where would it get her to care for the enemy of her kind? If he had his wings he would end her without even thinking about it and he would probably take her out once he could. She needed to step back from this man for he seemed to be drawing out more human emotions from her then she had found on her own and even now she wanted to be around him scaring off the woman who would no doubt come to his side hoping to end up in his bed.

This was both confusing and disturbing to her after all she had not been attached to someone since she was actually human and the thought of being attached to an angel made her fear for her own sanity. It clouded her judgment and she had no doubt if she did not keep herself in check it would cause her to act out of character and create a riot between him and the devil or even one of hells spies all they needed was one window of weakness and they would not hesitate to use that to destroy her. Sighing she reaching out ruffling his hair before turning a climbing into the car, before the door shut she spoke “just toss that when you are done. I don’t smoke in the car.”

Sam looked over the cigarette curiously. It smelled awful, and the way its smoke filled the air reminded him of a story of hell he'd heard once. Truly, he thought, this was something born of hell, this poison he was to spill in his mouth. Sam sighed, and he breathed in on the stick. The taste that filled his mouth made him want to vomit, but instead he felt a coughing fit come up. Sam winced as the spasms shook him, but he soon calmed down. He glanced towards Deiliha and tried again, figuring he had just done it wrong. He took another breath, and he could feel a fire crawling down his throat. It made its way to his lungs, and he stayed, uncomfortable, for a long moment before finally breathing out.

It took a moment, but the high did come to him. There was an elation that came with this drug, some cloud nine feeling that lasted all too short. He cocked his head at the tube in his hand, wondering how something bad could feel good, if only for a short while. Was that it? He tossed the cigarette then, its purpose fulfilled. His lungs felt warm, his breath felt foul. He'd smoked his first, for better or worse.

Sam then hesitated. He didn't know what to make of his act. An angel would never take something like a cigarette, but there he had been. Maybe his purity was all lost. He shook his head. There was no time to think on that. He looked back to the driver. "Thanks," he said. "Now we try some bourbon, huh? Isn't this an exciting day." That was one word for it.

She laughed as he named hard liquor but she didn’t correct him after all tonight would be a learning experience for the angel. She had started the car and when he climbed in it didn’t take long for her to take off into the night. They drove for a time and she didn’t say very much as her mind played over the different things that could happen and how she would watch the angel from a distance after all he didn’t need her to be around for the sins he would likely fall into himself.

She wasn’t certain it was the thought of not wanting to be in the way or the thought of him picking a woman from the bar and taking her to his bed he was an angel after so did that mean he wouldn’t even know what to do with himself? Blinking that thought away for that wasn’t a road she needed to go down.

They pulled into a city turning down side streets where the crowds went from none too many in the span of four blocks. She knew this club like the back of her hand after all this was one of her hunting grounds, pulling up she parks the car and looks at the angel “Let’s go have an adventure.” Chuckling she got out of the car and walked to the club she expected him to fallow her example as she spoke to the bouncer and he let her slip inside. She had charmed him into letting the angel in as well but she didn’t want him to feel chained to her once the fun began.

The bar was a dark setting multicolored lights flashing as music seemed to hum through the floors and walls, the bar was against the back wall behind the dance floor with the DJ on the stand at the front of the club. So many bodies rubbed against one another dancing the music as if it was traveling through them. It was a feeling she knew well and she allowed the smooth motions to get her to the bar where she ordered a shot of vodka along with a beer to go with it. The padding of the leather stool was at least comfortable enough while she sat back and waited to see how this would progress.

Sam followed Deiliha all the way to a club of sorts. It was more modern than Sam was used to, with the bright lights and the loud hip-hop. The smell of alcohol greeted him, a smell he could remember from his angel days on earth. Brown eyes swept the room, looking over the very different people. It was dark, a little too dark to make out all their features. They were all moving about, some completely wasted, some relatively sober. Sam took a moment to gather more information about his surroundings. Then, he followed the demon's example, sat down at the bar, and ordered two straight shots of vodka.

When the glasses finally came out, Sam looked into the clear liquid. He didn't fancy the smell of it, but this was definitely a step up from the cigarette from earlier. He took in a breath, slowly exhaled, then downed the first shot in one large gulp. This, too, tasted like fire, and he winced as it crawled down his throat. He looked at the second one a long time before taking that, too. Sam wondered if there was supposed to be some instant effect, if he was still okay to walk or talk. He cleared his throat and walked over to the dance floor feeling fine.

