Synopsis
In the year 2020, mankind had sought fit to venture into the stars. Thus, the first ever starship to be created was proudly named, the "Odyssey". The United Nations called for all first-world and second-world countries to pool their wealth and mind together to create such a marvelous vessel, and three decades later, humanity has come to own an impressive fleet. A little over a thousand known ships ranging from the Shoehorn to the Dawnlight, sailed into the stars in hopes of seeing the human race expand from their cradle. And, when exploring their system they had sought to put small expeditionary bases and facilities on certain planets such as Mars, Venus, and Jupiter. However it did not take long, not long at all, for humanity to come into contact with their first extraterrestrial lifeform. But, it was not a friendly first contact.
Hostile lifeforms, only referred to as the "Regents", emerged from the outer most planet, Neptune. At first they were called Neptunites, as they had came from Neptune, but they're names slowly began to change when it was realized that their military might was too much for the planets under humanity's control to contain. Humanity loss one facility after another, and these losses were too much for Humanity to bear. So, they had decided to create the ultimate fighting machine that could withstand the plasma bursts from their energy weapons and withstand even the most extreme of environments. Engineers, scientists, and technicians from all around the world poured their hearts and souls into an exoskeleton suit codenamed "A.N.D.U" (Advance, Neptunite, Disposal, Unit).
ANDUs proved to be an invaluable asset to the military might of humanity, but it seemed as though it wasn't meant for combat against the Neptunites. With its durability and strength as well as other attributes it wasn't purposefully made for a single person. The nations of the world decided that this automation, made by the hands of those that want to protect their home, would be suited for a different purpose.. War..
The ANDUs were then renamed, G.E.A.Rs, after the initial "test-run" yielded results far better than anything they could have hoped for. Thus, in 2046, these G.E.A.Rs were being mass produced and given to every pilot that wanted a shot being a legend among their peers. These pilots, who were valiant in their desire to win the hearts of their brethren and obliterate the essence of their enemies, would come to be known as ANDUs taking after the previous name of the G.E.A.Rs.
Now, in the year 2059 (four years after the Battle of Mars and the victory given there), mankind has been given a chance to strike back at the Regents. Their numbers have dwindled since then, leaving gaps for the interstellar navy to navigate through. These gaps, although small in window, allowed for taskforces to move in and dig deep behind enemy-lines. Admiral of the (ANDU) Expeditionary Force, Veris Krekon, has been leading the charge with her GEARs in toe. Being made a war hero by the UN's propaganda machine, she stands as the public figure head of humanity and has gained enough reputation to make her revered amongst all fleets. However, with her reputation and public notability she has been the one to be sent on the "suicide missions". Her and her GEARs have been the ones to, time and time again, break holes in Regent offenses, and with these achievements they've lost many. Good pilots they've lost in their engagements, but they've learned and adapted. Thus coming to now.
The UN's war council has given the order to spearhead an Invasion of Saturn. Saturn has been under Regent control for the last four years, and with the hard-fought victory on Mars, humanity is feeling quite bold. Even more so that they're having Admiral Krekon lead the spearhead to Saturn. Her and her pilots have proven their worth, but could they prove it once more?
