Default Magically inclined IC pg-13 (AcrusxNeutrally Choatic)

Looking somewhat like a city in it's own right, the Academy stood tall. It is said to be a mix of ancient magic, modern magic, and technology from all across history. Some even go so far as to say, that even with, as much of the Academy that was known, there was just as much that was unknown.

The obvious was the Academy, Academy was as mystifying, as it was a curious. There were large spiraling towers decorating the grounds at seemingly random intervals. A mixture of reds, golds, and silver, so that when the sun hits each tower at different angles. They look like strange living flames. There were no fences on the grounds, demons were unable to enter the grounds. So this place was easily the safest place for anyone that doesn't have a complete handle on their magic yet.

There were stables built partially into ground, as well as few other buildings and facilities of some kind. The Main building though? Well, It looked did look like a traditional school house. If a tradition school house, looked like a number of building joined by unusually winding halls or things that resembled bubbles. Even with that chaos, it somehow managed to look nice.

    Marie
She rode up on a horse, her family been with her up until the point the town had was next to the Academy. However, she wanted to get to the actual Academy by herself. Her family, as all with several Arch-mages, were kinda famous and she didn't want anyone getting any kind of ideas. She wasn't going to be a Arch-mage like her family and didn't want others treating her like she was some special person or was an oddity or anything like that. She wanted to be normal, regardless of what others thought of her. At least it would because of herself.

So needless to say, as she past one of the towers. A smile grinned, even with a twitch her from the wrist with the braided bracelet. Her excitement was growing and egged her horse on, picking up the pace towards the massive place.

    Nina
At first glance, Nina might have appeared to be hiding behind one of the 'living flames'. However, if anyone took a closer look. They would figure out that she wasn't hiding behind one of the towers with a partial skeleton, but was actually taking a nap. Hugging the sleeping skeleton like he was a stuffed toy.

Reagan Fei sat atop a chestnut mare on a hill overlooking the school her parents decided to place her in starting this year. She looked vaguely apathetic however her eyes were gleaming with an excitement that was purely her own. She glanced over towards her father who gave her a warm smile and it took everything in her to keep from squealing like a little girl. Instead, she grinned as wide as she was able, finding it useless to try and resist anymore. "Reagan. Promise me you'll be good. I don't want to see you getting into fights." Reagan nodded, tapping her heels against her horse's sides to get a move on. "Of course. When have I ever done anything like that?" She cast him a teasing grin but it quickly melted when she saw her father's stern expression.

"I mean it. The moment I hear you've gotten into trouble, I'll pull you out and keep you at home to study other areas of magic." Reagan swallowed, nodding quickly, this time quite serious. "Yes sir. I'll be good. Promise." She would do anything to stay out of that house. Besides, alchemy was her life. She couldn't give it up and move on. Reagan peered over at her father Ashe rode up beside her, noticing a shift in his demeanor. He gave her a mischievous grin. "Good. Race you to the gates!" She watched with shock as her father's horse shot ahead, giving an indignant cry. "H-hey! That's cheating!" She didn't wait for his reply before digging her heels in and urging her mount to give chase.

    *Jaden*

Jaden shoved red locks from his face, a frown forming as it fell right back. It was irritating how it was too short to tie back, but too long to stay put. He was almost of a mind to chop it all off and wear one of those dark robes that had a hood. It would make him seem much more ominous than he really was however so he pushed the thought to he side. He might be a necromancer but he didn't want to scare people too much. Jaden came from a large family of necromancers who were typical in every sense. Dark clothes with a tendency towards more gothic designs. Some ended up evil and he knew some of them attempted to assassinate other people like themselves. People who used magic. Not necromancers.

He personally couldn't imagine it. He could hardly bring himself to banish the beings he summons, much less intentionally try to harm someone else. Some people were just weird like that he supposed. Jade took a breath and took a look around his room. He seemed to be the only occupant and he couldn't help but wonder if the directors or the principal or someone thought he would try to murder his roommate if he were to get one. The room looked like it could easily fit in two or three more people. It was just him though. Jaden frowned but decided he simply had more room to himself. There was a wardrobe in one corner of the room and when he opened it, he found three perfectly nice uniforms. So there was a dress code around here? Huh.

The uniform was made up of three parts; a shirt, a jacket and a pair of trousers. The pants were dark which was probably because of solidarity or something like that. The shirt was a long sleeved white button up that had the school's name down onto the right breast pocket. Above the insignia, there was the dark outline of a bare tree with a skull at the base. Jaden figured that was the indicator to show he wanted to be a necromancer. It looked pretty cool actually. The jacket was a deep blue, similar to the night sky and the same crest was sewn onto that too. With only a moments pause, Jaden took one of the uniforms to wear. It wouldn't do if he were to be mistaken for an outsider.