Within minutes he was out of view, mingling with the people at the club. He talked with anyone who was willing to talk back, and watched as a few drunk people obviously flirted with him. It was something Sam was not used to at all, but he had to admit, the attention was nice. Eventually he made his way back to the bar, ordered more alcohol, and rejoined the dance floor. Within minutes he had his arm around a woman he didn't know. The alcohol was starting, slowly, to have effects. His woman playfully pecked at his neck, and Sam pecked back, seemingly good at flirting. After more alcohol, his single woman turned into two, a pair of drunk broads following him like puppies. He danced with them, grinding against their bodies, and having far more fun than he thought he would. He didn't even know how much alcohol he'd had by the time he started getting handsy, though he was still alert enough to stop himself. Pausing, Sam wondered if he should bother stopping himself at all. Why not go all the way, he thought. So, after dancing some more, he pulled a redhead into an embrace, and started making out in the middle of the dance floor. He'd completely forgotten about Deiliha, about his goal, about everything other than this woman, the music, and the shining lights.

She watched him down drink after drink and he seemed to be having more fun than he expected to have but then again she knew once he went down this path that he would realize just how human he had become. He seemed to have found some drunken girls to fondle and grind up against and she merely rolled her eyes and took another drink. She had slipped into the dancing crowd when he started sucking faces with a redhead and she smirked. She would find out if he held any interest for her, the thought both worried and excited her.

She found a man just in the line of his view when his eyes opened he would see the lovely demon dancing with a grace that was held by someone who spent years dancing. Her hips seemed for flow with the music as her body flowed with the dark haired man she leaned against. She knew his human senses would pick up the faint trace of vanilla for it was one thing she had wore for years for she loved the scent and the way it mixed into the air around them. Her eyes were closed for she needed to seem uninterested in his affairs. For she needed to see if she could still catch his attention.

Part of her wasn’t really certain why she cared if he wanted her or not but the other part of her just flowed with it for over the years she had learned to not fight things as they came even if the things where a fire of jealousy rumbling through your stomach. He wasn’t hers so she didn’t understand herself but she liked the angel that much she knew he was pure and in a lot of ways sweet. Something that in a world of darkness it was nice to have a little light with you.

He didn't notice the demon step onto the dance floor for a long time. Sam was preoccupied with the people flocking around him, suddenly interested in this new boy who could dance. But when he finally did notice her, he stopped to watch for a moment. Human lust grabbed hold of him, and he wandered over to her.

When Sam reached Deiliha, he blinked hard and looked around. What was he doing? He could not afford to be mingling with the devil's plaything, no matter how drunk he was. He shook his head and looked for some excuse to come this way. Deiliha was dancing with a man in the middle of a bunch of people. Surely Sam could have grabbed any one of them, but he unintentionally went for the one that would probably upset Deiliha the most.

When the demon parted from her dance partner, Sam moved in. He grabbed the hands of the man she'd been dancing with and took her place. The man seemed dumbfounded for a moment, but it soon faded, replaced by a new drunken lust. Sam realized, man or woman, he still had fun out here. In a few more moments, he was kissing this guy too. When he sobered, he would definitely color at the memory.

The man went away after a while. Sam wandered back to the bar, but he decided against another drink. He instead looked for Deiliha. When he fund her he approached her. "I don't know why angels don't do this," he said, speaking oddly steadily for someone who had drunk as much as he had. "This is real fun, yeah, we should do this again, maybe even invite Luci next time, I think he'll enjoy some, uh, dancing with us, yeah?" He laughed at whatever joke he thought he'd told. "You don't look like you're having fun. Cheer yourself, demon as beautiful as you can't be frowning like--like that, not while a guy like me is 'round. So smile. We're having fun. Right?"

The angel approached her and her eyes locked with his but he blinked and came to his senses not quite drunk enough to want the demons full attention but she could sense he did want her or at least the liquor made him pretty much want anyone. She parted from the man watching as the angel began dancing like a women with a purpose and as soon as he locked lips with a man she laughed walking back to the bar shaking her head. that angel was definitely something and as minor as it seemed he had tainted himself at least enough to get them through the door between lust and the gluttony of human liquor.

Sitting back at the bar she watched and waited for him to come to her and after a while he did just that seeming to mentally tell himself no to more liquor and for that she could at least respect him. then he came over a cracked a joke about old luci and she rolled her eyes deciding against telling him the devil did what he wanted there was no need for him to come to a human party and dance like a drunken fool. Deciding to pick on him she said “why so you can kiss him to?”

Then he talked about her not having fun and she smiled and leaned towards him “Oh Sammy, I am having fun with you.” she couldn’t help but smile he was still so light and when he was drunk he seemed so much happier than he did regularly. Standing she rolls her shoulder stretching her back “Shall we go darling?”
