At Yuan's comment, Ronan almost explodes, "Do not think a leprechaun's pot of gold a mere cauldron of trinkets!"

Morgan calmly cuts in, "Near as I can tell from my research, a leprechaun's pot of gold is a source of limitless wealth. That should interest even you, my economy destroying friend."

Ronan coughs again, "Yes, well, and as for Niall, I never said he was unimportant. He's actually growing in popularity with the younger fey, and only narrowly lost the election this cycle. If this trend continues, I'll be bowing to him before long!"

He slams his fist on the table to exaggerate his point. He regains his composure saying, "And I never said this will be easy. Niall has money and influence and will not be an easy target, especially as he will be fortifying his entourage for the ceremony.

"As for reprisal, if you handle this right, it'll damage his credibility so much that whatever power he currently has will not remain with him long. Besides, I understand that you are all pretty good at dealing with would-be assailants."

Morgan remembered the last time someone particularly foolish thought to hire a gunman to take him out, and a faint smile broke out. However this turned out, it was sure to be fun.

Yuan drops his feet and leans forward. For the first time in the conversation he takes off his sunglasses.

"When you have an endless supply of magically created gold, maybe open with that. you want the hobbit dead or alive and in how many pieces?"

Ronan smiles a big toothy grin, "That's the spirit. Now, I want to make it clear that I am not hiring you to kill Niall."

He says the last part a little louder and more clearly, and looks into the corner of the room as if at a recording device of some sort, "However, I do not think anyone would miss him all too much."

Morgan, always careful to pay attention to the details in such things asks, "What about those younger fey whose attention he's garnering?"

Ronan waves the question off, "They are fickle and of low importance. Even if something terrible did happen to Niall, they would find someone new to follow. They are like Sluagh, not Balor."

Polly was going to respond with, "Absolutely," but at that moment, the Leprechaun entered the room. Instead, she nodded in response and turned her attention to the little man in the nice suit. The little pharmacist also noted that she had momentarily overlooked another gentleman in the room while she had been observing the others. He also wore a nice suit.

Ah, so this is a political powerplay, she thought, listening to the Leprechaun's explanation for their purpose there.

The woman blinked and was a little taken aback by a camera flash. Someone - the gangster - was taking a picture of her. What was he trying at? Polly furrowed an eyebrow and looked at him questioningly, then returned her focus to the Leprechaun and what turned into a conversation between him and the gangster. As anticipated, the gangster was in the ordeal for the money and concerned about the profit - loss ratio. A pot of Leprechaun gold. Of course it is worth your time, ignorant gangster boy, she smiled to herself.

So they just had to make a Leprechaun disappear for a little while. Polly could definitely help with that.

Adam watched the exchange between the three men in silence. He wasnt sure exactly what to think about their "mission." He didnt care about the gold, his mother periodically gave him money and the shop owner paid him well enough to live comfortably, and he definitely didnt want to have a group of fey holding a grudge against him. No harm in keeping him busy though.

"We aren't going to kill him, but i have no issues with making him late. Besides yourself, is there anyone who would want him dead?"

Ronan sighed, "While I'd not mourn his passing, I can't say as even I'd want him dead."

Morgan explained, "I believe the Knight is concerned with how difficult it may become to keep our good friend Mr. Mac an t-Saoir under our...protection for the requisite 24 hrs."

Ronan replied, "I wouldn't have any fear of that. The bastard has other enemies, but I'm his worst. You'll be the only ones targeting him this season."

Morgan nodded, "I'm sure you want us to work out most of the details ourselves, but with the time limit of a few days, might I ask where would be the best place to find Mr. Mac an t-Saoir?"

"The Nevernever Casino. There's only one, and we leprechauns run it, it's basically become our realm. He'll be there, he never leaves except to attend major feasts, which he's always late to. In fact, that may be your biggest trouble as the Casino is considered neutral territory under the Accords."

While Morgan had heard about the Casino, it had gotten bigger in the last few decades, he'd never been himself. He may have been immortal, but he was still human. He still remembered being an alcoholic and didn't like to experiment with vice anymore.

Adam remembered the casino well. One of his "Godabouts" as he called them (the times when he felt he was needed somewhere), had lead him to the Bazaar section of the casino. One of the Coins was being sold by a Russian priest.

"Would we be able to fake an assassination attempt to gain his trust? Tell him we were hired by a friend to protect him in a safe location?"

"I suppose that could work, although you might find it hard to convince him." Ronan replied, "I'll leave all the details to you. I'm a businessman, not a criminal."

Morgan raised his eyebrows at the implication, but said nothing. He supposed technically this could be considered criminal...

Ronan straightened his suit, "Now, unless anyone has any more questions for me, I think I'm done here."