    Marie
Marie raced towards the massive buildings, until she spotted what she assumed was the stable. Then turned her horse towards it and noticed other horses racing towards the campus. Unable to stop herself, she let her horse slow to a nice-paced trot. Watching them a little and wondered if she would have class with either of them. She would love to meet a couple of people, but wondered what all this new life would come with. She loved it, she loved the chance to be herself, the chance to learn all she could about magic, to meet others like her, she just loved it. That was the only way that she could describe it.

After watching them for a couple minutes, she got her horse Galloping again. She wanted to get to her room and find out if she was going to have a roommate for not!

    Dagger/Nina
Dagger woke up before Nina did, his eyes slowly fluttered open. Before yawning so wide, the muscles holding his jaws together seem to strain. Then worked his jaw a little bit, as if doing that things dog sometimes do. Licking the top of his mouth and couple times as he woke up, with his not yet existent tongue. Followed be slowly stretching each of his limbs, none of his movements seeming to wake Nina. Finally after a good shake, he started nudging the girl hugging him. Doing everything short of biting her to get her to wake up.

Nina reluctantly got up, she had been enjoying her nap! She had been under The Bono Mountains in the secret Shrine, a sacred shine most thought was lost, surrounded by books, parchment, and tablets going back for 50 thousand years. Describing every prayer, hope, ritual, ceremony in the area, not to mention everything important that spanning time. So she was quite unhappy to have been pulled away from it.

Even so Dagger wouldn't stop until she was awake, "Dagger" she groaned. Wondering why he was waking her up, before seeing the massive tower she was sleeping behind and realized. "Oh, I completely forgot." She said, as Dagger rolled his eyes. After yawning and stretching herself, she got up scratching the back of her head and headed the main building, hoping to find a place to get a room key.

    *Reagan*

Reagan slowed her horse to a walk as they passed the gates, standing up in the stirrups and thrusting her fist into the air. She was triumphant once more. Her father came up soon, his horse more than eager to return to a nice leisurely pace. "You really go all out don't you?" He asked, a quiet laugh on his lips. Reagan grinned, glancing back towards him as she got her horse to stop. "That would be boring." She responded, sticking out her tongue. Her father rolled his eyes, pulling up on the reins to get his stallion to stop alongside Reagan's mount. Once he was at a complete stop, he glanced around. "It looks... Nice." He said after taking it in. "Don't you mean enchanting?" She asked, getting her horse moving once more, her gaze fixed on the glittering spires. He laughed once more and continued after her. "I guess that's one way to put it." Seeing it like this as amazing. Reagan felt a bubble of elation rise in her chest. She couldn't wait to get in there and start learning more about alchemy.

    *Jaden*

Jaden looked over his reflection, admiring the fit of the uniform. He had to wonder if there were tiny fairies or something that took measurements when he was sleeping. It didn't look awkward like most did considering his legs were long and the bottom usually ended a tad short. It was quite nice he decided. With a small smile, Jade turned and headed out of the room, his key safely inside his pocket. He was interested in taking a look around. Besides, there was supposed to be some sort of orientation later on that night and it would be cool if he could show people around. If he knew the school well enough by then anyway... He had a horrible sense of direction though so he severely doubted it.

Upon leaving his room, Jaden immediately noticed two things. The first was that there were a girls going to and from rooms so either they were visiting, or this was a coed dorm. The second was that there were some different insignias among those milling around. So there weren't designated sections for different interests. That was good. It meant he would have neighbors at least. Jade didn't think there were a ton of people who wanted to be necromancers with all the bad blood that came from this particular occupation.

    Marie
Coming put of the stable she saw the other newcomer coming closer and waved her this way, just in case she hadn't realized where the stable was. Before stepping out of the way, not dumb enough to risk getting ran over. Waiting a few moments to see if she the girl headed for the stable and started off running towards the main building of the school, smiling.

    Nina
Nina got her key fairly easily, though she had gotten a couple looks because of Dagger. She was on her way towards one of the dorm buildings, trying to find her number. Most people seemed busy and she felt completely lost, Dagger staying close on her heels. Eventually she found a boy that looked a bit less busy, or at least less go go go! So went up to him, noticing his insignia. Thinking the tree looked pretty cool and couldn't help but wonder what the story skull held, she asked. "huh, Excuse me" she asked offering him a smile, "any idea where room 378 is?"

    *Reagan*
Reagan's gaze was fixed upon the school and she didn't notice the girl waving until her father cleared his throat and motioned towards her. Reagan looked towards the girl, a little surprised but grateful at least for the thoughtful gesture. She made a motion to let the girl know she saw the stables, steering her mare towards them with a small tug of the reins. She glanced over once more to see if the girl was going to stay but realized this probably wasn't the case considering the stranger had turned and was running for the school. It was good to see she wasn't the only one excited about this. Reagan grinned, hopping off her horse once she was inside the stables and handing her off to one of the stable hands. She was eager to go in and start looking around. Unfortunately she had to wait for her father. Energy seemed to bubble underneath her skin and Reagan rocked on her heels. This was going to be an excellent year!

