History: Yen Tein was born in the US just as the aircraft her parents were on during their return to Vietnam landed in Gate City, Georgia. Seeing as she was just born her parents were taken to the hospital and had to remain in the US for a while, and decided to settle down in Gate City to raise their daughter. Her father was returning to Vietnam to open a new shipping company after a meeting in France, and her mother, a Vietnamese lady who had been brought up in France and had been one of the first women in France to study at the University of Marseille, had finished studying a course in communications, it seemed inevitable that Yen would follow in at least one of their footsteps. Unfortunately, her early life was not a very good one, with discrimination against non-whites running rampant. While not as bad as what the African-American community suffered, she still found it hard to get very far, especially being of the female gender. And then one day she found out something, her father had been dealing with the Gate City Mafia, and had been using the funds from various smuggling operations to slowly build up his own organised crime group, although it started as a way to protect their neighbourhoods from attacks from white supremacist groups, linked to the Chinese Triads and Japanese Yakuza on the West Coast of the US. While it either remained under the radar of the Gate City Mafia, or was completely ignored, for quite some time, the Mafia, in their paranoia at losing their power, which had been waning, they decided to attack. Her older brother and father’s bodies were found in the Mississippi River on the 10th of January 1970, both shot in the back of the head execution style. Now, six months later, Yen Tien is on a path of revenge. She has started putting feelers out for other groups or individuals who have been wronged by the Gate City Mafia, or just want to take the power they had, possible allies for her to prove their paranoia was justified. Hers is a path of revenge.
