Looking somewhat like a city in it's own right, the Academy stood tall. It is said to be a mix of ancient magic, modern magic, and technology from all across history. Some even go so far as to say, that even with, as much of the Academy that was known, there was just as much that was unknown.
The obvious was the Academy, Academy was as mystifying, as it was a curious. There were large spiraling towers decorating the grounds at seemingly random intervals. A mixture of reds, golds, and silver, so that when the sun hits each tower at different angles. They look like strange living flames. There were no fences on the grounds, demons were unable to enter the grounds. So this place was easily the safest place for anyone that doesn't have a complete handle on their magic yet.
There were stables built partially into ground, as well as few other buildings and facilities of some kind. The Main building though? Well, It looked did look like a traditional school house. If a tradition school house, looked like a number of building joined by unusually winding halls or things that resembled bubbles. Even with that chaos, it somehow managed to look nice.
Marie
She rode up on a horse, her family been with her up until the point the town had was next to the Academy. However, she wanted to get to the actual Academy by herself. Her family, as all with several Arch-mages, were kinda famous and she didn't want anyone getting any kind of ideas. She wasn't going to be a Arch-mage like her family and didn't want others treating her like she was some special person or was an oddity or anything like that. She wanted to be normal, regardless of what others thought of her. At least it would because of herself.
So needless to say, as she past one of the towers. A smile grinned, even with a twitch her from the wrist with the braided bracelet. Her excitement was growing and egged her horse on, picking up the pace towards the massive place.
Nina
At first glance, Nina might have appeared to be hiding behind one of the 'living flames'. However, if anyone took a closer look. They would figure out that she wasn't hiding behind one of the towers with a partial skeleton, but was actually taking a nap. Hugging the sleeping skeleton like he was a stuffed toy.