    *Jaden*
Jaden made his way leisurely out of the building, ready to go exploring until someone spoke to him. He was a bit startled by her appearance but it was mostly because the people around him seemed busier than anything and less because of the skeleton. The skeleton was actually pretty cool if his opinion counted for anything. Jaden hid his apparent surprise, flashing her a smile of his own. "Room 378?" He paused to think. Of course he didn't know his way around well enough to lead people to rooms and the only reason he knew at all was because it was the room across from his own. "It's in this building behind me. Second floor on the right. You can't miss it." Jaden glanced back at the dorm building. This girl seemed pretty nice and if the skeleton was anything to go by, she was a necromancer like him. "I'm Jaden by the way. What's your name?" He held out a hand, hoping he seemed friendly and not at all like some dementor ready to suck out someone's soul.

    Marie
She smiled Spinning around as she got her key. Running off to find her room, getting past several clumps of people. Who whispered... Something, she wasn't really paying attention at the moment. She was more focused on finding her room. When she did, Her excitement exploded and she pretty much went into a fan girling squee and freak mode about everything. Which ended with her hugging her uniform so tightly she was probably creating some wrinkles and creases.

    Nina
She blinked at the boy and smiled again. "Nina, its' nice to meet you. Thanks for the help," she said and took his offered hand, shaking it. Then Nodded behind her, "that's Dagger. Found him with his leg trapped in a bear trap, poor guy could barely walk. It not only severed most of his muscles, but had also crushed the bone. Had to help him out and he has followed me and helped me out ever since." She said as if it was normal to find something that resembled a skeleton but was still alive, was normal.

    *Reagan*
Reagan's dad left shortly after she received her room key and she'd been sure to give him a large hug. She had her bag slung across her shoulder that held her casual clothes and some things she didn't want to leave behind like the potions book she first began learning from and a worn old stuffed animal that couldn't be positively identified as the rabbit it used to be. The moment her father was out of eyesight, a squirming mass seemed to form in her stomach and she turned to the dorm buildings with the hope of finding her room quickly. It was quite easy after she accidentally walked through the wrong one twice however. Before long, she was in front of a door fumbling with her key. It slid in easily once her nerves calmed down enough and she turned it, pushing open the door... To find a girl hugging a uniform as if they were long lost friends. Reagan blinked, trying to find something pleasant to say. The only thing she managed to force out at last was an intelligent 'hi'.

    *Jaden*
Jade let his hands drop to his sides once they'd gone through proper introductions, giving her another pleasant smile. "No problem. I was quite happy to." He stopped, peering at the skeleton like thing with a small confused frown. He didn't remember skeletons having muscles. "Muscles? Is the rest of him invisible?" Jaden asked, hoping he didn't sound as confused as he was.

    Marie
She looked up from her bed and blushed, "sorry. This must look strange, I Just can't believe I am here." She half explained and half admitted. Before getting off the bed and hung her uniform up, still blushing.

Before turning around, "My names' Marie," She said politely and held her hand out. "I guess we are roommates?" She asked, with a slightly nervous smile. Hoping the girl didn't think she was already weird because of her out burst, though knew she probably did. Well, she had wanted to be judged for who she was dn what she did, not her family, guess this is what they call. You should be careful what you wish for.

    Nina
She chuckle, "no silly," she said as if it was obvious, but in an oddly happy tone. Somehow even though he only had one whole eye, it was somehow obvious that Dagger was rolling his eyes. "Dagger is a MorsaVita, they are born as skeletons and grow organs, muscles, skin, fur, claws, and anything else I am missing, later into life. Dagger doesn't have all of his muscles yet, just starting to grow his ears, half way through growing his eyes, and has his diaphram as well as a a good chuck of his organs." She said ending listing off what she knew he had, while Dagger sat and shook his head. Like what Nina was doing was just exasperating.

    *Reagan*
Reagan tried to hide how truly startled she was with a quiet laugh, shaking her head as she stepped into the room and closed the door behind her. "Er. No. Not really." She paused, going over to the other bed in the room and setting her bag down. "Well, I mean. Yeah. But I understand. This place is amazing." Reagan grinned, trying to seem open and approachable. She sat down on the mattress, hesitating briefly before figuring it would be polite to introduce herself as well. "I'm Reagan." God, that sounded too short. "Roommates sounds about right..." That sentence was too stupid to leave on it's own. Of course they were roommates. "It's a pleasure to meet you." Annnd scene. It wasn't the perfect introduction but it was farther than she usually got.

    *Jaden*
Jaden felt foolish for saying something that seemed so obviously wrong. Nina didn't seem to be scolding him however or making fun of him really. Both were good signs. "I've never heard of MorsaVitas." Jaden admitted after Nina was through listing things about the skeleton creature named Dagger. "Where do they come from?" Maybe they originated in the dark islands by Nirn where the skies were perpetually cloudy, or perhaps near the ruins of Agrahba where it was said that magic leaked from the old mage's body still and transformed the creatures in the area to something completely different. Jade listened eagerly for a reply, wishing to learn more.
